Chinese meat

Question

I have read your Fatwa on eating meat in non Muslim countries. However this permission does include also eating meat in a country like China since they are not \"Ketabyeen\". This is indeed important because my wife is Chinese and we visit her family always.

Answer

Allah sent messangers to all humans, and Mohamed is the final prophet. So, all people are Ahl Al Ketab, (People of book). This includes the biggest people in the world, Chineses. It is permission to eat Chinese .meat. Not pork and other prohibited meat, of course.
