We have received this question via email and we have answered it in out fatwas section; the comments which have been written (in Arabic) under this fatwa drove our person to write an article to provide more details about the same topic; the first article was followed by a series of articles compiled in this book which you are reading now. This is the reason why the introduction comprises this fatwa; i.e., the question followed by our answer to it, and also the comments written beneath this fatwa within the Arabic section of our Qurnaism website. This fatwa is found in English on this link: (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=20251). Here is the entire fatwa in the lines below.
It Is a Form of Disbelief to Believe in Mortals
Published in January 16, 2020
Question: … Dear Sir, … So, I should not believe in Muhammad; rather, I should believe in the Messenger which is the Quran right? What is the difference?! … Thank you …
Answer:
To believe in mortals is sheer disbelief/polytheism; one is the believe in God only; one believes with the messenger (i.e., Muhammad) in the Messenger (with a capital [M], referring to the Holy Quran itself). To believe in someone means to deify him/her. The Quranic command in the last verses of the Quranic Chapter Two to believe with the messengers (including Muhammad) means to believe in the Celestial Scriptures granted to them by the Lord God; this means one is to believe in the Quran as God's Word granted to Muhammad.
COMMENTS:
(1) Dr. Mustafa Ismail Hammad: I tend to think that it is an Islamic duty in the Quran to believe in, not only with, Muhammad the messenger of the Lord God; in this verse: "O you who believe! Fear God, and believe in His Messenger" (57:28), the (Messenger) here is the Quran itself, no doubt, but what about this verse: "The messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. They all have believed in God, and His angels, and His Books, and His messengers: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.”..." (2:285)? The (messenger) here is Muhammad, beyond the shadow of doubt, and not the Quran; besides, 2:285 contains the command to believe in (His messengers). The belief in, not merely with, Muhammad (alongside with the belief in the Quran) is indicated here as well: "...Those who believe in him, and respect him, and support him, and follow the light that came down with him - these are the successful." (7:157).
(2) Dr. Othman M. Ali: My dear Dr. Mustafa Ismail Hammad, I've posed this question like you before; Dr. Mansour answered me by telling me that 7:157 refers to the believe in the prophethood of Muhammad and not in him as a deity; there is no belief in persons in Islam; there is no deification of mortals in Islam.
(3) Dr. Mustafa Ismail Hammad: Yet, my dear Dr. Othman M. Ali, 7:157 is very clear to me; we are to believe in Muhammad as a messenger and a prophet and this is not a form of polytheism at all, right?!
(4) Dr. Othman M. Ali: My dear Dr. Mustafa Ismail Hammad, I think you have repeated what I have written in my earlier comment; i.e., to believe in the prophethood of a messenger whose name of Muhammad; this is not to believe in Muhammad as a deity.
(5) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: Of course, in the Holy Quran, there is no room for believing in someone or in any person because this is sheer polytheism by deifying mortals; we believe in the prophethood of prophets and messengers, of course. Moses' Pharaoh accused the Egyptian magicians that they believed in or with Moses before his prior permission. To believe in the Messenger (with a capital 'M') means to believe in the Quran itself which is the Divine Messenger or Message of the Lord God which will last until the advent of the Hour. The proper name (Muhammad) is mentioned in the Quran four times only; one of these times is about the belief in what has descended on Muhammad: "While those who believe, and work righteousness, and believe in what was sent down to Muhammad..." (47:2). The names of other prophets/messengers like Noah and Jesus are repeated many times without mentioning the belief in them but in the message they conveyed; namely, (There is no God but Allah).
(6) Mr. Omar Ali: Congratulations, Dr. Mansour, for having performed Hajj and for your safe return (see the book, in English, titled "About our Pilgrimage Journey to Mecca", found on this link: http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=165). My belated comment is due to the fact that I could not log in within my account on the Quranism website for more than a week; I can't imagine the reason for such a delay. As for Moses' Pharaoh and the Egyptian magicians regarding Moses, we find these two verses: "...Did you believe in him before I have given you permission?..." (7:123); "...Did you believe with him before I have given you permission?..." (20:71). Many Quranic verses containing the verb (to believe in) refer to beings and things invisible to us; we never see God and we never saw all previous Books/Scriptures; none of us saw any of the messengers and prophets and none of us can see the angels. As for Quranic verses containing the verb (to believe with), it means to trust/obey someone and to be assured he is saying the truth. Hence, the Quranic verb (to believe in) means to deify Allah and to believe in His Word: the Holy Quran. As for the Quranic verb (to believe with), it is employed to refer to messengers and prophets of the Lord God, I think.
(7) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: May the Lord God bless you Mr. Omar Ali; thank you for your comment. Some hackers try to sabotage our website; in some cases, we, ourselves, cannot log in within our own account; we receive many emails about this from several Quranists. The fact that Wahabi hackers who hate Quranism do so is a clear indication that they cannot refute our Quranist views which infuriate them very much and painfully remind them of their polytheism which is the sickness of their hearts. Please wait for our article which will provide more details about the topic of this fatwa.
(8) Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Kareem: The Holy Quran is the Last Message from the Lord God; it is His Word and the last warning to humanity; this is why the focus must be on it and not on Muhammad as a person. Only polytheists place much emphasis on Muhammad and they take (too much) pride in him; this is because they deify him though he is not the center of the Islamic faith; its center is the Quran itself. It is the last message from Allah. This is why Muhammad is the last of all messengers of Allah; the Quran informs us he was a mortal; he died; the Quran tells is about his mistakes and his good traits and those of other prophets/messengers; we are never to make distinction among them; we must shift our focus to the Quranic text itself, as the Lord God's last warning to human beings, and not to the life and traits of Muhammad.
(9) Dr. Mustafa Ismail Hammad: I desire very much that Dr. Mansour would write an article about this topic, as he promised us, very soon; this is better than imitating Al-Khawarij in declaring one other as infidels or disbelievers; may the Lord God guide all of us to His Straight Path.
PART I: Those who believe in Muhammad are disbelievers: The belief is not in Muhammad but in what ha
PART I: Those who believe in Muhammad are disbelievers: The belief is not in Muhammad but in what has descended upon Muhammad
Firstly: the Quranic meaning of (to believe in):
This verb in the Quranic text means to have faith in and to submit one's heart/soul to the Lord God. This means the verb (to believe in) must never be followed by someone or something as this is sheer polytheism. This means to believe in the messengers means to believe not in persons or deified mortals but in the Divine Messages they have conveyed from the Lord God.
The Lord God has mentioned the following about the belief in messengers and not to make distinction among them:
1- "The messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. They all have believed in God, and His angels, and His Books, and His messengers: “We make no distinction among any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord. To you is the destiny.”" (2:285). The verb (to believe in) within this Quranic verse does NOT mean to deify mortals or messengers; it means to believe in the Divine Scriptures granted to them by the Lord God; hence, we should never make any distinction among them because the Divine Message descended upon them by Allah is the same to all of them despite their different tongues, eras, and locations. Hence, we never believe in a messenger in the sense of deifying him, or else, this would be sheer polytheism and making distinction among messengers by deifying one of them as a god alongside with Allah and by making his biography as 'sanctified' history of a deity. This polytheism never pertains to Religion of the Dominant Lord God which descended upon all messengers: Islam/monotheism.
2- "Say, “We believe in God; and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Tribes; and in what was given to Moses and Jesus; and in what was given to the prophets - from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them, and to Him we submit.”" (2:136). Again, in 2:136, one does not believe in mortals whose names are mentioned in this Quranic verse; rather, the belief is in the Divine Message granted to them from Allah. We also find in 2:136 the assertion of the core tenet of faith in Islam/monotheism; namely, never to make any distinction among any of the Lord God's messengers and prophets; all of them must be in the same degree to all monotheists; they are mortal prophets/messengers and never immortal deities. This means monotheism indicates that one's mind/heart/soul and one's religion are dedicated willingly and entirely to the Dominant Lord God in submission. The very next verse shows that those who contradict 2:136 by their deeds, word, and stances are disbelievers who are embroiled in schisms and disputes in religion since they believe in mortals; i.e., they deify some or all prophets/messengers; their polytheism increases as they deify other mortals among non-messengers and non-prophets; namely, the so-called saints/allies, intercessors, and imams; "If they believe in the same as you have believed in, then they have been guided. But if they turn away, then they are in schism. God will protect you against them; for He is the Hearer, the Knower." (2:137). Of course, this context of 2:136-137 has been addressed mainly to the People of the Book in Arabia; it also addresses all Quran-believing people in all eras until the end of days.
3- "Say, “We believe in God, and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Tribes; and in what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them, and to Him we submit.”" (3:84). This time, the verse 3:84 is addressing Muhammad and all of the Quran-believing monotheists in all eras until the end of days; it is the same message of urging the belief in messengers (i.e., the Divine Scriptures and not persons) and to never make distinction among any of them; again, the very next verse indicates clearly the disbelief of those who reject this monotheism/Islam found in 3:84 and if they die without repentance, they will be among the losers inside Hell in the Afterlife: "Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers." (3:85). This means that Islam/monotheism (or submission to the Lord God only) is the One Religion revealed in all Divine Scriptures granted to all messengers/prophets of the Lord God despite their different tongues eras, and locations. This is the true meaning of to believe in all messengers and Books of the Lord God.
4- "God received a pledge from the Israelites, and We raised among them twelve chiefs. God said, “I am with you; if you perform prayers and Zakat and believe in My messengers and support them, and lend God a loan of righteousness; I will remit your sins, and admit you into Gardens beneath which rivers flow. But whoever among you disbelieves afterwards has strayed from the right way.”" (5:12). This is Islam/monotheism within the convent made with the Israelites; had they adhered to this covenant and believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad (i.e., the Quran), the deniers among the People of the Book in Arabia would not have sided with the enemies of Muhammad: "Had theybelieved in God and the Prophet, and in what was revealed to him, they would not have allied themselves to them. But many of them are sinful." (5:81). We find in both 5:12 and 5:81 the verb (to believe in) in the sense of the belief in the Divine Message and not in deified mortals, of course.
5- The monotheistic belief (using the verb [to believe in]) is a test in the following Quranic context.
5/1: Moses has said the following to his people: "Moses said, “O my people, if you have believed in God, then put your trust in Him, if you have submitted.”" (10:84).
5/2: The Lord God has said the following to the contemporaries/companions of Muhammad after the victory achieved within the battle of Badr: "And know that whatever spoils you gain, to God belongs its fifth, and to the Messenger, and the nearest of kin, and the orphans, and the poor, and to the wayfarers, provided you believe in God and in what We revealed to Our servant on the Day of Distinction, the day when the two armies met. God is Capable of everything." (8:41).
5/3: The verb (to believe in) is thus employed in contexts of the true belief within monotheism and the polytheistic belief in falsehoods; for instance, the tribe/people of Thamood choose to disbelieve in the Truth and to believe in falsehoods, as per this Quranic verse: "Those who were arrogant said, “We reject what you believe in.”" (7:76).
Secondly: to believe with means peaceful behavior or Islam/belief in terms of peaceful demeanor (i.e., adherence to peace in general):
1- There is the belief in the Lord God within Islam/monotheism in terms of one's heart/soul, without ascribing partners/associates to Him, and with the belief in the Divine Message granted to the messengers/prophets of the Lord God. This is Islam in terms of monotheistic faith.
2- The other meaning of Islam is outward peaceful behavior. Islam means adhering to peace within one's demeanor and one's life. This is the meaning of Islam to which Arabs in groups adhered and this victory was witnessed by Muhammad shortly before his death: "When there comes God’s victory and triumph. And you see the people entering God’s religion in multitudes." (110:1-2). Muhammad was never a mind-reader and he had not any measure of omniscience; what he saw as per 110:2 was groups and throngs of Arabs adhering to peace (i.e., Islam in term of demeanor) after centuries of raids and wars among the Arab tribes in Arabia; of course, peace is the Lord God's Religion. This means that the Quranic verse 110:2 is NOT about Islam in terms of monotheistic faith or to believe in God, His Books, His angels, and His prophets/messengers. The vast majority of those Arabs got used to deifying/sanctifying allies/saints and gods and among them were the hypocrites. This means that what Muhammad saw as per 110:2 was their adhering to peace which is Islam in terms of behavior. It means to adhere to peace, safety, and security; the three word are synonymous in the Quranic text. This meaning is reflected in the Quranic verb (to believe with) which means to trust someone and also to be assured of someone's peaceful and non-violent behavior.
3- This sense of the verb (to believe with) is mentioned several times in the Quranic stories of messengers/prophets of the Lord God.
3/1: The affluent disbelievers among the people of Noah said the following to him: "They said, “Shall we believe with you, when it is the lowliest who follow you?”" (26:111). This means they felt that Noah was not to be trusted since the poorest classes followed him; they refused to believe with him in the Divine Message of monotheism he conveyed from Allah.
3/2: The same meaning was expressed by the tribe/people of Aad to their prophet Hud: "They said, “O Hud, you did not bring us any evidence, and we are not about to abandon our gods at your word, and we will not believe with you.”" (11:53); "He is nothing but a man, making up lies about God. We will not believe with him.”" (23:38).
3/3: This is within the context of the Quranic story of Abraham; his relative Lot believed with or trusted, him: "Then Lot believed with him..." (29:26).
3/4: The sons of Jacob/Israel, after they got rid of Joseph, said the following to their father as they felt he never trusted them: "They said, “O father, we went off racing one another, and left Joseph by our belongings; and the wolf ate him. But you will not believe with us, even though we are being truthful.” " (12:17).
3/5: The same meaning of the Quranic verb (to believe with) is repeated within the Quranic story of Moses.
3/5/1: The following was said by the disbelieving people of Pharaoh.
3/5/1/1: "They said, “Are we to believe with two mortals like us, and their people are our worshipers?”" (23:47).
3/5/1/2: "And they said, “No matter what sign you bring us, to bewitch us with, we will not believe with you.”" (7:132).
3/5/1/3: "They said, “Did you come to us to divert us from what we found our ancestors following, and so that you become prominent on earth? We will never believe with you.”" (10:78).
3/5/2: Moses said the following to Pharaoh and to Pharaoh's people: "But if you do not believe with me, keep away from me.”" (44:21).
3/5/3: Moses' Pharaoh, while addressing the Egyptian magicians, employed the verb (to believe in) within the sense of deifying someone (i.e., deifying Moses): "Pharaoh said, “Did you believe in him before I have given you permission?..." (7:123); in contrast, in another Quranic context, Moses' Pharaoh, also while addressing the Egyptian magicians, employed the verb (to believe with) within the sense of trusting someone (i.e., trusting Moses): "He said, “Did you believe with him before I have given you permission?..." (20:71 + 26:49). Of course, Moses' Pharaoh employed both verbs because he deified himself and wanted to make sure that everyone deified him and was loyal to him as a ruler and a deity.
3/5/4: The Israelites, who were the people of Moses, told Moses the following during the exodus while leaving Egypt: "...“O Moses, we will not believe with you unless we see God plainly.” ..." (2:55). This means they did not trust Moses at the time.
3/6: The verb (to believe with) is mentioned in the Quranic story of Muhammad.
3/6/1: The misguided ones among the People of the Book in Arabia said the following: "And believe with none except those who follow your religion.”..." (3:73).
3/6/2: The Lord God has said the following about them: "Do you hope that they will believe with you, when some of them used to hear the Word of God, and then deliberately distort it, even after understanding it? " (2:75).
Thirdly: who are the dwellers of Paradise?:
They are the ones who have combined, in this world, both (1) Islam/belief in terms of monotheistic faith or submitting one's heart/soul and one's religion entirely to the Lord God, and (2) Islam in term of demeanor; i.e., peaceful behavior with all people.
1- Islam in term of faith inside one's heart/soul is to submit totally to the Dominant Lord God within piety, monotheism, and obedience. "Say, “My prayers and my worship, and my life and my death, are devoted to God, the Lord of the Worlds. No associate has He. Thus I am commanded, and I am the first of those who submit." (6:162-163).
2- Those true monotheists who apply 6:162-163 apply Islam also in terms of peaceful demeanor; they adhere to peace when they deal with all people; i.e., they never commit violence, aggression, or injustices against anyone. To combine both meanings of Islam in terms of behavior (i.e., peace) and faith (i.e., monotheism + piety) results in entering into Paradise in the Hereafter; this applies to Muhammad here: "...he believes in God and believes with the believers..." (9:61). This means he worshiped and deified/sanctified Allah only and trusted peaceful believers and dealt with them peacefully.
Fourthly: the dwellers of Paradise are linked to word of peace and security in the Quranic text:
In the Holy Quran, Paradise is described as the Home of Peace.
1- "For them is the Home of Peace with their Lord..." (6:127).
2- "God invites to the Home of Peace..." (10:25).
The greetings of the Paradise dwellers is peace.
1- "Their call therein is, “Glory be to You, our God.” And their greeting therein is, “Peace.” And the last of their call is, “Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.”" (10:10).
2- "Everlasting Gardens, which they will enter, along with the righteous among their parents, and their spouses, and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate. “Peace be upon you, because you endured patiently. How excellent is the Final Home.”" (13:23-24).
3- "But those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted into Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to remain therein forever, by leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: “Peace.”" (14:23).
4- "Those who are in a wholesome state when the angels take them - will say, “Peace be upon you; enter Paradise, for what you used to do.”" (16:32).
5- "They will hear no nonsense therein, but only peace..." (19:62).
6- "Those will be awarded the Chamber for their patience, and will be greeted therein with greetings and peace." (25:75).
7- "Their greeting on the Day they meet Him is, “Peace,”..." (33:44).
8- "Peace - a saying from a Most Merciful Lord." (36:58).
9- "...“Peace be upon you, you have been good, so enter it, to abide therein eternally.”" (39:73).
10- "Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity." (50:34).
The following is about security and safety inside Paradise.
1- "They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security." (44:55).
2- " Whoever brings a good deed will receive better than it - and they will be safe from the horrors of that Day." (27:89).
3- "...and they will reside in the Chambers, in peace and security." (34:37).
4- Of course, peace and security are combined here: "“Enter it in peace and security.”" (15:46).
Fifthly: we find the following, in this world, within the practice and application of the above:
1- The unjust ones, the aggressors, and the criminals are a minority in this transient world on earth; the vast majority of human beings are peaceful people and many of them are oppressed. Their adherence of peace is Islam in terms of behavior; their outward, overt demeanor can be judged as such in this world by onlookers and observers; the verb (to believe with) applies to them.
2- Sadly, the vast majority of human beings (peaceful ones + aggressors/criminals and unjust ones) are polytheists the verb (to believe in) applies to them since they believe in (i.e., to deify) mortals and creatures and things/items; they sanctify saints/allies, tombs/mausoleums, and clergymen of all types. Judging polytheists will be only by the Lord God (and not any mortals) on the Judgment Day in the Hereafter.
3- This vast majority of human beings in all eras differ and are divided into many earthly/terrestrial religions, sects, doctrines, and denominations.
4- The terrestrial religions of Satan urge followers to deify mortals; hence, the Christians/Jesuits are the Umma/community of Christ who deify Jesus; the Muhammadans are the Umma/community of Muhammad who deify him; Buddhists deify Buddha,...etc. Inside such terrestrial religions, there are (sub)divisions of sects and doctrines; e.g., Shiites, Sunnites, Sufis, Catholics, Orthodox, and Protestants. In most cases, dead and living clergymen/imams/sheikhs of all types are being deified by polytheists who believe in mortals; i.e., they deify and sanctify human beings.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Omar Ali: So, I should say that I believe in the prophethood of Muhammad and not in Muhammad as a person so as not to unwittingly deify him. I find this hard to fathom. How can one make clear distinction between Muhammad the mortal man and the messenger who conveyed the message? The boundary is too hazy, I suppose. Of course, I disbelieve in Sunnite myths which make Muhammad an immortal deity living inside a tomb beneath people's feet to review deeds of the so-called Umma. I do not understand the fuss about the pronouns (with) or (in) within the usage of the verb (believe) in the Quranic text! Is it in or with in 7:158 regarding Muhammad? What about 4:159 regarding Jesus?
(2) Mr. Abdel-Rahman Al-Moqaddam: I use my mind and I resort always to logic; this article by my dear Dr. Mansour is clear enough for me and it contains Quranic proofs supporting his viewpoint which is understood very easily. May the Lord God bless and reward you, Dr. Mansour.
(3) Mr. Ben Levante: I do believe that the Lord God has sent His Divine Messages or Books via persons who have certain traits like honesty and integrity so that the others would believe in the Divine Message carried by this or that person; this entails the belief in the fact that such persons are prophets/messengers sent by the Lord God and inspired by Him. Of course, we should respect Muhammad as a prophet and a messenger but the focus of one's faith must be in the Quranic Message only. This is clear enough. Yet, in 4:136 and 5:111, we see that the belief is in messengers and not with them I think; this contradicts the viewpoint by Dr. Mansour. What matters most is never to deify prophets and messengers like the manner we see in the religious life of Sunnites who assume that there are the so-called hadiths which are allegedly inspired to Muhammad in parallel with the Quranic Revelation. I know the view of Dr. Mansour that Islam in terms of behavior means peaceful demeanor with everyone and in terms of faith it means monotheism and sincere piety and devotion, and yet, let us be reminded that Islam as a religion is a way/path of life: it contains certain acts of worship, certain tenets found in the Quran,...etc. I disagree with the view of Dr. Mansour that any peaceful person is a Muslim. Yet, I do believe that all Muslims, in order to deserve such appellation, must adhere to peaceful behavior all the time.
(4) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: Thank you, all our dear Quranists, for your useful comments which will guide our person to find more topics for the other articles of this series which will be grouped in a book form later on.
(5) Ms. Nihad Haddad: All of us must bear this Quranic verse in mind: "Muhammad is no more than a messenger. Messengers have passed on before him. If he dies or gets killed, will you turn on your heels?..." (3:144). Muhammad was a mortal prophet chosen by Allah to convey His Quranic Message; Muhammad was a mortal man, like all prophets and messengers before him, who got married, had martial sex, fathered children, consumed food, defecated, urinated, sold and purchased goods, and made some mistakes as per what the Quran describes...etc. The only immortalized words of Muhammad are found in the Quranic verses containing the expressions (say:........) and (they ask you about......say:.......). We must not love Muhammad too much, or else, we may fall into the trap of polytheism by turning him into a god besides Allah; this grave sin is committed by Christians who deify Jesus. We must bear in mind that Muhammad is dead; he was not an immortal deity; the center of Islam is the Quran and not any person(s) at all. May God bless and reward you, Dr. Mansour, for your insights; your school of Quranist thought, God willing, will never be lost or fade away.
(6) Mr. Amin Refaat: I feel that this great article will be the first among a series of articles which will form a very important new book among the valuable books/gems of Dr. Mansour; may the Lord God bless and protect you, Dr. Mansour.
(7) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We thank Ms. Nihad Haddad and Mr. Amin Refaat (his guess is absolutely right); we thank all those who have written any comments. We admire the points made by Ms. Nihad Haddad; they will be the focus of a coming article of this book. All of us, Quranists of Arab origin, must bear in mind that we have emerged in polytheistic environment which makes Muhammad a deity which is the center for its religious life; we strive using the Quran to get rid of such polytheism from our minds; this is why we have chosen a shocking title and a subtitle for this book: (Those Who Believe In Muhammad Are Disbelievers: The Belief Is Not In Muhammad But In What Has Descended Upon Muhammad). We hope very much that the Muhammadans will wake up and heed the warning. May the Lord God come to our help and aid.
(8) Mr. Saeed Ali: The minds of Quran-believing monotheists sense the majesty and grandeur of the Lord God as they watch scientific TV shows about the universe and outer space and also when they remember the Quranic verses which contain miraculous scientific indications (see the book titled "The West and the Miraculous Scientific Indications in the Holy Quran", in English, found on this link: http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=151). Hence, deification and sanctification must be dedicated 100% to the Dominant Lord God without any partners or associates; it is sheer polytheism if even less than 1% of deification and sanctification would be dedicated to Muhammad or any other mortal(s). All messengers and prophets, including Muhammad and Jesus, were mortal men; i.e., they died. They conveyed the Divine Message of Allah; this was their mission. Each of them died after completing this mission. The Lord God preserves His Last Message, the Holy Quran, until the end of days. This is why the Quran, and not Muhammad, is the center of faith for true Muslims.
PART II: Pondering on the Quranic verses 7:156-158
PART II: Ponderings on the Quranic verses 7:156-158
An important preliminary note:
When we write in the title above that (Those Who Believe In Muhammad Are Disbelievers), our intention is to introduce peaceful religious reform by showing the Quranic facts about what Islam/monotheism is and what disbelief/polytheism is. Our writings aim at advising the polytheistic Muhammadans or the so-called Umma of Muhammad so that they would one day turn themselves into Muslims/monotheists who never deify mortals, tombs, and things/items. This is the intention of our declaring those who believe in Muhammad (i.e., they deify him) as disbelievers. In contrast, when the Muhammadans, in their wicked religions of Satan, declare others as infidels or disbelievers, this means seeking to put them to death a heretics/apostates.
About the context of the Quranic verses 7:156-158:
1- It is about a dialog between the Lord God and Moses at Mount Al-Tur, in Sinai, Egypt, after the majority of the Israelites worshiped the calf statue made of gold; Moses said and did the following: "And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment. When the tremor shook them, he said, “My Lord, had You willed, You could have destroyed them before, and me too. Will you destroy us for what the fools among us have done? This is but Your test - with it You misguide whomever You will, and guide whomever You will. You are our Ally, so forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are the Best of Forgivers.” “And inscribe for us goodness in this world, and in the Hereafter. We have turned to You.”..." (7:155-156). This is the reply from the Lord God: "...He said, “My torment - I inflict it upon whomever I will, but My mercy encompasses all things. I will specify it for those who act righteously and perform Zakat, and those who believe in Our Verses.” Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet of the Gentiles, whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel in their possession. He directs them to righteousness, and deters them from vice, and allows for them all good things, and prohibits for them evils, and unloads the burdens and the shackles that are upon them. Those who believe in him, and respect him, and support him, and follow the Light that came down with him - these are the successful." (7:156-157); the Lord God has addressed the following directly to Muhammad: "Say, “O people, I am the Messenger of God to you all - He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no God but He. He gives life and causes death.” So believe in God and His Messenger, the Prophet of the Gentiles, who believes in God and His words. And follow him, that you may be guided." (7:158). This is a prediction, given to Moses, or bringing glad tidings of the Gospel and the Quran and the advent of the last prophet, Muhammad, who is also the prophet of the Gentiles.
2- We ponder in the points below the Quranic verses 7:156-158 in relation to our topic: The belief is not in Muhammad but in what has descended upon Muhammad: those who believe in Muhammad are disbelievers.
Firstly: the Islamic/monotheistic belief means to believe in the Quran and not in the mortal human being named Muhammad:
1- This is about the Lord God's mercy: "...My mercy encompasses all things. I will specify it for those who act righteously and perform Zakat, and those who believe in Our Verses.” Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet of the Gentiles..." (7:156-157). Following the prophet of the Gentiles does not mean to believe in him, or to deify him, but to believe in his being a mortal prophet/messenger sent by the Lord God and to believe in the Messenger; i.e., the Divine Message or the Holy Quran revealed to him. thus, we are not to deify the mortal prophet Muhammad; we are to follow the Light given to him; i.e., the Quran itself. Thus, following Muhammad is not to deify him as a person but to follow the Quranic Message he conveyed.
2- This is about the true monotheists who deserve the mercy of the Lord God: "...Those who believe in him, and respect him, and support him, and follow the Light that came down with him - these are the successful." (7:157). This does NOT mean to believe in the mortal prophet, Muhammad, as a deity, but to believe in the Messenger, or the Quranic verses, he read and conveyed; we are to believe in the fact that the Lord God has sent Muhammad as a prophet/messenger with a Celestial Book: the Quran; we are to follow and to believe in the Quranic Light; we are not to believe in Muhammad (i.e., we are not to deify Muhammad) but in the Quran itself as the Messenger or Message granted by the Lord God to Muhammad.
3- "...So believe in God and His Messenger, the Prophet of the Gentiles, who believes in God and His words. And follow him, that you may be guided." (7:158). The divine command here is not about to believe in Muhammad or to deify him; the term (Messenger) here refers only to the Quran itself; as for Muhammad, monotheist should believe in the Quranic fact that he was a mortal messenger/prophet, and the last one of them, sent by the Lord God with the sole mission of conveying the Holy Quran to humanity; we are to believe in his prophethood or his ministry as a prophet; this is a Quranic fact; he is the prophet of the Gentiles. This means that the local context of 7:156-158 mentions three times the belief in his prophethood and in the Quran and NOT in him as a person or a human being so as not to deify mortals since this polytheism contradicts the Quranic call for monotheism.
4- Of course, the thematic contexts in the entirety of the Quranic text entails volumes/tomes of ponderings; more details about this topic will be mentioned in the following sections of this book which you are reading now. Yet, we briefly mention here that the Quranic notion of (following) does not mean to follow Muhammad as a person or an individual but to follow exclusively the Divine Message he conveyed. This fact is proven by the Quranic verses which indicate that Muhammad as a mortal human being made mistakes; he was not infallible; the Lord God has rebuked and reproached him in some Quranic verses. Thus, within Islam, (following) means only to follow the Quran itself; this is the only thing conveyed to us by Muhammad. We provide brief details in the points below.
4/1: Muhammad was a mortal prophet and he has been commanded in the Quran to follow only the Quranic Message. The Lord God has commanded him to announce the following.
4/1/1: "Say, “I do not say to you that I possess the treasuries of God, nor do I know the future, nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I only follow what is inspired to me.” Say, “Are the blind and the seeing alike? Do you not think?”" (6:50); we see here that the Lord God has commanded Muhammad to announce the fact that he never knew the future or the unseen and that he followed nothing but the Quran itself.
4/1/2: "If you do not produce a miracle for them, they say, “Why don’t you improvise one.” Say, “I only follow what is inspired to me from my Lord.” These are insights from your Lord, and guidance, and mercy, for a people who believe." (7:203); again, we find the assertion that Muhammad never followed anything but the Quran itself.
4/1/3: "And when Our Clear Verses are read to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this, or change it.” Say, “It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the torment of a Terrible Day.”" (10:15); the Lord God has commanded Muhammad here to declare his following the Quran only which has been rejected by most of his contemporaries. The deniers of the Quran rejected it and demanded another Quranic text which would suit their whims and desires; in the same manner, the Muhammadans have rejected the Quran in order to follow the devilish narratives/hadiths based on their whims and desires; such hadiths are attributed to an imaginary immortal deity they have fashioned and named as (Muhammad).
4/1/4: "Say, “I am not different from the other messengers; and I do not know what will be done with me, or with you. I only follow what is inspired in me, and I am only a clear warner.”" (46:9); within the assertion that he did not differ from the previous messengers and that he could not predict the future, we notice the assertion that he never followed anything but the Quran revealed to him.
4/2: The Quranic command to follow the Book (i.e., the Quran itself) is addressed to all monotheists. The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran.
4/2/1: "This is My Path, straight, so follow it. And do not follow the other paths, lest they divert you from His Path. All this He has enjoined upon you, that you may adhere to piety." (6:153); this is the last one among the Quranic Ten Commandments; it is a command regarding following the Book, i.e. the Quran itself or God's Word, and nothing else besides it; there is a prohibition here regarding following anything else. There is no in-between stance or medial position here; one cannot vacillate between polytheism and monotheism or choose a middle course between them.
4/2/2: "This too is a blessed Book that We revealed; so follow it, and be righteous, that you may receive mercy." (6:155). To follow the Quran, which is the Divine, Celestial Book of the Lord God, means to obtain mercy.
4/2/3: "A Book was revealed to you, so let there be no anxiety in your heart because of it. You are to warn with it - and a reminder for the believers. Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord, and do not follow other allies besides Him. Little you remember." (7:2-3). Within this command about following the Divine Book, which is the Quran, as well as the prohibition of following anything else, there is no in-between stance or medial position here; one cannot vacillate between polytheism and monotheism or choose a middle course between them.
4/3: To follow the Holy Quran means to follow the Divine Book, the Messenger, and the Insights; the Lord God has commanded Muhammad to announce the following: "Say, “This is my way; I invite to God, based on clear knowledge - I and whoever follows me. Glory be to God; and I am not of the polytheists.”" (12:108). We notice here the equality between Muhammad and the believers who followed him in following the Quran itself and nothing else besides it.
Secondly: about the Quranic phrase: "...whom they find mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel in their possession..." (7:157):
This means that the People of the Book knew beforehand about the descent of the Quran before it was revealed to Muhammad and centuries before the birth of Muhammad; the Scripture given to Moses mentions Muhammad and so do the other Celestial Books revealed to the other messengers/prophets of the Israelites such as the Torah and the Gospel. These predictions are about the Quran itself and not about Muhammad as a person or as a deified being at all. We talk about three features regarding that topic.
The first feature: the People of the Book in Arabia knew that the Quran is the Truth granted by the Lord God:
1- "...Those who were given the Book know that it is the Truth from their Lord; and God is not unaware of what they do. Even if you were to bring to those who were given the Book every proof...and if you were to follow their desires, after the knowledge that has come to you, you would be in that case one of the unjust ones. Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it as they recognize their own children. But some of them conceal the Truth while they know. The Truth is from your Lord, so do not be a skeptic." (2:144-147); they knew the Book (i.e., the Quran) as much as they knew their offspring.
2- "Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it as they recognize their own children; but those who have lost their souls do not believe." (6:20); they knew the Book (i.e., the Quran) as much as they knew their offspring.
3- "It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. The Honest Spirit came down with it. Upon your heart, that you may be one of the warners. In a clear Arabic tongue. And it is in the scriptures of the ancients. Is it not a sign for them that the knowledgeable ones among the Israelites recognized it?" (26:192-197); after mentioning several descriptions of the Quran, this verse in particular is about the Gentiles, or Arabs, who never received any Divine Scriptures/Books before: "Is it not a sign for them that the knowledgeable ones among the Israelites recognized it?" (261:197). The pronoun (it) here refers only to the Quran itself.
The second feature: the monotheists among the People of the Book in Arabia believed in the Quran itself and not in Muhammad as a person; i.e., they did not deify him at all; he was, to them, a mortal prophet like the ones who preceded him:
1- "With the Truth We sent it down, and with the Truth it descended. We sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner. A Quran which We unfolded gradually, that you may read to the people over time. And We revealed it in stages. Say, “Believe in it, or do not believe.” Those who were given knowledge before it, when it is read to them, they fall to their chins, prostrating. And they say, “Glory to our Lord. The promise of our Lord is fulfilled.” And they fall to their chins, weeping, and it adds to their humility." (17:105-109). This context is about the Quran itself and how the knowledgeable monotheists among the People of the Book believed in the Quran and prostrated in the similar manner done by their ancestors with Moses at Mount Al-Tur in Sinai, Egypt, when Mount Al-Tur was made to suspend upon their heads and they were frightened: "And when We suspended the Mount over them, as if it was an umbrella, and they thought it would fall on them..." (7:171). The monotheist among the People of the Book in Arabia remembered this moment and the prediction of the Lord God about the descent of the Quran. The Quranic context 17:105-109 does not mention if those believers among the People of the Book in Arabia saw Muhammad himself reading the Quran to them or not; this reading might have been done by someone else among the Arab preachers of the Truth among the early believers during Muhammad's lifetime. Even if Muhammad was the one who read the Quran to them, they believed in the Quran and not in Muhammad who read it to them. They never deified Muhammad; they prostrated to the Lord God and not to Muhammad.
2- "And when they hear what was revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears, as they recognize the Truth in it. They say, “Our Lord, we have believed, so count us among the witnesses.” “And why should we not believe in God, and in the Truth that has come to us, and hope that our Lord will include us among the righteous people?” God will reward them for what they say - Gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they will stay forever. Such is the reward of the righteous." (5:83-85). In this Quranic context, some believers heard the Quranic verses revealed to Muhammad whether these Quranic verses were read to them by Muhammad or by someone else, and they declared their belief in the Quranic Truth and in the Lord God and NOT in Muhammad.
The third feature: in the Quran, the Lord God calls the People of the Book to believe in the Quran and not in Muhammad; the Quran asserts and endorses the Scriptures they had in their possession:
1- "And believe in what I revealed, confirming what is with you; and do not be the first to deny it; and do not exchange My Verses for a small price; and be conscious of Me within piety." (2:41).
2- "O you who were given the Book! Believe in what We sent down, confirming what you have..." (4:47).
The Lord God says the following about those among the People of the Book who disbelieved in the Quran.
1- "And when it is said to them, “Believe in what God has revealed,” they say, “We believe in what was revealed to us,” and they reject anything beyond that, although it is the Truth which confirms what they have..." (2:91).
2- "And when there came to them a messenger from God, confirming what they had, a faction of those who were given the Book threw the Book of God behind their backs, as if they do not know." (2:101).
Thirdly: about the Quranic phrase "Say, “O people, I am the Messenger of God to you all - He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no God but He. He gives life and causes death.”..." (7:158):
1- This is about the universality of the Holy Quran as the Last Message of Islam/monotheism from the Lord God to all humanity and to jinn as well from the era of Muhammad until the advent of the Hour within the last human generation on Planet Earth; the Quran endorses and asserts all of the previous Divine, Celestial Scriptures; it even provides a Criterion regarding religious disputes of the Israelites: "This Quran relates to the Israelites most of what they differ about." (27:76).
2- As a mortal prophet and as a person and a human being, Muhammad was limited and confined by his era and region; he lived and died in Arabia within a certain number of years in the 7th century A.D.; during his lifetime, the Lord God has addressed him directly here about the fact that he will die and so will his foes: "You will die, and they will die. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be quarrelling before your Lord." (39:30-31). This means Muhammad was a mortal prophet and his death was inevitable as is the case with all human beings: "Muhammad is no more than a messenger. Messengers have passed on before him. If he dies or gets killed, will you turn on your heels? He who turns on his heels will not harm God in any way. And God will reward the appreciative. No soul can die except by God’s leave, at a predetermined time..." (3:144-145); "We did not grant immortality to any human being before you. Should you die, are they then the immortal? Every soul will taste death. We burden you with adversity and prosperity - a test. And to Us you will be returned." (21:34-35). This refutes the polytheistic claims of the Muhammadans who assume that Muhammad is alive beneath their feet in a tomb/mausoleum in Yathreb. Bring limited to a certain time and space, Muhammad never knew about other nations in; e.g., China, Japan, and the two Americas.
3- Accordingly, the Quran itself, and not Muhammad, is described as follows.
3/1: It is a mercy for those who follow it from the era of Muhammad and in all regions and eras until the end of days: "Indeed, in this is a Message for people who worship. We did not send you except as mercy to the humankind." (21:106-107).
3/2: It is a warning for the worlds as well: "Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His servant, to be a warning to humanity. He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, who took to Himself no son, who never had a partner in His kingship; who created everything and determined its measure." (25:1-2).
4- The Quranic phrase "Say, “O people, I am the Messenger of God to you all - He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no God but He. He gives life and causes death.”..." (7:158) is a Quranic fact asserted further here: "We sent you only universally to all people, a herald and warner, but most people do not know." (34:28); Muhammad was, of course, sent with the Holy Quran from the Dominant Lord God.
5- Moreover, the Quran is also the Divine Message addressed to the jinn; some of the jinn were sent by the Lord God to hear the Quran read by him and NOT to hear about Muhammad as about his news as a person; Muhammad could never see jinn because they are ethereal beings; those believers among the jinn warned the other jinn using the Quran itself.
5/1: "Say, “It was revealed to me that a band of jinn listened in, and said, ‘We have heard a wondrous Quran. It leads to guidance, so we have believed in it; and we will never associate anyone with our Lord. And Exalted is the Grandeur of our Lord - He never had a mate, nor a child." (72:1-3); "And when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. Whoever believes in his Lord fears neither loss, nor burden." (72:13).
5/2: "Recall when We dispatched towards you a number of jinn, to listen to the Quran. When they came in its presence, they said, “Pay attention!” Then, when it was concluded, they rushed to their people, warning them. They said, “O our people, we have heard a Book, sent down after Moses, confirming what came before it. It guides to the truth, and to a Straight Path. O our people! Answer the caller to God, and believe in Him; and He will forgive you your sins, and will save you from a painful torment.” He who does not answer the caller to God will not escape on earth, and has no allies besides Him. Those are in obvious misguidance." (46:29-32). The underlined phrase means to deify and believe in the Lord God, of course, and not in Muhammad.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Ben Levante: To trust Muhammad is to believe in the message or information he conveyed; to believe with him means to believe in the fact that the Quran he conveyed is God's Word; yet, (to believe in Muhammad) has the same meaning, I think. I don't deify Muhammad or any mortals, of course. I think that the belief in (not with) Muhammad means to believe in his being a prophet/messenger who conveyed a Divine Message and was inspired through Divine Revelation. The difference between Quranists and Wahabi Salafists/Sunnites is that Quranists assert that the only revelation granted to Muhammad is the Quran; the Sunnites assume that their hadiths are part of such revelation. As for the shocking title of this book, I'd like Dr. Mansour to change it because it might be misunderstood by all enemies of Quranism; i.e., they might assume that Dr. Mansour negates the prophethood of Muhammad. I know, of course, Dr. Mansour does not intend that meaning. I may be allowed to insist that the Quranic verbs (believe in) and (believe with) are synonymous.
(2) Dr. Othman M. Ali: People in Arabia obeyed Muhammad's commands of righteousness only if they are linked to the Quranic Divine Commands by the Lord God and nothing else. I infer this from here: "O prophet! If believing women come to you, pledging allegiance to you, on condition that they will not associate anything with God, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor commit perjury as to parenthood, nor disobey you in anything righteous, accept their allegiance and ask God’s forgiveness for them. God is Forgiving and Merciful." (60:12). This means that not all commands of Muhammad as a leader of the Yathreb city-state were obeyed; on the contrary, Quranic commands he uttered were obeyed by true believers at the time. Hence, to believe in the prophethood of Muhammad means to believe in the Quranic Message he conveyed as a messenger of the Lord God.
PART III: The problematic issue for polytheists regarding the fact that the messenger/prophet Muhamm
PART III: The problematic issue for polytheists regarding the fact that the messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being
Introduction:
1- The Muhammadans who deify Muhammad refuse to imagine him as a mortal human being like them. Likewise, Christians who deify Jesus Christ refuse to imagine him as a mortal human being like them. In contrast, monotheists/Muslims (including Quranists) who believe in Allah as the Only Lord God Who has no partners or associates know for sure that both Jesus and Muhammad were mortal prophets; both were human beings like the rest of all humanity.
2- The disbelievers/polytheists among the ancient nations and communities disbelieved in the Celestial Messages granted by the Lord God to His messengers/prophets manly because they refused to believe that fact that such messengers/prophets were mortals like the rest of all human beings; they assumed that messengers/prophets are larger than life or above the level of any human beings!
3- This is problematic issue for polytheists regarding the fact that the messengers/prophets were mortal human beings. We provide more details in the points below.
Firstly: messengers/prophets and sexual movements:
1- The classical Arabic term (Rahz) refers to the movement of the pelvis and the legs during coitus or having sex. During the Abbasid Era, a concubine who knew (in the biblical sense of this verb) tens of men was known for her four lines of poetry about the meaning of sexual love; for such a concubine, lovemaking meant violent, animalistic sex; she employs the term (Rahz) in her poem; here are the lines of her poem (which we hope will not shock very much any virgin readers especially young women):
Love is nothing but bruising kisses and embraces
And two naked bellies rubbing against each other
And violent Rahz causing tears to fill the eyes
And shaking heads, arms, and shoulders with bare hands
We desire to be very frank regarding our topic here; we know that in order for human males to have offspring, they must have sex with human females; this entails having an erection and Rahz so that the penis would move in and out of the female genitalia so that ejaculation would take place by this friction as the seminal fluid helps the movement of semen in order to inseminate the ovum inside the female reproductive system. Of course, the erection of the human penis entails a certain degree of arousal caused by sexual word and foreplay; when it is ready to enter into the female genitalia, coitus or penetration is possible. During penetration and Rahz, both the male and the female human beings lose their self-respect regarding what they say and how they move and what they do; they turn into a pair of human animals. This ends after the ejaculation; both return to their normal state of mind. We hope such facts will not shock any of our readers. Yet, the Muhammadans who deify Muhammad will be shocked and enraged when we write the fact that this applies to all human beings including prophets/messengers. Muhammad is no exception to this rule. The Muhammadans cannot imagine their deity as a mortal man who had erections and had sex with his wives and performed Rahz and sexual talking and foreplay with his wives. The Muhammadans can imagine all that being done by their own biological fathers because they do not deify their fathers; yet, it is impossible for them to imagine Muhammad having sex with his wives because they deify him as an immortal god besides Allah! This polytheism of theirs, because they deify Muhammad, drives them to disbelieve in the Quran especially the Quranic facts about the all of the prophets/messengers of the Lord God who were mortal human beings; none of them were deities/gods. This means that they were men who had sex with their wives, in the way described above, like all normal, healthy human males. While addressing Muhammad, the Lord God says the following about all prophets/messengers: "We sent messengers before you, and We assigned for them wives and offspring..." (13:38). This means that all messengers/prophets had wives, had sex with their wives, and had children. To imagine that they never knew or touched their spouses is absurd. They had sex with their wives; otherwise, how come that they had progeny? Of course, the spouses of messengers/prophets did not conceive such children miraculously without having sex. Coitus, penetration, and Rahz occurred between the messengers/prophets and their wives so that the procreation of offspring would take place. This fact is indisputable and undeniable. This is how Noah had a son whose story is mentioned in the Quran; this is how Abraham begot his first-born son Ishmael and his second son Isaac. Moses got married and his wife bore him children. Zachariah wished he would have a son because his wife was barren; eventually, he had a son named John. Such progeny is mentioned in the Quran and was conceived by having sex in the abovementioned manner. Those readers whose hearts still negate such a fact are still deifying messengers/prophets of the Lord God; this is sheer polytheism.
2- What applied to all messengers/prophets applied also to the last one of them; namely, Muhammad. Of course, we know from the Quran that Muhammad had several wives; he had several daughters and not one daughter; he suffered from his wives; even some Quranic verses (in the Quranic Chapters 33 and 66) have served as a warning to these spouses of Muhammad. Despite his being married, Muhammad admired the beauty of some pretty women among his contemporaries. Let us exemplify this by quoting the following Quranic verses.
2/1: "O prophet! Tell your wives, and your daughters, and the women of the believers, to lengthen their garments. That is more proper, so they will be recognized and not harassed. God is Forgiving and Merciful." (33:59).
2/2: "You may defer any of them you wish, and receive any of them you wish. Should you desire any of those you had deferred, there is no blame on you. This is more proper, so that they will be comforted, and not be grieved, and be content with what you have given each one of them. God knows what is within your hearts. God is Omniscient and Clement." (33:51).
2/3: "Beyond that, no other women are permissible for you, nor can you exchange them for other wives, even if you admire their beauty, except those you already have. God is Watchful over all things." (33:52). Hence, the monotheistic believers in God who never deify any allies/partners/associates besides Him know for sure that Muhammad had sex with his wives like all normal male human beings. This entails sexual talking and foreplay, embracing, kissing, touching,...etc., in the manner described above by the Abbasid concubine who chanted the lines of poetry about the nature of sex she loved, in order for erection, penetration, coitus, and Rahz to happen. This is as per the following Quranic verse: "Your women are cultivation for you; so approach your cultivation whenever you like, and send ahead for yourselves. And fear God, and know that you will meet Him. And give good news to the believers." (2:223). This (sending ahead) indicates sexual foreplay. This applies to all married males when they sexually approach their female spouses; this applies to all human beings including prophets/messengers. Yet, the Muhammadans who deify their imaginary immortal deity whom they named as (Muhammad) cannot think or imagine their deity having sex.
3- Thus, by their deifying Muhammad, they make him appear as if he were a god/deity besides, and equal to, Allah. Only the Lord God is described in the following manner in the Holy Quran:
3/1: "Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.”" (112:1-4)
3/2: "Originator of the heavens and the earth - how can He have a son when He never had a companion? He created all things, and He has knowledge of all things." (6:101).
3/3: "And Exalted is the Grandeur of our Lord – He is truly our Lord; He never had a mate, nor a child." (71:3).
Thus, after pondering in the above points, monotheists should discard justifications and myths propagated by polytheists about deifying the Lord God's messengers/prophets. Let us get straight to the point we address to monotheists/Quranists: Do any of our readers feel ashamed or shocked to imagine Prophet Muhammad having sex with his wives like any normal human males? If any of our readers feel 1% or less of sentiments of shock or shame as they read these lines, this means their hearts are still sick with remnants of polytheism which consists of deifying mortals.
Secondly: messengers/prophets and consumption of food resulting in defecating, urinating, burping, and farting:
1- Of course, the consumption of food items by human beings is the biggest indicator showing how all human and non-human creatures need Allah their Creator. This is among the main differences between the creatures and the Lord God the Creator. The Lord Allah says the following in the Holy Quran.
1/1: "I did not create the jinn and the humans except to worship Me. I need no livelihood from them, nor do I need them to feed Me." (51:56-57). The Lord God provides livelihood and food for human beings and never the vice versa. The Lord God is never in need of food.
1/2: This is about those who deify and worship mortals and things/items such as tombs of the so-called saints/allies and also the living self-deified saints/allies: "Say, “Shall I take for myself an ally other than God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds and is not fed?” Say, “I am instructed to be the first of those who submit.” And do not be among the polytheists." (6:14). The Lord God provides livelihood and food for human beings and never the vice versa. The Lord God is never in need of food.
Of course, the story of food with creatures has three stages within which all human and non-human creatures need their Lord God.
The first stage: getting food items:
1- Food is the basic provision or livelihood that sustains living creatures and keeps them alive; they have to seek and to get food items.
1/1: "It is He who made the earth manageable for you, so travel its regions, and eat of His provisions. To Him is the Resurrection." (67:15).
1/2: The Lord God guarantees food/provisions for all living creatures: "There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance depends on God. And He knows where it lives and where it rests. Everything is in a Clear Book." (11:6).
1/3: "How many a creature there is that does not carry its provision? God provides for them, and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knowledgeable." (29:60). Of course, all human beings seek provisions, sustenance and food items; as for some non-human creatures which cannot move, the Lord God provides food for them.
The second stage: consuming and digesting food items:
1- Sadly, some defiant, arrogant human beings imagine that they do not need their Lord God in this second stage of eating and digestion; they wrongly assume that it is their own bodily ability which helps within both processes; they tend to forget that the Lord God controls this stage as well; the Lord God says the following about Himself: "...He feeds and is not fed..." (6:14); Abraham said the following about the Lord God: "He who created me, and guides me. He who feeds me, and waters me." (26:78-79).
2- Human beings tend to feel the ease and comfort of the processes of eating, drinking, and burping; they tend to forget that such ease is according to the Divine Will of the Dominant Lord God. It happens so easily that beverages and food items might infiltrate into the human trachea, causing suffocation and death. The Dominant Lord God controls the respiratory and digestive systems inside the human body. Could our readers imagine a fishbone or some beans obstructing their gullets? The Dominant Lord God is the Only One Who controls the human body's stomach, esophagus, pancreas, intestines, kidneys, liver,...etc. All the systems of the human body work as per the Divine Will of the Dominant Lord God and not as per the human will. Of course, many human beings suffer many diseases linked to the digestive system.
The third stage: defecating and urinating:
1- The problem of the heedless human beings is that they imagine that they do not need their Lord God in this third stage of defecating and urinating after consumption of food items and water/beverages. The processes of defecating and urinating are done by other systems in the human body and they entail the gravitation of the earth. Could our readers imagine their being unable to urinate/defecate? Could they imagine suffering constipation? Could they imagine having to undergo a surgical operation to be able to defecate/urinate, before feces and urine would poison their bodies, if their bodily systems do not function properly? This possibility may occur to anyone. May the Lord God save us and spare us such pains and ordeals. Many people suffer incontinence/diarrhea and/or constipation; some people whose kidneys never function properly cannot urinate. Such painful tests or ordeals are divine warnings so that the heedless people may take heed and pay attention to the Afterlife. The Dominant Lord God controls our bodies and our vital organs whether some people believe this fact or not and whether they like it or not: "...There is not a creature but He holds it by the forelock..." (11:56).
2- Many people feel disgusted by the processes of defecating, urinating, and farting; they feel disgusted by their own farts, urine, and feces. They forget that such processes provide comfort to the human body; without these processes, death is bound to occur sooner or later. Yet, such feelings of disgust are not surprising.
3- What can be really surprising is that the Muhammadans who deify Muhammad cannot imagine or assume that Muhammad was a mortal human being who defecated, urinated, burped, and farted. Likewise, the Christians who deify Jesus cannot imagine or assume that Jesus was a mortal human being who defecated, urinated, burped, and farted. We repeat these words, as we have repeated above some sexual words like (Rahz), in order for our readers to test themselves; if they feel shocked or repulsed and if they cringed, this means that they deify Muhammad, Jesus, and other mortal prophets/messengers. This means that the remnants of the sickness of polytheism are still found in their hearts/souls.
4- The Muhammadans never know that the polytheistic disbelievers among the ancient nations arrogantly and defiantly refused to assume that prophets/messengers are mortal human beings who consume food (and thus they defecated, urinated, burped, and farted)
4/1: The tribe/people of Aad rejected their prophet Hud because they saw him as a mortal human being who consumed food items; they imagined that prophets should have God-like qualities and never eat/defecate. This is about Aad and why they rejected Hud: "But the affluent groups among his people, those who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and We had indulged them in the transient life, said, “This is nothing but a human like you; he eats what you eat, and he drinks what you drink." (23:33).
4/2: The disbelieving polytheists among the Meccan tribe of Qorayish ridiculed Muhammad in the same manner; they rejected him and the Quran he conveyed because he consumed food and moved through marketplaces (and this means that he defecated, urinated, burped, and farted). This is how the Lord God describes their stance: "And they say, “What sort of messenger is this, who eats food, and walks in the marketplaces? If only an angel was sent down with him, to be alongside him a warner.”" (25:7); this is the divine response: "We never sent any messengers before you, but they ate food and walked in the marketplaces..." (25:20). This means all messengers/prophets were mortal human beings who ate, defecated, urinated, burped, and farted. Those who refuse this fact are irrational polytheists who deify mortals.
5- Likewise, the Christians who deify Jesus and Mary adamantly refuse to imagine that both Jesus and Mary consumed food and that both of them defecated, urinated, burped, and farted. This fact is mentioned by the Lord God here: "The Messiah son of Mary was only a messenger, before whom other messengers had passed away, and his mother was a woman of truth. They both used to eat food. Note how We make clear the Verses to them; then note how deluded they are. Say, “Do you worship, besides God, what has no power to harm or benefit you?” But God: He is the Hearer, the Knower." (5:75-76). This means all messengers/prophets were mortal human beings who ate, defecated, urinated, burped, and farted. Those who refuse this fact are irrational polytheists who deify mortals.
Thus, after pondering in the above points, monotheists should discard justifications and myths propagated by polytheists about deifying the Lord God's messengers/prophets. Let us get straight to the point we address to monotheists/Quranists: Do any of our readers feel ashamed or shocked to imagine Prophet Muhammad eating, defecating, urinating, burping, and farting like any normal and healthy human beings? If any of our readers feel 1% or less of sentiments of shock or shame as they read these lines, this means their hearts are still sick with remnants of polytheism which consists of deifying mortals.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Omar Ali: I agree with you, Dr. Mansour, that outside conveying the Quranic Message, Prophet Muhammad was a normal human being like the rest of Adam's descendants. Yet, I disagree with your viewpoint that the Muhammadans assume that Muhammad never defecated or urinated; even in the hadiths-book of Al-Bokhary, there are hadiths about farting, defecation, urination, and purification. Of course, I never believe in any hadiths, esp. sexual hadiths about the Prophet Muhammad's married life; such hadiths are devilish and nonsensical. The Lord God has told the contemporaries of the Prophet Muhammad never to raise their voices in the presence of the Prophet Muhammad as per 49:1, let alone the belief in nonsensical hadiths about his sexual life which must was never known to any person(s) at the time! I cannot bare to think of anyone talking about the sexual life of my own biological father that way. Prophet Muhammad's true character I think, is described in 48:29.
(2) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: Thank you, Mr. Omar Ali. We remind you that we are the very first thinker to expose the contradictory lies and falsehoods authored by Al-Bokhary and his likes about the sexual life of Muhammad. We are well-versed in the topic of false hadiths and refuting them since 1977 until now. We write our Quranist writings to seek to introduce reform for living people of today; we never care about historical figures; we care for reforming the Muhammadans who are polytheists who deify Muhammad in their acts of worship, in their poetry, and even in their songs; they forget that he was a mortal man who defecated, urinated, had sex, had erections, ate food...etc. We intentionally shock readers in the above article so that any polytheists who consider Muhammad as a god would wake up and smell the coffee! One does not deify one's father; it is not right for you to feel offended by the fact that your father, Mr. Omar Ali, and our own father had sex in order to beget children. No one knows about the sexual life of one's parents; similarly, no one should believe in sexual hadiths about Muhammad. This does not mean to negate he had sex; all Quranists must disbelieve in all hadiths in general. Your comment, Mr. Omar Ali, has inspired us with some details which will be discussed in the coming articles of this book.
(3) Mr. Omar Ali: Thank you, Dr. Mansour, for clarifying some points to me. I consider myself as your disciple and you are my favorite tutor. The Sunnites might not be able to imagine their deity named Al-Bokhary having sex, urinating, defecating,...etc. Yet, they believe in false hadiths ascribed to Prophet Muhammad about such natural acts. I'd like you, Dr. Mansour, to write articles about the unspoken-of history of Al-Bokhary.
(4) Mr. Saeed Ali: Some of the prophets/messengers themselves confessed their belief in what they saw and found it hard to believe in the invisible; e.g., as per the Quranic story of Moses, he desired to see God but this is impossible; when the Lord God manifested Himself to the Mount, Moses fainted and he repented upon waking up. Even the Qorayish disbelievers who hated the Quran demanded from Muhammad tangible miracles; they desired to see him ascend into the heavens and have an orchard which would appear suddenly before their eyes! The disbelievers in all eras hated that the messengers sent to them were mortal human beings and desired to have angels as messengers sent to them! The belief is not in mortals but in the Divine Messages they conveyed.
(5) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We thank Mr. Saeed Ali and Mr. Omar Ali; the details in their useful comments will be discussed in other articles of this book. Their useful comments show that Quranist deep ponderings of Quranic verses produce the same results since all of us follow one Quranist methodology of research. May the Lord God bless both gentlemen.
PART IV: The messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being subjected to harm, disease, and dea
PART IV: The messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being subjected to harm, disease, and death
The problematic issue for polytheists regarding the fact that the messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being subjected to harm, disease, and death
Firstly: about harm:
Any human beings are liable to suffer any harms anytime. We provide these Quranic facts about harm.
1- The fashioned false, imaginary gods (e.g., the deities Muhammad, Christ, and Hussein) can never bring to themselves harm or benefit; the Lord God says the following in the Quran.
1/1: "Say, “Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?” Say, “God.” Say, “Have you taken allies besides Him, who have no power to profit or harm even themselves?” Say, “Are the blind and the seeing equal? Or are darkness and Light equal? Or have they assigned to God associates, who created the likes of His creation, so that the creations seemed to them alike? Say, “God is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Dominant.”" (13:16).
1/2: "And yet, instead of Him, they produce for themselves gods that create nothing, but are themselves created; that have no power to harm or benefit themselves; and no power over life, death, or resurrection." (25:3).
Of course, this divine discourse is addressed to all those polytheists who deify mortal, living or dead, human beings; such polytheists include the Shiites who worship and deify Hussein, the Christians who worship and deify Jesus, and the Muhammadans who worship and deify Muhammad.
2- The fashioned false, imaginary gods (e.g., the deities Muhammad, Christ, and Hussein) can never bring any harm or benefit to any people; the Lord God says the following in the Quran.
2/1: "Say, “Do you worship, besides God, what has no power to harm or benefit you?” But God: He is the Hearer, the Knower." (5:76).
2/2: This is about the calf statue of gold carved by Al-Samiri for the misguided Israelites during their exodus: "So he produced for them a calf...And they said, “This is your god, and the god of Moses...” Did they not see that it cannot return a word to them, and has no power to harm them or benefit them?" (20:88-89).
Of course, this divine discourse is addressed to all those polytheists who deify mortal, living or dead, human beings; such polytheists include the Shiites who worship and deify Hussein, the Christians who worship and deify Jesus, and the Muhammadans who worship and deify Muhammad.
3- If the Lord God wants to inflict harm/adversity/ordeal on any human beings as a test, no one among the fashioned false, imaginary gods (e.g., the deities Muhammad, Christ, and Hussein) can stop or remove this harm. Likewise, if the Lord God wants to test any human beings with prosperity/mercy/bounty, no one among the fashioned false, imaginary gods (e.g., the deities Muhammad, Christ, and Hussein) can stop or remove this mercy; the Lord God says the following in the Quran.
3/1: "And if you asked them, “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they would say, “God.” Say, “Have you seen those you pray to instead of God? If God willed any harm for me, can they lift His harm? And if He willed mercy for me, can they hold back His mercy?” Say, “God suffices for me. On Him the reliant rely.”" (39:38).
3/2: This is what the believing man had said to his disbelieving people: "Shall I take other gods instead of Him? If the Dominant Lord desires harm for me, their intercession will not avail me at all, nor will they save me." (36:23).
3/3: This is about the Desert-Arabs who were too unwilling and reluctant to participate in the military self-defense endeavors within the Yathreb city-state: "The Desert-Arabs who remained behind will say to you, “Our belongings and our families have preoccupied us, so ask forgiveness for us.” They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say, “Who can avail you anything against God, if He desires loss for you, or desires gain for you?” In fact, God is Informed of what you do." (48:11).
Of course, this divine discourse is addressed to all those polytheists who deify mortal, living or dead, human beings; such polytheists include the Shiites who worship and deify Hussein, the Christians who worship and deify Jesus, and the Muhammadans who worship and deify Muhammad.
4- Regardless of the degree of disbelief/polytheism of any people, once harm or disease is inflicted on them, they supplicate and seek the aid of the Dominant Lord God within monotheism; yet, once the harm is removed, they return to their former disbelief/polytheism; this applies to the Muhammadans, Christians, and their likes: "When some adversity touches the human being, he prays to his Lord, repenting to Him. But then, when He confers on him a grace of His, he forgets what he was praying for before, and he attributes rivals to God, in order to lead astray from His way. Say, “Enjoy your disbelief for a little while; you will be among the inmates of the Fire.”" (39:8); "When adversity touches the human being, he calls on Us. But then, when We favor him with a blessing from Us, he says, “I have attained this by virtue of my knowledge.” However, it is a test, but most of them do not know." (39:49).
5- During his lifetime in Arabia, Muhammad has been told the following by the Lord God in the Quran.
5/1: "If God touches you with adversity, none can remove it except He. And if He touches you with good - He is Capable of everything." (6:17).
5/2: "If God afflicts you with harm, none can remove it except He. And if He wants good for you, none can repel His grace. He makes it reach whomever He wills of His servants. He is the Forgiver, the Merciful." (10:107).
This means that during his lifetime, Muhammad could never remove harm inflicted upon him because the Lord God Who imposed on him this fate of harm as a test is the Only One Who can remove this harm and can bring benefit or mercy to Muhammad; no mortal creatures can stop or remove any mercy imposed by the Divine Will. This Quranic Discourse by the Lord God is addressing now millions of Muhammadans who perform pilgrims to the Yathreb-mosque mausoleum/abomination attributed to their imaginary deity/god named Muhammad and other mausoleums/abominations of Hussein and other saints/allies or deified mortals.
6- During his lifetime in Arabia, Muhammad has been commanded by the Lord God to announce the fact that he could not bring himself any benefits or remove any harms except by the Divine Will of the Dominant Lord; the same applies to all human beings, of course.
6/1: "Say, “I have no control over any benefit or harm to myself, except as God wills. Had I known the future, I would have acquired much good, and no harm would have touched me. I am only a warner, and a herald of good news to a people who believe.”" (7:188).
6/2: "Say, “I have no power to harm or benefit myself, except as God wills..." (10:49).
Secondly: about disease:
To be afflicted with disease, or sickness/illness/ailment, is the time when human beings show very much, even unwillingly, their human frailty. Abraham said the following about the Lord God: "He who created me and guides me. He who feeds me and waters me. And when I get sick, He heals me." (26:78-80). These words should be pronounced by all monotheists who believe in the Lord God without any deities/gods, partners/associates, or lords/allies besides Him. The Quran contains no indication at all about Muhammad's experiencing any sort of ailment. Yet, it is assumed that like all human beings, Muhammad must have fallen ill and he died as a result. The idea of human beings suffering diseases or illnesses is mentioned in the Quranic context of legislations which include Muhammad and the believer in Arabia and all believers in all later eras. Let us exemplify this in the points below.
1- This is about bodily purification.
1/1: "O you who believe! When you rise to pray, wash your faces and your hands and arms to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and your feet to the ankles. If you had intercourse, then purify yourselves. If you are ill, or travelling, or one of you returns from the toilet, or you had contact with women, and could not find water, then use some clean sand and wipe your faces and hands with it. God does not intend to burden you, but He intends to purify you, and to complete His blessing upon you, that you may be thankful." (5:6).
1/2: "O you who believe! Do not approach prayers while you are absentminded, so that you know what you say; nor after sexual orgasm - unless you are travelling - until you have bathed. If you are sick, or traveling, or one of you comes from the toilet, or you have had intercourse with women, and cannot find water, find clean sand and wipe your faces and your hands with it. God is Pardoning and Forgiving." (4:43).
2- This is about performing prayers in times of fear: "When you are among them, and you stand to lead them in prayers, let a group of them stand with you, and let them hold their weapons. Then, when they have done their prostrations, let them withdraw to the rear, and let another group, that have not prayed yet, come forward and pray with you; and let them take their precautions and their weapons. Those who disbelieve would like you to neglect your weapons and your equipment, so they can attack you in a single assault. You commit no error, if you are hampered by rain or are sick, by putting down your weapons..." (4:102).
3- This is about prolonged extra nightly prayers: "Your Lord knows that you stay up nearly two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, along with a group of those with you. God designed the night and the day. He knows that you are unable to sustain it, so He has pardoned you. So read of the Quran what is possible for you. He knows that some of you may be ill..." (73:20).
4- This is about the fasting of the lunar month of Ramadan: "For a specified number of days. But whoever among you is sick, or on a journey, then a number of other days..." (2:184); "Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was revealed...Whoever of you witnesses the month, shall fast it. But whoever is sick, or on a journey, then a number of other days..." (2:185).
5- This is about pilgrimage to the Kaaba in Mecca: "And carry out the Hajj and the Umrah for God. But if you are prevented, then whatever is feasible of offerings. And do not shave your heads until the offering has reached its destination. Whoever of you is sick, or has an injury of the head, then redemption of fasting, or charity, or worship..." (2:196).
6- This is about excuses and removing hardship/blame from certain categories of people: "There is no blame on the blind, nor any blame on the lame, nor any blame on the sick..." (24:61 + 48:17)
Thirdly: about perishing:
It is synonymous with death, annihilation, and nonexistence. We provide these Quranic facts about perishing.
1- Perishing is ordained for mortal (non-)human creatures, but it never applies to the Living, Dominant Lord God.
1/1: "Everyone upon it is perishing. But will remain the Presence of your Lord, Full of Majesty and Splendor." (55:26-27).
1/2: "And do not invoke with God any other god. There is no god but He. All things perish, except His presence. His is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned." (28:88).
2- The idea of perishing ordained upon all human beings is mentioned in the Quranic context of inheritance legislations: "They ask you for a ruling. Say, “God gives you a ruling concerning the person who has neither parents nor children.” If a man perishes, and leaves no children, and he had a sister, she receives one-half of what he leaves. And he inherits from her if she leaves no children. But if there are two sisters, they receive two-thirds of what he leaves. If the siblings are men and women, the male receives the share of two females.” God makes things clear for you, lest you err. God is Aware of everything." (4:176).
3- The idea of perishing is mentioned several times within the context of Quranic stories about destroying/annihilating the ancient nations of disbelieving sinners. Let us exemplify this by quoting the following Quranic verses.
3/1: "Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them? We had established them on earth more firmly than We established you, and We sent the clouds pouring down abundant rain on them, and We made rivers flow beneath them. But We destroyed them for their sins, and established other generations after them." (6:6).
3/2: "That is because your Lord would not destroy towns for injustice while their inhabitants are unaware." (6:131).
3/3: "Say, “Have you considered? if God's torment descended on you suddenly or gradually, would any be destroyed except the unjust people?”" (6:47).
4- All prophets/messengers of the Lord God died like any human beings. The Lord God says the following in the Quran.
4/1: This is about Christians who deify and worship Jesus and Mary: "They disbelieve those who say, “God is the Christ, the son of Mary.” Say, “Who can prevent God, if He willed, from annihilating the Christ son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone on earth?” To God belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. He creates whatever He wills, and God has power over everything." (5:17). Of course, the meaning of 5:17 applies to the Muhammadans who deify and worship Muhammad.
4/2: The Lord God has commanded Muhammad to announce the following: "Say, “Have you considered? Should God make me perish, and those with me; or else He bestows His mercy on us; who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment?”" (67:28).
4/3: Within the Quranic story of Joseph the sons of Jacob told him the following: "They said, “By God, you will not stop remembering Joseph, until you have ruined your health, or you would perish.”" (12:85).
4/4: We quote the following from the Quranic story of Moses.
4/4/1: "And Moses chose from his people seventy men for Our appointment. When the tremor shook them, he said, “My Lord, had You willed, You could have destroyed them before, and me too. Will you destroy us for what the fools among us have done?..." (7:155).
4/4/2: The believing man who preached his people inside the palace of Moses' Pharaoh said the following about Joseph: "Joseph had come to you with clear revelations, but you continued to doubt what he came to you with. Until, when he perished, you said, “God will never send a messenger after him.” Thus God leads astray the outrageous skeptic." (40:34).
Fourthly: about death:
Death means to be gone or being no longer there; it is nonexistence in the physical world since the body decomposes into dust and the soul returns to the its original place: i.e., the metaphysical Barsakh realm. We provide these Quranic facts about death.
1- The Lord God is the Only One Who is the Living Who never dies: "And put your trust in the Living, the One who never dies; and celebrate His praise. He suffices as the All-Informed Knower of the faults of His servants." (25:58); the Lord Allah has addressed the following to Muhammad: "We did not grant immortality to any human being before you. Should you die, are they then the immortal?" (21:34).
2- During the 1990s, when we lived in Cairo, Egypt, we published an article (in Arabic) in the Cairo-based, independent newspaper Al-Ahrar about pondering this Quranic verse addressed to Muhammad: "You will die, and they will die." (39:30). Here is an excerpt from this article: (... When Muhammad was in Mecca and striving with the Quranic call against the polytheistic Qorayish leaders, the Lord God has revealed to him the following: "You will die, and they will die. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be quarrelling before your Lord." (39:30-31). As we ponder both verses, we see that Muhammad received them when he was in Mecca in his early forties and he lived for some more years in Mecca and then for 10 years in Yathreb, if he really died at the age of 63 as per some historians. Yet, the verses 39:30-31 assert Muhammad's inevitable death, whatever the number of years remaining from his predestined life duration has been at this point in time. Death means that souls leave the human bodies forever and settle in the metaphysical Barsakh level, whereas dead bodies decompose and its elements return to earth from which they were created: "From it We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will bring you out another time." (20:55). The verses 39:30-31 assert the death of his foes, the polytheists who rejected the Quran, and both he and they will argue against one another on the Last Day. Thus, 39:30-31 assert that there is equality in death: both Muhammad and his foes are mortals who have been told in 39:30-31 about their inescapable death. Pondering deeper on this verse: "You will die, and they will die." (39:30), we find that it emphasizes and foregrounds the death of Muhammad more than that of his polytheistic foes. This is not mentioned at random; the Quran, the Lord God's Word, has no room at all for randomness, redundancy, or verbosity. Thus, 39:30 is mentioned by the Omniscient Lord God to refute, in advance, the myths/claims that Muhammad is an immortal deity with divine powers who goes on living inside a mausoleum to 'review' deeds of living human beings and bless and greet them; this is why the Lord God asserts in the Quran the fact that Muhammad was a mortal prophet. This means that the Lord God will never accept the excuses by the polytheists, on the Last Day, who have rejected the Quran, since God informs all people about the Quranic faith tenets to which they should adhere. Those Muhammadans of today would never consider any man among Muhammad's foes as alive in his tomb; yet, they assume that Muhammad is alive underneath their feet within the mausoleum ascribed falsely to him! This is why the verse 39:30 stresses Muhammad's death more than that of his foes, though both died like all mortals who are bound to die eventually. In addition, 39:30 asserts that Muhammad died a natural death; i.e., he was neither murdered/assassinated nor killed in one of the self-defense battles. This verse has predicted to him and to the early believers at the time that he will die in bed. We infer this clearly when we reflect on the Quranic fact that God prevents us from saying that those killed for His sake are dead, because they are alive in the Barsakh Paradise: "And do not say of those who are killed in the cause of God, "Dead." Rather, they are alive, but you do not perceive." (2:154); "Do not consider those killed in the cause of God as dead. In fact, they are alive, at their Lord, well provided for." (3:169). Thus, we are not to describe those killed in the cause of God as dead persons since they are alive at the Barsakh-realm Paradise; we are not to disobey God by contradicting the Quran. At the same time, we are to believe in the Quranic fact that Muhammad is dead; no real believers would contradict the Quran by saying otherwise. We are to hear and obey the Quran wholeheartedly in this point and indeed in all other points. The polytheistic Muhammadans assume in their myths that the earth is not allowed to cause the decomposition of corpses of prophets/messengers and the so-called saints; this contradicts 20:55 which applies to all humanity sans exception. This means that those who deify Muhammad and assume his being alive and imprisoned inside tomb under their feet till the Last Day are insulting him very much; we never approve of such insult addressed by them to Muhammad. Those who cling to such a myth insult Muhammad unawares while assume they honor him; to deify him means to insult him, especially when they claim his corpse is never decomposed. The reason: the Lord God has honored human beings by teaching them to bury the bodies of the dead as decaying corpses are unsightly and one can barely gaze or smell them. This is exemplified in the Quranic story of the two sons of Adam and how the murderer had to bury his brother when taught so by a raven (see 5;30-31). When the Lord God has decided to punish Moses' Pharaoh who went into extremes of disbelief, tyranny, corruption, injustice, and self-deification, He made his corpse remain for onlookers so that people draw lessons from his fate: "Today We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign for those after you. But most people are heedless of Our signs." (10:92). This means earth was not allowed to cause the decomposition of Moses' Pharaoh's corpse; this is not an honor; this is an indication of despise, insult, and humiliation. Hence, those polytheists who assume that Muhammad's corpse never decomposed are making him equal to Pharaoh! This is utter misguidance! We seek refuge in the Lord God against such misguidance! We assert here the fact that when polytheists attribute God-like qualities to the mortal prophet named Muhammad, they insult Muhammad very much unawares, especially that the Quranic Message he conveyed prohibits deifying people as this is sheer polytheism rejected by Islam. Satan deceives the Muhammadans by making them love Muhammad too much; they insult him by deifying him and this rejecting the Quran. Typically, Muhammad has two types of foes/enemies: (1) those in Arabia who hated him during his life time who rejected the Quranic message he delivered and leveled many accusations against him, and (2) those in later eras, after the death of Muhammad who praise and love him too much, to the extend to deifying him; they are polytheists. Both types of enemies share one point; namely, they have abandoned the Quran; this is why Muhammad will disown them on the Resurrection Day: "And the messenger will say, “My Lord, my people have abandoned this Quran.” Likewise, to every prophet We assign enemies from among the criminals. But your Lord suffices as a Guide and Supporter." (25:30-31) ...).
3- We add more points regarding our ponderings inferred from the Quranic context: "You will die, and they will die. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be quarrelling before your Lord." (39:30-31). This context indicates clearly that the Lord God has ordained death on both Muhammad and his foes who were his contemporaries in Arabia; they (i.e., Muhammad and his foes) were mortal human beings who died. This means their corpses decomposed and turned eventually into dust and empty bones; this applies to the corpse of Muhammad and the corpses of his disbelieving foes who denied the Quran. The corpse of Muhammad decomposed and turned into dust and empty bones as is the case with all corpses of all human beings after their death. If this fact seems appalling, shocking, or frightening to some of our readers, this means remnants of the sickness of polytheism (by deifying Muhammad) are still found in their hearts. This is why we repeat the word ''corpse(s)'' here; we aim to knock some sense into their minds so that they acknowledge this fact if they desire to be true monotheists.
4- Human beings who died are perished and annihilated; they no longer exist in the physical realm since their corpses decomposed and turned into dust and empty bones and their souls returned to the metaphysical realm of Barsakh in a state of timelessness and senselessness. This applies to all dead people from Adam's era to the modern era; this applies to all mortal human beings in all eras until the end of days within the last generation of humanity since all of them will surely die; this is inevitable. The Holy Quran tells us clearly and lucidly that the dead ones never return to life in this transient world; the living people cannot feel/sense the dead ones. We would like our readers to ponder deeply on the following Quranic verses.
4/1: "How many a generation have We destroyed before them? Can you feel a single one of them, or hear from them the slightest whisper?" (19:98).
4/2: "There is a ban on the town that We had destroyed - that they will not return." (21:95).
4/3: "Have they not considered how many generations We destroyed before them; and that unto them they will not return?" (36:31).
4/4: "Thamood and Aad denied the Shocker. As for Thamood, they were annihilated by the Overwhelming. And as for Aad; they were annihilated by a furious, roaring wind. He unleashed it upon them for seven nights and eight days, in succession. You could see the people tossed around, as though they were stumps of hollow palm-trees. Can you see any remnant of them?" (69:4-8).
4/5: Living people on earth cannot even sense/feel those who got killed for the sake of Allah; i.e., while serving the cause of the Lord God, who live in the Barsakh Paradise: "And do not say of those who are killed in the cause of God, “Dead.” Rather, they are alive, but you do not perceive." (2:154).
5- Despite these clear Quranic verses, most of the Muhammadans still deify, worship, sanctify, and venerate mausoleums/tombs of the dead and implore them for aid and intercession. This means that the Muhammadans never read or understood these Quranic verses.
5/1: This is about the disbelieving polytheists: "Those they invoke besides God create nothing, but are themselves created. They are dead, not alive; and they do not know when they will be resurrected. Your God is One God. As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are in denial, and they are arrogant." (16:20-22).
5/2: This is addressed to Muhammad by the Lord God: "Those you call upon besides God are servants like you. So call upon them, and let them answer you, if you are truthful. Do they have feet with which they walk? Or do they have hands with which they strike? Or do they have eyes with which they see? Or do they have ears with which they hear? Say, “Call upon your partners, then scheme against me, and do not wait.”" (7:194-195).
Lastly:
The Quranic reminders in the above points are addressed to all living people in our modern era; the Lord God says the following about the Holy Quran itself: "...It is only a reminder, and a Clear Quran. That he may warn whoever is alive, and prove the Word against the disbelievers." (36:69-70).

PART V: The messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being; why could not polytheistic disbelie
PART V: The messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being; why could not polytheistic disbelievers accept this fact?!
The problematic issue for polytheists regarding the fact that the messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human; why could not polytheistic disbelievers accept this fact?
Firstly: the root of the problem:
1- With the death of Muhammad, he is no longer there in our physical world; this applies to all dead people; it is impossible that they would return to this world; this applies to Adam until the last living human being who will die in the last human generation before the Hour. These facts are rejected by those who worship and deify the dead: the Muhammadans, Christians, Buddhists, Baha'is, Yazidis,...etc., and their deified figures are not assumed to be dead but to be immortal gods who control this transient world; such polytheists believe in God but alongside with other gods/partners though the Lord God never share His sovereignty with anyone: "...They have no ally apart from Him, and He shares His Sovereignty with no one." (18:26).
2- In ancient eras, disbelieving polytheists hated to see their prophets/messengers as human beings who consume food and water and walk through marketplaces; they hated the fact that these prophets/messengers were chosen by the Lord God to receive divine revelation. In their sick imagination, they assume that prophets/messengers must be gods/deities or have God-like qualities and abilities to be distinguished from ordinary human beings; they desired that their prophets/messengers would arrive in processions of pomp and splendor surrounded by angels. In all eras, the disbelieving polytheists rejected the divine message and the prophethood because they were granted to mortal human beings like themselves.
3- The affluent, corrupt, unjust biggest criminals in any communities hated to see that the Lord God has chosen someone below their stature and power to be a prophet/messenger; they typically employed their authority and power to scheme and plot against this prophet/messenger and the divine message he conveyed. Yet, their scheming typically turned against themselves: "And thus We set up in every city its biggest criminals, to conspire in it, but they conspire only against themselves, and they do not realize it. When a sign comes to them, they say, “We will not believe unless we are given the like of what was given to God’s messengers.” God knows best where to place His message. Humiliation from God and severe torment will afflict the criminals for their scheming." (6:123-124). This is how the Lord God destroyed the ancient nations of disbelievers and delivered and saved prophets/messengers and the believers with them. Years later each time, polytheism crept into the hearts of the generations of those who loved too much the deceased messenger/prophet as they deified him as well as his contemporaries. This required that the Lord God send a new prophet/messenger who repeats the same monotheistic message like the previous prophets/messengers. This has been repeated in all eras until the last messenger, Muhammad, and the last message: the Quran. The vast majority of Muhammad's people in Arabia rejected and denied him because he was a mortal human being like them; their stances and words are a repetition of those of the disbelievers of ancient eras. As per the Quran, Muhammad asserted to them that he was a human being, and they denied him because of that and plotted and schemed against him. their schemes turned against them eventually. Within later generations after the death of Muhammad, disbelief/polytheism has infiltrated into the hearts of most people; they deified Muhammad and imagined him to be a grand deity who controls the physical world after his death while his capital is his Yathreb mausoleum! The Muhammadans perform pilgrimage to this abomination known as the Yathreb-mosque mausoleum where they venerate, implore, and supplicate to their imaginary deity made by them as the grand intercessor on the Last Day whose decrees are irrevocable and who can change God's decrees!
Secondly: denying the ancient prophets/messengers by the previous disbelievers because those prophets/messengers were human beings:
1- The Lord God says the following in the Quran.
1/1: "Nothing prevented the people from believing, when guidance has come to them, except that they said, “Did God send a human messenger?”" (17:94); this means that the only reason for their never following the guidance is that the Lord God has sent a mortal human being as a messenger.
1/2: "Has the news not reached you, of those who disbelieved before? They tasted the ill consequences of their conduct, and a painful torment awaits them. That is because their messengers came to them with clear explanations, but they said, “Are human beings going to guide us?” So they disbelieved and turned away. But God is in no need. God is Independent and Praiseworthy." (64:5-6); this means all disbeliever/polytheists in the ancient nations expressed the same protest out of arrogance.
2- Despite the differences in eras and regions, we find in the Quran the same, almost identical, dialogue that took place between messengers/prophets and their disbelieving peoples. This is summarized here: "Their messengers said, “Is there any doubt about God, Maker of the heavens and the earth? He calls you to forgive you your sins, and to defer you until a stated term.” They said, “You are only humans like us; you want to turn us away from what our ancestors worshiped; so bring us a clear proof.” Their messengers said to them, “We are only humans like you, but God favors whomever He wills from among His servants. We cannot possibly show you any proof, except by leave of God. In God let the faithful put their trust.”" (14:10-11).
3- This is exemplified in the Quranic stories of ancient nations and their prophets/messengers.
3/1: The affluent, corrupt, unjust ones among the people of Noah said the following about Noah: "But the notables of his people, who disbelieved, said, “This is nothing but a human being like you, who wants to gain superiority over you. Had God willed, He would have sent down angels. We never heard of this from our forefathers of old." (23:24). This means they accused Noah of pretending to be a prophet so that he would gain superiority over them; those polytheists believed in God but they desired that angels, and not mortal human beings, would be sent to them; they cling to the myths of their polytheistic forefathers.
3/2: The affluent, corrupt, unjust ones among the tribe of Aad said the following about Hud and warned others against evident loss if they followed a mortal human being like them: "But the dignitaries of his people, those who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and We had indulged them in the present life, said, “This is nothing but a human like you; he eats what you eat, and he drinks what you drink. If you obey a human being like yourselves, then you will be losers." (23:33-34).
3/3: The tribe of Thamood said the following to Saleh: "You are nothing but a human being like us. So bring us a miracle, if you are truthful." (26:154).
3/4: The tribe of Madian said the following to Shuaib: "And you are nothing but a human being like us; and we think that you are a liar." (26:186).
3/5: The polytheists of this unidentified town believed in the Dominant Lord God, but they rejected and denied the three messengers sent by Him: "And cite for them the parable of the landlords of the town - when the messengers came to it. We sent them two messengers, but they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third. They said, “We are messengers to you.” They said, “You are nothing but human beings like us, and the Dominant Lord did not send down anything; you are only lying.”" (36:13-15).
3/6: The people of Moses' Pharaoh had an extra reason to reject Moses and Aaron apart from their both being mortal human beings; this reason was that the Israelites worshiped and submitted to Pharaoh and his people: "They said, “Are we to believe with two mortal human beings like us, and their people are our worshipers?”" (23:47).
Thirdly: the disbelieving Arabs denied Muhammad because he was a mortal human being:
1- When Abraham was rebuilding the Kaaba in Mecca along with his first-born son, Ishmael, he supplicated to the Lord God that the descendants of Ishmael (who settled in Mecca) would include a messenger among the Meccans: "Our Lord, and raise up among them a messenger, of themselves, who will read to them Your Verses, and teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. You are the Almighty, the Wise.”" (2:129). The Dominant Lord answered the prayers of Abraham; He sent the Arab Gentiles an Arab messenger from among them: Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdul-Mutalib Ibn Abd-Manaf. "It is He who sent among the Gentiles a messenger from themselves; reading His Verses to them, and purifying them, and teaching them the Book and wisdom; they were in obvious misguidance before that." (62:2).
2- The Lord God has commanded Muhammad to announce to his people his being a mortal human being like them who received divine revelation from Allah.
2/1: "Say, “I am only a human being like you, being inspired that your God is One God. Whoever hopes to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and never associate anyone with the worship of his Lord.”" (18:110).
2/2: "Say, “I am only a human being like you; it is inspired in me that your God is One God. So be upright towards Him, and seek forgiveness from Him.” And woe to the polytheists." (41:6).
This means that Muhammad had a human nature, with its frailty...etc., like his contemporaries and he was not larger than life or above the level of human beings; he was merely chosen by the Lord God as a messenger from among the Arab Gentiles.
3- The disbelieving polytheists among the Arabs repeated the stances and words of the ancient disbelievers/polytheists.
3/1: Those Arabs protested against Muhammad and denied/rejected the fact that their messenger was a mortal human being like them: "...“Is this anything but a mortal human being like you? Will you take to sorcery, with open-eyes?”" (21:3).
3/2: The Arabs disliked and cringed at the idea that the messenger/prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being like them.
3/2/1: "They marveled that a warner has come to them from among them. The disbelievers say, “This is something strange." (50:2).
3/2/2: "Is it a wonder to the people that We inspired a man from among them: “Warn people, and give good news to those who believe that they are on a sound footing with their Lord”? The disbelievers said, “This is a manifest sorcerer.”" (10:2).
3/2/3: "And they marveled that a warner has come to them from among them. The disbelievers said, “This is a lying magician.” Did he turn all the gods into one God? This is something strange.”" (38:4-5).
4- Arrogance and envy are the motives behind such a stance.
4/1: The affluent, corrupt, unjust masters refused to acknowledge the fact that the Lord God has chosen a messenger, outside their circle of rich, great, powerful men, to be distinguished among their people; they felt that this messenger was superior to them: "And thus We set up in every city its biggest criminals, to conspire in it, but they conspire only against themselves, and they do not realize it. When a sign comes to them, they say, “We will not believe unless we are given the like of what was given to God’s messengers.” God knows best where to place His message. Humiliation from God and severe torment will afflict the criminals for their scheming." (6:123-124).
4/2: Thamood said the following about Saleh: "Thamood rejected the warnings. They said, “Are we to follow one of us, a human being? We would then go astray, and end up in Hell. Was the message given to him, out of all of us? In fact, he is a wicked liar.”" (54:23-25).
4/3: The same stance of disbelieving polytheists was repeated in Arabia during Muhammad's lifetime.
4/3/1: They repeated the words of sinners among Noah's people: "The notables among them announced: “Go on, and hold fast to your gods. This is something planned. We never heard of this in the former faith. This is nothing but a fabrication." (38:6-7).
4/3/2: They repeated the words of sinners among the Thamood tribe: "Was the message sent down to him, out of all of us?” In fact, they are doubtful of My Reminder. In fact, they have not yet tasted My torment." (38:8).
4/3/3: They looked down upon Muhammad; they saw he was not a great man as per their own criteria of greatness: "They also said, “If only this Quran was sent down to a man of greatness from the two cities.”" (43:31); this is the Lord God's response to them: "Is it they who allocate the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have allocated their livelihood in this life, and We elevated some of them in rank above others, that some of them would take others in service. But your Lord’s mercy is better than what they amass." (43:32).
4/3/4: Such arrogance and envy made many of the People of the Book in Arabia, who recognized the Quran in the same way they recognize their children, reject and disbelieve in the Quran.
4/3/4/1: "Many of the People of the Book wish to turn you back into unbelievers after you have believed, out of envy on their part, after the Truth has become clear to them. But pardon and overlook, until God brings His command. God has power over all things." (2:109).
4/3/4/2: "Or do they envy the people for what God has given them of His grace? We have given the family of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and We have given them a great kingdom." (4:54).
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Saeed Ali: Of course, Muhammad the last messenger of the Lord God died after delivering the entire Quranic Message; the Lord God is the Everlasting and He never dies; He never accepts the faith and deeds of polytheists who deify Muhammad or any other mortal(s). Some prophets/messengers were born in an environment of polytheism (e.g., Abraham and Muhammad) and some in an environment of faith (e.g., Moses, Aaron, Joseph, and Jesus). Muhammad in Arabia was sent in a time when most Arabian people were polytheistic disbelievers and ignoramuses; yet, there were some knowledgeable people among the People of the Book at the time who recognized the Quran as the Lord God's Word; Muhammad was keen on guiding most of his contemporaries using the Quran; once the Quranic Revelation was completed, he died after fulfilling his mission of delivering it. The center of the Islamic faith is not Muhammad but the Quran sent down to Muhammad.
(2) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: Thank you, our dear son Mr. Saeed Ali. We, as a Quranist thinker, are the one who has defended Muhammad by asserting his being a mortal prophet and not a deity; he was a human being and he died and he will be judged on the Last Day like all human beings. We follow and preach with the Quran he read, preached, and followed; Muhammad was harmed/insulted because of his preaching the Quran; we hope to join him and other prophets, messengers, and witnesses inside Paradise; these are the best companions of Paradise as per the Quran.
PART VI: How the contemporaries of Muhammad dealt with him as a human being during his lifetime
PART VI: How the contemporaries of Muhammad dealt with him as a human being during his lifetime
Firstly: believers and disbelievers in Arabia called Prophet Muhammad by his first name:
1- Severe punishments wait for those who dare address the general guide of the 'Islamic' republic of Iran by his first name (i.e., Ali Ibn Jawad) instead of honorifics like Ayatollah and Rohollah. The same applies to those who dare address head-sheikh of Al-Azhar by his first name (i.e., Ahmad Al-Tayyib) instead of the honorific title the Grand Imam. Even ordinary, low-rank Azharite sheikhs or scholars who wear the Azharite uniform arrogantly refuse to be addressed by their first names; they insist on being addressed by (the reverend sheikh). The same applies to those who dare address the Wahabi sheikh Al-Qaradawy with his first name (i.e., Youssef) or the Shiite high-rank sheikh Al-Sistani by his first name (i.e., Ali). Likewise, within the different ranks of Christian clergymen in Egypt, from ordinary priests to popes, no one among the Orthodox Christian Copts dare to address them by their first names or their original names given to them before their joining the ranks of clergy and monks. Thus, no one addressed the late Pope Shenouda III with his real name (i.e., Nazeer Gayed Roufael); no one dares to address the current pope, Pope Tawadros II, with his real name (i.e., Waguih Subhy Baqi Suleiman). No Copts in Egypt dare to address ordinary priests by their names; they use the title (our father). Clergymen of all types everywhere invent their own 'holy' titles and honorifics to give the false impression to others that they are above all ordinary people who deify and sanctify such clergy.
2- The disbelievers/polytheists within the ancient nations had their own clergymen as well; they were honest and more frank with themselves; i.e., they deified their clergymen overtly and shamelessly. They considered prophets and messengers as human beings like them; they despised and ridiculed them and accused them of lunacy and sorcery; they called messengers and prophets by their first names. We exemplify this in the points below.
2/1: About the people of Noah:
2/1/1: "They said, “O Noah, you have argued with us, and argued a great deal. Now bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are truthful.”" (11:32).
2/1/2: "They said, “If you do not refrain, O Noah, you will be stoned.”" (26:116).
2/2: About the people of Aad: "They said, “O Hud, you did not bring us any evidence, and we are not about to abandon our gods at your word, and we are not believers in you.”" (11:53).
2/3: About the people of Thamood:
2/3/1: "...“O Saleh, bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are one of the messengers.”" (7:77).
2/3/2: "They said, “O Saleh, we had hopes in you before this. Are you trying to prevent us from worshiping what our parents worship? We are in serious doubt regarding what you are calling us to.”" (11:62).
2/4: About the people of Abraham: "They said, “Are you the one who did this to our gods, O Abraham?”" (21:62).
2/5: About the people of Lot: "They said, “Unless you refrain, O Lot, you will be expelled.”" (26:167).
2/6: About the people of Madian:
2/6/1: "They said, “O Shuaib, does your prayer command you that we abandon what our ancestors worshiped, or doing with our wealth what we want?...”" (11:87).
2/6/2: "They said, “O Shuaib, we do not understand much of what you say, and we see that you are weak among us. Were it not for your tribe, we would have stoned you. You are of no value to us.”" (11:91).
2/6/3: "The arrogant elite among his people said, “O Shuaib, We will evict you from our town, along with those who believe with you, unless you return to our religion.” He said, “Even if we are unwilling?”" (7:88).
3- True, monotheistic believers have no clergymen of any type. Muhammad was the messenger and prophet who conveyed the Quranic Message while being a mortal human being like them and among them. This is why during his lifetime in Arabia, they called Muhammad by his first name without any honorifics or titles; we provide more examples in the following points.
3/1: The Israelites called Moses by his first name; they never addressed him by saying (our 'master' Moses!):
3/1/1: "...“O Moses, we cannot endure one kind of food, so call to your Lord to produce for us of what the earth grows: of its herbs, and its cucumbers, and its garlic, and its lentils, and its onions.”..." (2:61).
3/1/2: "They said, “O Moses, there are tyrannical people in it; we will not enter it until they leave it. If they leave it, we will be entering.”" (5:22).
3/1/3: "They said, “O Moses, we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are in it. So go ahead, you and your Lord, and fight. We are staying right here.”" (5:24).
3/1/4: "And recall that you said, “O Moses, we will not believe in you unless we see God plainly.” Thereupon the thunderbolt struck you, as you looked on." (2:55).
3/1/5: "And We delivered the Israelites across the sea. And when they came upon a people who were devoted to some statues of theirs, they said, “O Moses, make for us a god, as they have gods.” He said, “You are truly an ignorant people.”" (7:138).
3/2: The same applies to Jesus; his disciples called him by his first name without any honorifics or titles: "“And when the disciples said, 'O Jesus son of Mary, is your Lord able to bring down for us a table from heaven?' He said, 'Fear God within piety, if you are believers.'“" (5:112).
Secondly: how the believers dealt with Muhammad during his lifetime:
After the early believers among the immigrants settled in Yathreb, thus forming the very first Muslim society, the Quranic Chapter 24 was revealed with certain social legislations and certain prohibitions and penalties.
1- Social legislations include to seek prior permission before entering into any houses.
1/1: "O you who believe! Do not enter homes other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted their occupants. That is better for you, that you may be aware. And if you find no one in them, do not enter them until you are given permission. And if it is said to you, “Turn back,” then turn back. That is more proper for you. God is aware of what you do. There is no blame on you for entering uninhabited houses, in which are belongings of yours. God knows what you reveal and what you conceal." (24:27-29).
1/2: "O you who believe! Permission must be requested by your servants and those of you who have not reached puberty. On three occasions: before the Dawn Prayer, and at noon when you change your clothes, and after the Evening Prayer. These are three occasions of privacy for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to intermingle with one another. God thus clarifies the Verses for you. God is Knowledgeable and Wise. When the children among you reach puberty, they must ask permission, as those before them asked permission. God thus clarifies His Verses for you. God is Knowledgeable and Wise." (24:58-59).
2- Social legislations, never known to Arabs before, include the following ones about how to be civilized about hosting or having guests: "There is no blame on the blind, nor any blame on the lame, nor any blame on the sick, nor on yourselves for eating at your homes, or your fathers’ homes, or your mothers’ homes, or your brothers’ homes, or your sisters’ homes, or the homes of your paternal uncles, or the homes of your paternal aunts, or the homes of your maternal uncles, or the homes of your maternal aunts, or those whose keys you own, or the homes of your friends. You commit no wrong by eating together or separately. But when you enter any home, greet one another with a greeting from God, blessed and good. God thus explains the Verses for you, so that you may understand." (24:61).
3- When some believing Arabs violated these social legislations and entered into the chambers/houses of Muhammad without getting prior permission, the following verse was revealed: "O you who believe! Do not enter the homes of the prophet, unless you are given permission to come for a meal; and do not wait for its preparation. And when you are invited, go in. And when you have eaten, disperse, without lingering for conversation. This irritates the prophet, and he shies away from you, but God does not shy away from the truth. And when you ask his wives for something, ask them from behind a screen; that is purer for your hearts and their hearts. You must never offend the Messenger of God, nor must you ever marry his wives after him, for that would be an enormity with God." (33:53).
4- The case of Desert-Arabs was worse; they apparently never heard about these Quranic social legislations once they were revealed; some of them were uncouth Bedouins who called Muhammad so loudly and raised their voices too much while addressing them; this is why the following verses were revealed: "O you who believe! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the prophet, and do not speak loudly to him, as you speak loudly to one another, lest your works be in vain without you realizing. Those who lower their voices before God’s messenger - those are they whose hearts God has tested for piety. They will have forgiveness and a great reward. Those who call you from behind the chambers - most of them do not understand. Had they remained patient until you came out to them, it would have been better for them. But God is Forgiving and Merciful." (49:2-5).
5- We provide more details about legislations within some Meccan verses.
5/1: Descriptions of how a Muslim society should be are mentioned in several verses including the following one: "And those who respond to their Lord, and pray regularly, and conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and give of what We have provided them." (42:38). Shura consultation here is emphasized; it means direct democracy. This is an Islamic religious duty; citizens manage their political (and other) affairs themselves (i.e., even without a parliament of representatives); this Shura prevents the emergence of enthroned tyrannical rulers and affluent, corrupt retinue members who monopolize power and wealth; more details about this can be found in our book about the Islamic Shura consultation.
5/2: Once the Muslim society was formed in the Yathreb city-state, calls in the name of the messenger, Muhammad, were made regularly to hold councils of Shura for all (fe)male, (non)hypocritical, and (non)believing citizens equally; some people were lax about attending such councils or general assemblies of direct democracy. The enormity of such sin and the danger it brought made the Lord God warn them here: "The believers are those who believe in God and His Messenger, and when they are with him for a matter of common interest, they do not leave until they have asked him for permission. Those who ask your permission are those who believe in God and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission to attend to some affair of theirs, give permission to any of them you wish, and ask God’s forgiveness for them. God is Forgiving and Merciful. Do not address the messenger in the same manner you address one another. God knows those of you who slip away using flimsy excuses. So let those who oppose his orders beware, lest an ordeal strikes them, or a painful torment befalls them." (24:62-63). Of course, the term (His Messenger) here is the Quran itself when pronounced by Muhammad to his contemporaries.
5/3: Within these Shura consultation councils, the human character of Muhammad manifested itself; he was no deity at all; despite his receiving the Quranic revelation, he has been commanded, in the Quran, to adhere to Shura; this means his authority as the leader of the Yathreb city-state was not derived from the divine revelation (a claim professed by self-deified tyrannical pharaohs who ascribe their authority directly to God to 'justify' their injustices and crimes) but from the nation/citizens; this means the nation is the only source of authorities in Islam. Muhammad would have lost his authority as a leader if the Yathreb city-state citizens would have deserted him; this is why the Lord God has addressed the following to Muhammad: "It is by of grace from God that you were gentle with them. Had you been harsh, hardhearted, they would have dispersed from around you. So pardon them, and ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in the conduct of affairs. And when you make a decision, put your trust in God; God loves the trusting." (3:159).
5/4: Before Muhammad and the immigrants reached Yathreb, the controlling and ruling circles there were the affluent polytheists; they became the hypocrites later on; they resented losing their authority power, and stature once Muhammad and the immigrants settled in Yathreb; they hated the Shura direct democracy that distributed political influence and authority equally among the Yathreb city-state citizens. Muhammad listened to all of them during the Shura councils; the furious hypocrites hated the new state of affairs in Yathreb. Their reactions were as follows.
5/4/1: They mockingly accused Muhammad of being (all ears); Muhammad remained silent and never defended himself or refuted this accusation; the Lord God is the One Who defended Muhammad here: "And among them are those who insult the prophet, and say, “He is all ears.” Say, “He listens for your own good. He believes in God, and trusts the believers, and is mercy for those of you who believe.” Those who insult the Messenger of God will have a painful torment." (9:61).
5/4/2: They opposed and disrupted the Shura councils by holding many meetings of conspiring, ridiculing, and backbiting; this is one of the several Quranic verses about this historical fact: "Have you noted those who were prohibited from conspiring secretly, but then reverted to what they were prohibited from? They conspire to commit sin, and aggression, and defiance of the Messenger. And when they come to you, they greet you with a greeting that God never greeted you with. And they say within themselves, “Why does God not punish us for what we say?” Hell is enough for them. They will roast in it. What a miserable destiny!" (58:8).
6- Many Quranic verses assert that Muhammad was a mortal human being; yet he and his wives had their own special Quranic legislations; they were temporary ones regarding this particular time and place as they will never be applied after the death of these human beings (i.e., Muhammad and his wives). These legislations are mentioned in the Quranic Chapter 33 or more specifically in the following verses: 33:6, 33:28-34, and 33:50-53.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Omar Ali: The words of my dear Dr. Mansour enter one's heart and mind so easily; may the Lord God bless him; this article reminds me of an incident when an old sermonizer inside a mosque was furious and quarreled with a man for addressing him as (Hajji) or pilgrim; he insisted he was a retired university professor and he had a high-rank position in the army before his retirement and therefore should be addressed by the title (Dr.). As for 49:1-3, the command was not to raise their voices in the presence of Muhammad as a prophet and to lower it when addressing Muhammad as a messenger; since the (messenger) means Muhammad uttering the Quran and sometimes it refers to the Quran itself as the (Messenger), this means believers of all eras must lower one's voice or remain silent when they hear the Quranic verses being read. Yet, people typically who hear the Quran read by sheikhs in the microphones raise their voices with talking and they praise the sin of singing the Quran in 'melodious' voices; they do so usually within praising their imaginary deity Muhammad. The Quranic verse 29:2 debunks the silly Sunnite hadith of (deeds are judged by intentions).
(2) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We like very much the comment written by you, Mr. Omar Ali; we would like you to write more articles on our website so that we and others draw benefit from your ideas. May the Lord God bless you.
PART VII: How the mortal prophet and human being, Muhammad, was ridiculed by disbelievers
PART VII: How the mortal prophet and human being, Muhammad, was ridiculed by disbelievers
Introduction:
1- The believers in the Messenger (i.e., the Quran) know that Muhammad, the messenger and prophet, was a mortal human being who needed the Creator like the rest of humanity; they also know that the Omniscient Lord God has chosen Muhammad to deliver the Quranic Message; He knows best where to place His Divine Messages. Thus, the believers in Arabia during the lifetime of Muhammad respected and obeyed him, as a messenger, regarding the Quranic verses he conveyed from the Lord God. After the death of Muhammad, the Divine Book or the Quran is the Messenger remaining among human beings until the end of days when the Hour takes place. To adhere to the Lord God means to adhere to His Messenger or His Word: the Quran itself: "And how could you disbelieve, when God’s Verses are being read to you, and among you is His Messenger? Whoever adheres to God has been guided to a Straight Path." (3:101).
2- The disbelievers who denied the Quran during Muhammad's lifetime hated and denied Muhammad because he was a mortal prophet; they resented the fact that a mortal human being like them would be distinguished by being chosen for prophethood by the Lord God; they felt they deserved such an honor instead of Muhammad; they desired to receive Divine Revelation instead of him: "And thus We set up in every city its leading criminals, to conspire in it, but they conspire only against themselves, and they do not realize it. When a sign comes to them, they say, “We will not believe unless we are given the like of what was given to God’s messengers.” God knows best where to place His message. Humiliation from God and severe torment will afflict the criminals for their scheming." (6:123-124). They envied the mortal prophet, Muhammad, for being chosen by Allah as His messenger; this drove them to mock and ridicule Muhammad.
3- We provide some details in the points below.
Firstly: mocking and ridiculing messengers/prophets of the ancient nations:
1- These Quranic verses are about the generality of the Lord God's messengers/prophets being ridiculed by their tribes/peoples.
1/1: "Alas for the servants. No messenger ever came to them, but they ridiculed him." (36:30).
1/2: "We sent others before you, to the former communities. But no messenger came to them, but they ridiculed him." (15:10-11).
1/3: "How many a prophet did We send to the ancients? No messenger came to them, but they ridiculed him." (43:6-7).
2- These Quranic verses are about the outcome of their ridicule.
2/1: "There will appear to them the evils of their deeds, and they will be surrounded by what they used to ridicule." (39:48).
2/2: "When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they rejoiced in the knowledge they had, and the very things they used to ridicule besieged them." (40:83).
3- This is exemplified in detail within some Quranic stories about some prophets/messengers.
3/1: The people of Noah ridiculed him while he was building the Ark: "As he was building the ark, whenever some of his people passed by him, they ridiculed him. He said, “If you ridicule us, we will ridicule you, just as you ridicule.” “You will surely know upon whom will come a torment that will abase him, and upon whom will fall a lasting torment.”" (11:38-39).
3/2: The tribe of Madian ridiculed Shuaib: "They said, “O Shuaib, does your prayers command you that we abandon what our ancestors worshiped, or doing with our wealth what we want? You are the one who is intelligent and wise.”" (11:87).
3/3: Moses' Pharaoh's people had the typical Egyptian nature of mockery, sarcasm, and ridicule.
3/3/1: They laughed to mock the miracles performed by Moses: "But when he showed them Our signs, they started laughing at them." (43:47).
3/3/2: Pharaoh held a conference to ridicule Moses: "Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying, “O my people, do I not own the Kingdom of Egypt, and these rivers flow beneath me? Do you not see? Am I not better than this miserable wretch, who can barely express himself? Why are bracelets of gold not dropped on him, or they angels came with him in procession?”" (43:51-53).
4- Despite the fact that the Lord God has chosen His messengers/prophets from among the best human beings in terms of reasoning mind, deep knowledge, and the highest moralistic level, the disbelievers and deniers accused them of being insane.
4/1: Noah's people accused him of being mad: "...They rejected Our servant, and said, “Crazy,”..." (54:9).
4/2: Pharaoh mocked Moses and accused him of being crazy.
4/2/1: "...“This messenger of yours, who is sent to you, is crazy.”" (26:27).
4/2/2: "...and said, “A sorcerer or a madman.”" (51:39).
4- The Lord God has told Muhammad this generality: "Likewise, no messenger came to those before them, but they said, “A sorcerer or a madman.”" (51:52).
Secondly: the disbelievers in Arabia ridiculed Muhammad:
1- There are Quranic verses which assert the torment/punishment inflicted on disbelievers among ancient nations when they ridiculed their messengers/prophets. The Lord God has addressed the following to Muhammad.
1/1: "Messengers before you were also ridiculed, but those who jeered were surrounded by what they had ridiculed." (21:41).
1/2: "Messengers before you were ridiculed, but I granted the disbelievers respite, and then I seized them. What a punishment it was!" (13:32).
2- The Lord God has commanded the Arab deniers to roam the earth to see the fate and the remnants/ruins of those ridiculers among the ancient nations who were smitten by the Lord God.
2/1: "Messengers before you were ridiculed, but those who mocked them became besieged by what they ridiculed. Say, “Travel the earth and observe the final fate of the deniers.”" (6:10-11).
2/2: "Have they not travelled the earth and seen how those before them ended up? They were more powerful than them, and they cultivated the land and developed it more than they developed it, and their messengers came to them with clear signs. God would never wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves. Then, evil was the end of those who committed evil. That is because they rejected God’s Verses and used to ridicule them." (30:9-10).
2/3: "Have they not journeyed through the land, and seen the outcome for those before them? They were more numerous than they, and had greater power and influence in the land. But what they had achieved availed them nothing. When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they rejoiced in the knowledge they had, and the very things they used to ridicule besieged them. Then, when they witnessed Our might, they said, “We believe in God alone, and we reject what we used to associate with Him.” But their faith could not help them once they witnessed Our might. This has been God’s way of dealing with His servants. And there and then the disbelievers lost." (40:82-85).
2/4: This is about the tribe of Aad: "We had empowered them in the same way as We empowered you; and We gave them the hearing, and the sight, and the minds. But neither their hearing, nor their sight, nor their minds availed them in any way. That is because they disregarded the Verses of God; and so they became surrounded by what they used to ridicule." (46:26).
3- Those who ridiculed Muhammad among the Arabs were punished; the Lord God has told the following to Muhammad: "We are enough for you against the mockers." (15:95).
Thirdly: types of ridicule and mockery addressed by disbelievers to Muhammad:
1- Mocking Muhammad as he walked through the streets.
1/1: "When those who disbelieve see you, they treat you only with ridicule: “Is this the one who mentions your gods?” And they reject the mention of the Dominant Lord." (21:36).
1/2: "And when they see you, they take you for nothing but mockery: “Is this the one God sent as a messenger?”" (25:41).
2- Accusing Muhammad of being a madman because he conveyed the Quran which is the Bounty of the Dominant Lord.
2/1: "So remind by the Bounty of your Lord; you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman." (52:29).
2/2: "By the Bounty of your Lord, you are not insane." (68:2).
2/3: "Those who disbelieve almost stab you with their glances when they hear the message, and say, “He is crazy!" (68:51).
2/4: "And said, “Are we to abandon our gods for a mad poet?”" (37:36).
2/5: "But they turned away from him, and said, “A crazy teacher!”" (44:14).
3- Demanding from Muhammad to make angels descend upon them instead of the Quran.
3/1: Within mockery, they demanded from Muhammad to make them able to see angels; the response is that this is impossible; seeing angels means death (i.e., the angels of death) and angels will be seen in the Hereafter on the Last Day; this means utter loss for the deniers and ridiculers of the Quran; they follow the footsteps of ridiculers of the divine messages among the ancient nations: "And they said, “O you who received the message, you are insane.” Why do you not bring us the angels, if you are truthful?” We do not send the angels down except with reason, and they will not be held back. Surely We revealed the Message, and We will surely preserve it. We sent others before you, to the former communities. But no messenger came to them, but they ridiculed him." (15:6-11).
3/2: In response to their demanding to see angels, the Lord God has told them about sending angels with torment on the Last Day.
3/2/1: "We do not send the angels down except with reason, and they will not be held back." (15:8). When deniers and disbelievers see angels of death and angels inside Hell, their inevitable fate is sealed.
3/2/2: "Those who do not expect to meet Us say, “If only the angels were sent down to us, or we could see our Lord.” They have grown arrogant within themselves, and have become excessively defiant. On the Day when they see the angels - there will be no good news for sinners on that Day; and they will say, “A protective refuge.” We will proceed to the works they did, and will turn them into scattered dust. The companions of Paradise on that Day will be better lodged, and more fairly accommodated. The Day when the sky is cleft with clouds, and the angels are sent down in streams. On that Day, true sovereignty will belong to the Merciful, and it will be a difficult Day for the disbelievers. On that Day, the wrongdoer will bite his hands, and say, “If only I had followed the way with the Messenger. Oh, woe to me; I wish I never took so-and-so for a friend. He led me away from the Message after it had come to me; for Satan has always been a betrayer of man.”" (25:21-29).
3/2/3: "Are they waiting for anything but for the angels to come to them, or for your Lord to arrive, or for some of your Lord’s signs to come? On the Day when some of your Lord’s signs come, no soul will benefit from its faith unless it had believed previously, or had earned goodness through its faith. Say, “Wait, we too are waiting.”" (6:158).
3/3: Even if an angel would be sent as a messenger, it will take the human form of a man with no difference between this angel and Muhammad: "Had We made him an angel, We would have made him a man and dressed him in the same garments of men." (6:9).
3/4: It is a bad habit of the ancient nations; they ridicule the divine messages and then are punished/tormented because of such ridicule: "Are they but waiting for the angels to come to them, or for the command of your Lord to arrive? Those before them did likewise. God did not wrong them, but they used to wrong their own souls. So the evils of their deeds assailed them, and what they used to ridicule engulfed them." (16:33-34).
4- Demanding to see miracles and angels.
4/1: "And they say, “What sort of messenger is this, who eats food, and walks in the marketplaces? If only an angel was sent down with him, to be alongside him a warner.” Or, “If only a treasure was dropped on him.” Or, “If only he had a garden from which he eats.” The unjust ones also say, “You are following but a man under spell.”" (25:7-8).
4/2: The angels, as ethereal beings, are not seen by the human eye because their vibrational levels differ from those of earthly creatures: "And they said, “We will not believe in you unless you make a spring burst from the ground for us. Or you have a garden of palms and vines; then cause rivers to gush pouring through them. Or make the sky fall on us in pieces, as you claim, or bring God and the angels before us. Or you possess a house of gold. Or you ascend into the sky. Even then, we will not believe in your ascension, unless you bring down for us a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. Am I anything but a human messenger?” Nothing prevented the people from believing, when guidance has come to them, except that they said, “Did God send a human messenger?” Say, “If there were angels on earth, walking around in peace, We would have sent down to them from heaven an angel messenger.”" (17:90-95).
5- The Lord God shows in the Quran that it was no use to bring them miracles because the reason for their demanding them is ridicule and mockery; this is why it was impossible that they would be guided.
5/1: This is in response of their demanding a tangible book descending from heaven: "Had We sent down upon you a book on paper, and they had touched it with their hands, those who disbelieve would have said, “This is nothing but plain magic.”" (6:7).
5/2: Even if they ascend into the heavens, they will never believe: "Even if We opened for them a gateway into the sky, and they began to ascend through it. They would still say, “Our eyes are hallucinating; in fact, we are people bewitched.”" (15:14-15).
5/3: Even if miracles would be sent to them, they will never believe unless forced by the Divine Will of the Dominant Lord God: "Even if We sent down the angels to them, and the dead spoke to them, and We gathered all things before them, they still would not believe, unless God wills; but most of them are ignorant." (6:111).
5/4: The above applies to the ancient nations.
5/4/1: This is about the Arabs who ridiculed Muhammad and the Quran: "And they said, “A jumble of dreams,” and, “He made it up,” and, “He is a poet,” “let him bring us a sign, like those sent to the ancients.”" (21:5); this is about the disbelievers among the ancient nations: "None of the towns We destroyed before them had believed. Will they, then, believe?" (21:6).
5/4/2: This is about not sending miracles/signs anymore; rejecting them means to insult Allah and this brought torment inflicted on deniers; even the tribe of Thamood slaughtered the she-camel which was a miracle sent to them by Allah because they ridiculed the divine message: "Nothing prevents Us from sending miraculous signs, except that the ancients called them lies. We gave Thamood the she-camel, a visible sign, but they were unjust people who denied it. We do not send the signs except to instill reverence." (17:59).
Fourthly: ridiculing the Quran itself:
1- The disbelievers held meetings to ridicule the Quran; Muhammad and the believers were prohibited to attend such meetings; this prohibition is repeated as some believers attended such meetings again: "When you encounter those who gossip about Our Verses, turn away from them, until they engage in another topic. But should Satan make you forget, do not sit after the recollection with the unjust people." (6:68); "He has revealed to you in the Book that when you hear God’s Verses being rejected, or ridiculed, do not sit with them until they engage in some other subject. Otherwise, you would be like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers, into Hell, altogether." (4:140).
2- When preached and warned by the Quranic verses, they ridiculed them: "But you wonder, and they ridicule. And when reminded, they pay no attention. And when they see a sign, they ridicule." (37:12-14).
3- The hypocrites of Yathreb followed the footsteps of ridiculers: "The hypocrites worry lest a chapter may be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, “Go on mocking; God will bring out what you fear.” If you ask them, they will say, “We were just joking and playing.” Say, “Were you making jokes about God, His Verses, and His Messenger?” Do not apologize. You have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others, because they are criminals." (9:64-66).
Fifthly: the hypocrites ridiculed the early believers:
1- Before Muhammad and the immigrants settled in Yathreb those hypocrites were the powerful masters and affluent rulers; their descendants and assets/money remained more than others because they belonged to the upper affluent classes; this is why they ridiculed the poor ones who contributed to the endeavors of military self-defense: "Those who criticize the believers who give charity voluntarily, and ridicule those who find nothing to give except their own efforts - God ridicules them. They will have a painful torment." (9:79).
2- Within their private meetings, they showed their true sentiments of resentment, animosity, and ridicule: "And when they come across those who believe, they say, “We believe”; but when they are alone with their devils, they say, “We are with you; we were only ridiculing.” It is God who ridicules them, and leaves them bewildered in their transgression." (2:14-15).
3- The Lord God in the Quran prohibits that believers would ridicule other believers: "O you who believe! No people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than they. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than they. Nor shall you slander one another, nor shall you insult one another with names. Evil is the return to wickedness after having attained faith. Whoever does not repent - these are the unjust ones." (49:11).
Lastly: about the fate of ridiculers/mockers in Hell:
1- This is a comparison between their fate and that of the pious believers on the Resurrection Day: "Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they ridicule those who believe. But the righteous ones will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. God provides to whomever He wills without measure." (2:212).
2- The Lord God promises them torment.
2/1: "They denied the truth when it has come to them; but soon will reach them the news of what they used to ridicule." (6:5).
2/2: "And if We postponed their torment until a stated time, they would say, “What holds it back?” On the Day when it reaches them, it will not be averted from them, and what they used to ridicule will besiege them." (11:8).
2/3: "And when it was said, “The promise of God is true, and of the Hour there is no doubt,” you said, “We do not know what the Hour is; we think it is only speculation; we are not convinced.” The evils of what they did will become evident to them, and the very thing they ridiculed will haunt them. And it will be said, “Today We forget you, as you forgot the encounter of this Day of yours. Your abode is the Fire, and there are no supporters for you. That is because you took God’s Verses for a joke, and the worldly life lured you.” So today they will not be brought out of it, and they will not be allowed to repent." (45:32-35).
3- This is about their torment.
3/1: "If those who did wrong owned everything on earth, and the like of it with it, they would redeem themselves with it from the terrible suffering on the Day of Resurrection. But there will appear to them from God what they never anticipated. There will appear to them the evils of their deeds, and they will be surrounded by what they used to ridicule." (39:47-48).
3/2: "It is they who rejected the Verses of their Lord, and the encounter with Him. So their works are in vain. And on the Day of Resurrection, We will consider them of no weight. That is their requital - Hell - on account of their disbelief, and their taking My Verses and My messengers in mockery." (18:105-106).
4- This is about ridiculers who laughed.
4/1: "Those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. And when they passed by them, they would wink at one another. And when they went back to their families, they would go back exulting. And if they saw them, they would say, “These people are lost.” Yet they were not sent as guardians over them. But on that Day, those who believed will laugh at the disbelievers. On luxurious furnishings, looking on. Have the disbelievers been repaid for what they used to do?" (83:29-36).
4/2: "They will say, “Our Lord, our wretchedness prevailed over us, and we were a people astray. Our Lord! Bring us out of this. If we ever returned, we would truly be evil.” He will say, “Be despised therein, and do not speak to Me. There was a group of My servants who would say, `Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us, and have mercy on us; You are the Best of the merciful.' But you made them a target of ridicule, until they made you forget My remembrance; and you used to laugh at them." (23:106-110).
4/3: "Let them laugh a little, and weep much; in recompense for what they used to earn." (9:82).
COMMENTS:
(1) Dr. Hisham Saeedi: I see now that even if angels were sent as messengers to human beings they would have taken the human form and be dressed like people to whom they were sent. Yet, I desire that my dear Dr. Mansour would devote an article later on to discuss the Quranic term (garments). Thank you.
(2) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: Thank you, our brother Dr. Hisham Saeedi; please wait for our article about the Quranic term (garments). May the Lord God come to our help and aid.

11- If a man would stand in a crowded Sufi mosque and screamed at the top of his lungs: (May Allah curse Ahmad Ibn Ali!), no one will care about him. Yet, if this man would scream: (May Allah curse Al-Rifaai!), the masses may beat him to death. Very few people know the fact that the real name of Al-Rifaai is Ahmad Ibn Ali. Tens of thousands among the Muhammadans deify and sanctify the name of the Sufi saint Al-Rifaai. They deify and sanctify a mere fabricated name and never know anything about the real name and the real history of the man who carried that name.
12- If a man would stand in a crowded Sufi mosque in Egypt and screamed at the top of his lungs: (May Allah curse Abdel-Kader Ibn Musa!), no one will care about him. Yet, if this man would scream: (May Allah curse Abdel-Kader Al-Jilani!), the masses may beat him to death. Very few people know the fact that the real name of Al-Jilani is Abdel-Kader Al-Jilani. Tens of thousands among the Muhammadans deify and sanctify the name of the Sufi saint Al-Jilani. They deify and sanctify a mere fabricated name and never know anything about the real name and the real history of the man who carried that name.
13- If a man would stand in a crowded Sufi mosque in Egypt and screamed at the top of his lungs: (May Allah curse Ibrahim Ibn Abdel-Aziz!), no one will care about him. Yet, if this man would scream: (May Allah curse Al-Disouky!), the masses may beat him to death. Very few people know the fact that the real name of Al-Disouky is Ibrahim Ibn Abdel-Aziz. Tens of thousands among the Muhammadans deify and sanctify the name of the Sufi saint Al-Disouky. They deify and sanctify a mere fabricated name and never know anything about the real name and the real history of the man who carried that name.
14- If a man would stand in a crowded Sufi mosque in Alexandria, Egypt, and screamed at the top of his lungs: (May Allah curse Ahmad Ibn Abdel-Kareem!), no one will care about him. Yet, if this man would scream: (May Allah curse Ibn Ataa!), the masses may beat him to death. Very few people know the fact that the real name of Ibn Ataa is Ahmad Ibn Abdel-Kareem. Tens of thousands among the Muhammadans deify and sanctify the name of the Sufi saint Ibn Ataa. They deify and sanctify a mere fabricated name and never know anything about the real name and the real history of the man who carried that name.
Secondly:
Not only there are fabricated 'holy' names which are being worshiped but also 'holy' honorifics, terms, titles, epithets, and descriptions fashioned to qualify dead deified mortals who died without knowing anything about such invented, false descriptions attributed to them which have nothing to do with Islam (i.e., the Quran). Let us exemplify this in the points below.
1- (The Righteous Caliphs) is a title that emerged during the Abbasid Era to describe the four pre-Umayyad Abou Bakr, Omar, Othman, and Ali; this title became sanctified with the passage of time. If a man would curse aloud and in public the so-called 'righteous' caliphs, the masses may kill him despite the fact that those four caliphs died and never knew about this fabricated title.
2- (The Ten Men Promised with Paradise) is a title that emerged during the Abbasid Era; this title became sanctified with the passage of time. Muhammad never knew the future to promise any men that their fate is in Paradise: "Say, “I am not different from the other messengers; and I do not know what will be done with me, or with you..." (46:9). If a man would curse aloud and in public the so-called ten men promised with Paradise, the masses may kill him despite the fact that such ten men died and never knew about this fabricated title.
3- (The Master of Martyrs) is a title fashioned by the Shiites during the Abbasid Era to describe their deity known as Al-Hussein (son of Fatima, daughter of Muhammad); this title became sanctified with the passage of time. The man named as Al-Hussein was murdered before knowing anything about this title. If a man would curse aloud in a Shiite mosque the so-called Master of Martyrs, the Shiite masses may kill him.
4- (The People of the Household) is a title fashioned by Shiites during the Abbasid Era to describe household members of the Shiite deity Ali Ibn Abou Talib; this title became sanctified with the passage of time. This Quranic term (people of the household) refers to any wife/wives inside a house/family. If a man would curse aloud in a Shiite mosque (the People of the Household), the Shiite masses may kill him.
5- (The Companions of Muhammad) is a title that emerged during the Abbasid Era to indicate tens of thousands of people who were, supposedly, the contemporaries of Muhammad in the 7th century Arabia; this title became sanctified with the passage of time. In contrast, the Quranic term companion describes Muhammad who was the companion of disbelievers of Qorayish tribesmen; i.e., he lived in the same era and location with them. Those who deify the so-called companions of Muhammad tend to forget that most of those who lived inside Yathreb alongside with Muhammad were hypocrites who will enter into the depths of Hell in the Hereafter. If a man would curse aloud in public the hypocritical companions of Muhammad, the Sunnite masses may kill him.
6- (Good Ancestors) or Salaf is a title that emerged during the Abbasid Era to indicate tens of thousands of people; this title became sanctified with the passage of time. The Muhammadans who deify the so-called Salaf or good ancestors tend to forget that most of such men committed the heinous crimes (during the Umayyad Era) of the major Arab civil wars, the Karbala massacre, and the siege of Mecca when the Kaaba was burned down, the Al-Harrah battle when Yathreb was pillaged and looted and its women and children were raped for three days. Such struggles were among the Umayyads and (1) the Hashemites, (2) Abdullah Ibn Al-Zubayr, and (3) Al-Khawarij. We refer readers to our books on the Karbala massacre. If a man would curse aloud in public the so-called 'good' ancestors, the Sunnite masses may kill him.
7- (Al-Ashraf) or 'the honorable ones' is a title that emerged during the Abbasid Era to indicate the alleged descendants of Muhammad through the married couple Fatima and Ali; this Shiite title became sanctified with the passage of time. This title is never mentioned in the Quran at all; besides, to claim superiority by means of this silly title contradicts the Quran: "O people! We created you from a male and a female, and made you races and tribes, that you may know one another. The best among you in the sight of God isthe most righteous. God is All-Knowing, Well-Experienced." (49:13). If a man would curse aloud in public the so-called Ashraf, the Shiite masses may kill him.
8- (The Argument of Islam) or Hujja of Islam is the honorific title given to the Sufi author Abou Hamid al-Ghazaly during the Mameluke Era; this Sufi title became sanctified with the passage of time. The only argument of Islam is the Quran itself: God's Word: "That was Our argument which We gave to Abraham against his people. We elevate by degrees whomever We will. Your Lord is Wise and Informed." (6:83); "Say, “To God belongs the conclusive argument. Had He willed, He would have guided you all.”" (6:149). It is ridiculous to imagine Islam without an argument until Al-Ghazaly came along! If a man would criticize this honorific title aloud in public, the Sufi Sunnite masses may kill him.
9- (Sheikh Al-Islam) is an honorific title that emerged during the Mameluke Era; this title became sanctified with the passage of time. It is now employed to describe the head-sheikh of Al-Azhar in Cairo, Egypt. The term sheikh has nothing to do with the Quran or with knowledge of any type. It is an Arabic/Quranic term meaning (an old man). It refers to the senile age; yet, Sunnite clergymen made it a 'holy' title within their hierarchy. Islam has no sheikh(s) or clergy at all; Islam (i.e., the Quran) has its messenger, Muhammad, and that is all!
10- (The Grand Imam) is a Sunnite honorific title fashioned in the 20th century to describe the head-sheikh of Al-Azhar in Cairo, Egypt. This title became sanctified with the passage of time. This blasphemous title shows as if the occupant of such a high-rank post in Egypt has a higher stature than Muhammad himself. No Egyptian man dares to question or cast doubt on this blasphemous honorific title.
11- (Ayatollah) or, literally, ''the sign of Allah'' is a Shiite honorific title fashioned in the 20th century to describe the high-rank Shiite clergy. This title became sanctified with the passage of time. No Iranian man dares to question or cast doubt on this blasphemous honorific title.
12- (Rohollah) or, literally, ''the spirit of Allah'' is a Shiite honorific title fashioned in the 20th century to describe Al-Khomeini. This title became sanctified with the passage of time. No Iranian man dares to question or cast doubt on this blasphemous honorific title.
13- (The Awaited Mehdi) or (the Absent Imam) is a title formed by the Shiites during the Abbasid Era; it became sanctified with the passage of time. Would any man dare to question or cast doubt on this blasphemous title and notion in the presence of Shiites?
14- Abou Hanifa died in 150 A.H. without knowing that centuries after his death, the Sunnites will grant him a title which will place him in a higher stature above Muhammad himself: (the Grandest Imam); this blasphemous title was formed by the Sunnite fiqh scholars of the Hanafy doctrine. Sadly, this honorific title is still used by marriage registrars in Egypt; they typically pronounce the phrase: (this marriage contract is concluded as per the doctrine of the Grandest imam Abou Hanifa Al-Numan). Once we attended a marriage ceremony in Egypt and we protested vociferously against this phrase uttered by the marriage registrar; we, unawares, caused a major trouble at this wedding!
Thirdly:
The Muhammadans follow the footsteps of ancient polytheistic disbelievers and their religions of worshiping names.
1- If anyone would curse aloud the goddesses and gods, mentioned in 71:23, of Noah's polytheistic people, no one would care; if a man were alive during the era of Noah and cursed such names the people of Noah would have killed such a man. This is because they are mere sanctified names worshiped by the people of Noah, for 950 years, alongside their worshiping the Lord God, until such unjust polytheists drowned in the deluge. Noah felt sorry that they worshiped such names of false gods and imaginary deities: "And they said, “Do not give up your gods; do not give up Wadd, nor Souwa, nor Yaghoos, and Yaooq, and Nassr." (71:23).
2- The Lord God delivered Noah and the monotheistic believers with him in the Ark during the flood which drowned the unjust polytheists who worshiped such sanctified names. Yet, worshiping names returned, with a vengeance, within the Aad tribe whose polytheists said the following to Hud: "They said, “Did you come to us to make us worship God alone, and abandon what our ancestors used to worship? Then bring us what you threaten us with, if you are truthful.”" (7:70). Hud responded to them in anger: " He said, “Condemnation and wrath have befallen you from your Lord. Are you arguing with me over names, which you and your ancestors invented, for which God sent down no authority? Just wait; I am waiting with you.”" (7:71).
3- The ancient Egyptians during the Pharaonic Era knew and worshiped Allah as per what we infer from the Quranic stories of Moses and Joseph; yet, they worshiped Allah or God alongside with local/minor and major/main gods and goddesses and each of such deities has its 'holy' name. We quote here how Joseph, in prison, talked to his two cell-mates: "“O My fellow inmates, are diverse gods better, or Allah, the One, the Supreme?” “You do not worship, besides Him, except names you have named, you and your ancestors, for which God has sent down no authority. Judgment belongs to none but God. He has commanded that you worship none but Him. This is the right religion, but most people do not know." (12:39-40).
4- Sadly, the name of a main Pharaonic god, Amon, has infiltrated into the prayers and supplications of Jews, Christians, and Muhammadans alike worldwide, past and present, in the polytheistic term (Amen) which has nothing to do with Islam or with Allah.
5- The Arabs (Gentiles and some Jews) in Arabia, separated from Egypt only by the Red Sea, were influenced by the Pharaonic ancient religion known as Gypt: " Have you not considered those who were given a share of the Book? They believe in Gypt and Taghut, and say of those who disbelieve, “These are better guided on the way than the believers.”" (4:51). The term Gypt is the root of the European terms (Egypt) and (Copts). The influence of the Pharaonic ancient religion or Gypt, is very great in Europe and Arabia in ancient eras; the worship of the trinity of Isis, Osiris, and Horus existed in Arabia; Arabs worshiped the name of the goddess Isis or Uzza in Arabic alongside with the names of the goddesses Al-Lat and Manat; some Jews in Arabia worship the name of the god Osiris or Osir in Arabic; it is still revered now by the polytheistic Muhammadans as the angel of death: "The Jews said, "Osir is the son of God"..." (9:30); "Have you considered Al-Lat and Al-Uzza? And Manat, the third one, the other? Are you to have the males, and He the females? What a bizarre distribution. These are nothing but names, which you have devised, you and your ancestors, for which God sent down no authority. They follow nothing but assumptions, and what the souls desire, even though guidance has come to them from their Lord." (53:19-23).
6- After the drowning of the unjust polytheists among the people of Noah in the deluge, worshiping names stopped temporarily and returned, with a vengeance, within other generations in later eras. This occurred once the revelation of the Holy Quran ended; generations later, worshiping names returned, with a vengeance, as we have explained in the points above. The worst type of worshiping names among the Muhammadans is worshiping the name (Muhammad) itself and ascribing divine or God-like qualities to it. This polytheism will be discussed in the next article of this book.

PART IX: The names of the last prophet in the Holy Quran
PART IX: The names of the last prophet in the Holy Quran
Firstly: the names of the last prophet sent by the Lord God:
1- The last prophet of the Lord God has two names in the Quranic text as follows.
1/1: The name (Ahmed) is mentioned here: "And when Jesus son of Mary said, “O Israelites, I am God’s messenger to you, confirming what preceded me of the Torah, and announcing good news of a messenger who will come after me, whose name is Ahmed.”..." (61:6).
1/2: The name (Muhammad) is mentioned four times in the entire Quranic text. We will demonstrate these four contexts later in the lines below.
2- Muhammad has certain descriptions by which the Lord God has addressed him as follows.
2/1: "O you enwrapped one. Stay up the night, except a little. For half of it, or reduce it a little. Or add to it; and read the Quranic verses one after the other. We are about to give you a heavy message." (73:1-5).
2/2: "O you enrobed one. Arise and warn. And magnify your Lord. And purify your clothes. And abandon abominations. And show no favor seeking gain. And be constant for your Lord." (74:1-7).
2/3: "O prophet! We have sent you as a witness, and a bearer of good news, and a warner. And a caller towards God by His leave, and an illuminating beacon." (33:45-46).
2/4: "We sent you as a witness, and a bearer of good news, and a warner." (48:8).
Secondly: the name (Muhammad) in the Quran:
The name (Muhammad) is mentioned four times only, and exclusively in Quranic verses revealed in Yathreb, regarding the topic of asserting the fact that Muhammad was a mortal human being. We will demonstrate these four contexts in the points below.
1- During his lifetime in Arabia, Muhammad received news of his own inevitable death: "Muhammad is no more than a messenger. Messengers have passed on before him. If he dies or gets killed, will you turn on your heels? He who turns on his heels will not harm God in any way. And God will reward the thankful ones. No soul can die except by God’s leave, at a predetermined time. Whoever desires the reward of the world, We will give him some of it; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, We will give him some of it; and We will reward the thankful ones." (3:144-145). This Quranic context is about commenting on the battle of Uhud when some believers in the self-defense troops assumed wrongly that Muhammad got killed in the battlefield. This Quranic context informs us of the fact that Muhammad was a mortal human being; his died like all mortals; the call of monotheism will remain after him until the end of days because it is never linked to his being alive in this transient world; rather, it is linked to the Quranic Message preserved and protected by the Omnipotent Lord God until the advent of the Hour before the Resurrection Day.
2- This Quranic verse is about the human being named Muhammad who married, had marital sex, and had children: "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men; but he is the messenger of God, and the last of the prophets. God is Cognizant of everything." (33:40)
2/1: The Quranic verse 33:40 predicts that Muhammad will never have sons who will reach adulthood; his sons died as children and therefore they never got married; i.e., they had no progeny or descendants at all. Of course, 33:40 asserts the fact that Muhammad is the last prophet; the Lord God will never send any more messengers/prophets after the death of Muhammad; there will be no more divine revelation granted to anyone until the end of days when the Hour takes place.
2/2: The polytheistic Muhammadans would have deified any descendants of Muhammad were he to have any grandchildren from his own sons. Strangely, the polytheistic Sunnite, Shiite, and Sufi Muhammadans already deify Hussein the son of Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad, and place him in a stature above the Lord God Himself; what would be the level of deification they would have assigned to sons and grandchildren of Muhammad if his sons would have lived long enough to get married and to beget children?!
3- We are not to deify or believe in Muhammad; we are to believe in the Quran sent down to him: "Those who disbelieve and repel from the Path of God - He nullifies their works. While those who believe, and work righteousness, and believe in what was sent down to Muhammad - and it is the Truth from their Lord - He remits their sins, and relieves their concerns. That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehoods, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord. God thus cites for the people their examples." (47:1-3).
3/1: We see in 47:1-3 the comparison between (1) the disbelievers who repel others from the Quranic Truth and (2) the Quran-believing monotheists; the Lord God will nullify all deeds of the disbelievers; i.e., their deeds will bear no fruit at all in the Hereafter: "It was revealed to you, and to those before you, that if you adhere to polytheism, your works will be in vain, and you will be of the losers." (39:65); "We will proceed to the works they did, and will turn them into scattered dust." (25:23); "...Whoever associates others with God within polytheism, God has forbidden him Paradise, and his dwelling is the Fire. The unjust ones have no supporters." (5:72). Quranists who believe only in the Holy Quran as the Only Discourse in Islam are monotheists who follow the Truth sent down to humanity from the Lord God; this means that the Lord God will remit their sins and relieve their concerns.
3/2: In 47:2, we find this phrase (believe in what was sent down to Muhammad - and it is the Truth from their Lord); this means to believe in the Quran granted to Muhammad and NOT in Muhammad. In Islam, there is no belief in persons; to believe in mortals means to deify them as gods/goddesses besides the Lord God. This polytheism contradicts the monotheism of (There is no God but Allah). The true belief is to believe in the divine revelation sent down to messengers/prophets. To trust or believe with a messenger/prophet means to believe in the divine revelation granted to him from the Lord God: "Had they believed in God and with the prophet, and in what was revealed to him, they would not have befriended them. But many of them are sinful." (5:81). This means that the divine revelation is the sphere of the monotheistic belief (or Islam). Of course, receiving divine revelation is what makes the Lord God's messengers/prophets differ from other human beings. Therefore, what is required within Islam (or the monotheistic belief) is to believe in this divine revelation which made messengers/prophets of Allah outstanding when compared to the rest of human beings. We are never to deify messengers/prophets of Allah because such polytheism is against Islam and is never accepted by Allah.
3/3: To believe in the Messenger means to believe in the Quranic Message granted to Muhammad as the divine revelation and not in Muhammad as a deified being: "O you who believe! Believe in God and in His Messenger, and in the Book He sent down to His messenger, and the Book He sent down before. Whoever rejects God, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day, has strayed far in error." (4:136). The capitalized word (Messenger) in 4:136 refers only to the Quran itself and never to Muhammad; the word (messenger) with the small letter (m) in 4:136 refers only to Muhammad as he read the Quranic verses. Pondering deeply on 4:136, we infer that the belief in the Divine Book, or the Quran, includes the belief in Allah, the Last Day, and in the existence of the prophets/messengers who, before their death, received divine revelation sent down to them by Allah. This means that despite the different tongues of the Celestial Scriptures and the different tongues, regions, and eras of prophets/messengers who conveyed these Scriptures, it is essentially One Divine Book with the same basic or core notions; hence, to believe in the Quran (or in any of the previous Scriptures) is to believe in all of the Divine, Celestial Scriptures revealed by Allah to all prophets/messengers and to believe in Allah as the Only One True Lord God without partners or associates. As for our topic here about Muhammad, we are not to believe in Muhammad as a person or an individual so as not to deify him; rather, the belief should be in the Messenger or the Divine Message: the Holy Quran itself which confirms and endorses the previous Celestial Scriptures of the Lord God.
4- This Quranic verse is about the mortal human beings Muhammad and those with him; i.e., his contemporaries: "Muhammad is the messenger of God. Those with him are stern against the disbelievers, yet compassionate amongst themselves. You see them kneeling, prostrating, seeking blessings from God and approval. Their marks are on their faces from the effects of prostration. Such is their description in the Torah, and their description in the Gospel: like a plant that sprouts, becomes strong, grows thick, and rests on its stem, impressing the farmers. Through them He enrages the disbelievers. God has promised those among them who believe and do good deeds forgiveness and a great reward." (48:29).
4/1: The Quranic verse 48:29 tells us about Muhammad and his contemporaries as human beings who interacted and lived in the same era and the same region. In 48:29, we see the overt features of such mortals who lived in Arabia at the time. During their lifetime, and they lived for a while after the death of Muhammad, the Lord God has not given them any promise of Paradise to rely on so that they would not perform any good deeds within monotheistic faith. This is why we find this phrase in 48:29 (God has promised those among them who believe and do good deeds forgiveness and a great reward). The beginning of 48:29 talks about all of them, but by the end of 48:29, we read this phrase (those among them) and not all of them.
4/2: When we read the history of those contemporaries of Muhammad who outlived him, we see that once Muhammad died, they committed aggression against peaceful nations, who never harmed the Arabs of Arabia, within the Arab conquests. Such contemporaries of Muhammad engaged into fierce civil strife (and full-fledged civil wars) as they disputed over spoils and ill-gotten money, assets, and treasures stolen from the conquered regions. These undeniable historical facts make us understand the reason of the existence of the phrase(those among them) in 48:29 regarding the contemporaries of Muhammad; not all of them deserve to be among the dwellers of Paradise in the Hereafter. Paradise will never be for the unjust ones even if they appeared to be pious, as per 48:29, during Muhammad's lifetime. What matters most regarding entering into Paradise is to live within piety and to die as a pious submitter to the Lord God; i.e., as a monotheist/Muslim: "O you who believe! Revere God within piety with due reverence, and do not die except as Muslims." (3:102). Of course, Islam in term of behavior is peaceful demeanor when dealing with others; Islam in terms of faith/belief inside one's soul/heart is obedience/submission to the Lord God's Quranic commands within monotheism and piety. This is in contrast to the grave sins and violations of the four sinful pre-Umayyad caliphs and the so-called companions of Muhammad who, once Muhammad died, conquered and invaded many regions and thus committed many grave injustices and acts of violence and aggression against innocent, peaceful people.
4/3: Typically, the hardest test in life is prosperity/bounty and not adversity/ordeals; this is why Joseph who was the richest and most powerful man in Egypt supplicated this way, within gratitude and thankfulness, to the Dominant Lord God after his being reunited with his family members after long years of separation: "“My Lord, You have given me some authority, and taught me some interpretation of events. Initiator of the heavens and the earth; You are my Protector in this life and in the Hereafter. Receive my soul in submission, and unite me with the righteous ones.”" (12:101). This means that Joseph supplicated to the Lord God to die as a Muslim (i.e., a monotheistic submitter to the Lord God) who believes in the Islamic Truth (i.e., monotheism) and joins the righteous ones in Paradise; this is because what matters most is to die within monotheism and piety.
4/4: The greatness of the Holy Quran manifests itself in a very special manner in 48:29 because it refutes in advance the stance of those who, centuries after the revelation of the Quran, have deified the so-called companions of Muhammad (i.e., his contemporaries) described in 48:29 as (those with him). The Muhammadans, past and present, deify, sanctify, and revere such companions and deem them as 'infallible' beings whose fate is in Paradise; the Muhammadans assume wrongly that the Lord God promised Paradise to all such companions. This is not true; despite the appearance of piety mentioned in 48:29, there were hypocrites around Muhammad and he never knew that they hated him and hated Islam (i.e., the Quran itself) very much: "Among the Desert-Arabs around you there are some hypocrites, and among the inhabitants of the city too. They have become adamant in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will torment them twice; then they will be returned to a severe torment." (9:101). This means that among the contemporaries of Muhammad (or the so-called companions) were those who died as disbelieving hypocrites whose fate is Hell after their being tormented twice in this transient world before their death. This is apart from the frank, overt hypocrites in Yathreb whose deeds, words, and stances exposed their hypocrisy and disbelief who lied and swore by the Holy Name of God in vain that they did not say/do such-and-such things. Those hypocrites in Yathreb vacillated and fluctuated between belief and disbelief until they eventually chose disbelief; their fate in the Hereafter is the lowest level of Hell: "Those who believe, then disbelieve, then believe, then disbelieve, then increase in disbelief, God will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to a way." (4:137); "The hypocrites will be in the lowest level of the Hell-Fire, and you will find no helper for them." (4:145). Such hypocrites are included in the first half of the Quranic verse 48:29 here (Those with him...the effects of prostration); this is why they are removed from forgiveness and great reward (i.e., in Paradise) by the end of the Quranic verse 48:29 here (God has promised those among them who believe and do good deeds forgiveness and a great reward).
Lastly:
1- The Arab conquests spread the disbelief in, and the rejection of, Islam (i.e., the Quran) and resulted in the emergence of the terrestrial religions of Satan of which three have survived; namely, the Sunnite, Shiite, and Sufi religions. Such devilish terrestrial religions contradict one another and are filled with schisms discrepancies, contradictions, and disputes all the time; yet, they concur in one thing; namely, they have abandoned and rejected the Quran; i.e., they have rejected the Only True Islam. The three devilish terrestrial religions agree on another thing; namely, to deify a false, imaginary god, whom they named as (Muhammad), and to consider him as a deity above the Lord Allah Himself. The third item shared by the three devilish terrestrial religions of the Muhammadans is that they deify other gods labeled as imams, sheikhs, clergymen, authors, and (fe)male saints/allies.
2- Within their deifying a fashioned, false god named by them as (Muhammad), the Muhammadans have invented 'holy' epithets or names attributed to this imaginary deity. We will discuss this topic in detail in the next article of this book.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Saeed Ali: What matters most is to adhere to piety until one dies as a Muslim/submitter to the Lord God. Piety is the essence of Islam, and this is the title of one of the previous articles by my dear Dr. Mansour (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/English/show_article.php?main_id=14282). Piety means to fear no one but the Lord God; it is a grave sin to make the great religion of Islam be dwarfed by being represented by a man or any mortals. Muhammad did not represent Islam. The polytheists who deify him never esteem the Lord God as He should be esteemed.
(2) Mr. Omar Ali: Thank you, my dear Dr. Mansour, for encouraging me. I don't have much time to write lengthy articles though; this is because I am too busy in my workplace and at home. It is indeed a very devilish idea to assume that as if (the deified) Muhammad were an immortal god who controls the Last Day as the 'grand intercessor'; this wishful thinking is embraced by polytheists deceived by Satan; they forget that as per the Holy Quran, Satan is bent on tempting the vast majority of human beings and he will disown them on the Last Day inside Hell as per 14:22.
(3) Mr. Ben Levante: Muhammad was a mortal prophet and messenger; he was a human being. I disagree with the commentary on 49:29 by my brother Dr. Mansour; 49:2 implies that Muhammad is promised with Paradise after being pardoned by Allah; yet, why would 49:29 include Muhammad as well?!
(4) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We say to our dear brother, Mr. Ben Levante, that the phrase (among them) in 49:29 refers to contemporaries of Muhammad and not to Muhammad; or else, this would have contradicted 49:2. Of course, the Lord God's Word, the Holy Quran, contains no contradictions at all. By the way, the Quranic Chapter 49 contains descriptions of several types of the companions or contemporaries of Muhammad.
(5) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We thank our sons Mr. Saeed Ali and Mr. Omar Ali. We say here that true monotheists never equate anyone with the Lord God; if 1% (or less) of sanctification is dedicated to an item or a mortal, and 99% dedicated to the Lord God, this is polytheism leading to Hell if one dies without repentance and one's good deeds will be nullified and will never be accepted by the Lord God. The mortals deified by polytheists will disown them in the Hereafter.
PART X: The names invented by the polytheists for their imaginary deity (the Prophet) Muhammad
PART X: The names invented by the polytheists for their imaginary deity (the Prophet) Muhammad
Firstly: their deifying and sanctifying (the Prophet):
1/1: If a man would stand in public in order to insult and curse (Ibn Berzaweih) no one will care to notice this; if the same man would insult and curse (Al-Bokhary) in the same manner, the masses may beat him to death. Most of the masses never know that the real name of Al-Bokhary is Ibn Berzaweih. We have talked about this deification of proper names before. We repeat this here because the sanctification and fame linked to the name (Al-Bokhary) is linked also to his book of hadiths which include the so-called Sunna ascribed by force to Muhammad after his death; the Muhammadan assume wrongly that Muhammad uttered such hadiths; we assert that he never uttered them or even heard about them.
1/2: We have mentioned previously that the Muhammadans sanctify some terms and titles as well; we add to them here the terms (Sunna), (Sunna hadiths), and (God's holy hadiths); if any man dares to attack and question such terms, he will be accused of apostasy and may get killed. Yet, the list of such sanctified terms invented by the polytheists is endless; the hadiths of the Muhammadans are endless; they have increased with the passage of centuries; they are filled with discrepancies and contradictions; even attempts of some Sunnite authors to sort and sift hadiths within many criteria resulted into more disputes and schisms. Of course, hadiths are never part of Islam because they contradict the True Islam; i.e., the Quran. Yet, for the Muhammadans, the hadiths are sanctified and hallowed within an unprecedented level for merely being attributed to the Muhammadans' imaginary deity named as (the Prophet).
2/1: Prophet Muhammad was a mortal human being as per the Quran; yet, the Muhammadans deem him as an immortal deity/god. As per the Quran, the last prophet, a mortal man named Muhammad, never knew the future and never knew the invisible; this is why he never knew those around him in Yathreb among his contemporaries who were adamant in hypocrisy and hid their anti-Quran stance very well (see 9:101). Yet, the Muhammadans in their hadiths made their invented, immortal, and deified prophet know the future and the invisible and act as a 'grand intercessor' who controls the kingdom of the Dominant Lord God in this world and in the Hereafter!
2/2: This deified prophet invented and fashioned by the Muhammadans is referred to, by them, only by the term (the Prophet) without adding any names or words at all. When any of the Muhammadans utter or hear the term (the Prophet), they think of no-one but their immortal deified imaginary Muhammad; no one assumes that the term (the Prophet) might refer to Abraham, Noah, Jesus, Moses, Aaron,...etc.
2/3: The Muhammadans hate it when someone would make Muhammad equal to the previous prophets and messengers of the Lord God; the Muhammadans assume that Muhammad is the 'master' of all prophets and the 'best' one among all messengers. This means that the Muhammadans intentionally disregard the Quranic prohibition of making distinction among prophets and messengers of the Lord God (see 2:136 and 2:285). The Quran never mentions who is the best prophet/messenger before the sight of the Lord God. When a man would tell the Muhammadans that there is no Quranic proof about Muhammad being the 'best' among, or master/imam of, the Lord God's prophets/messengers, the Muhammadans will accuse this man of insulting their deified (Prophet) by casting doubt on his stature or position.
2/4: The (Prophet) for the Muhammadans is a living, immortal deity who lives beneath their feet inside a tomb; they perform pilgrimage to this tomb/mausoleum inside the Yathreb mosque to venerate and worship Muhammad and to supplicate/pray to him while assuming he hears and greets them and grants their wishes! The Muhammadans assume that this imaginary living entombed god reviews their recorded deeds and intercedes on their behalf by asking Allah to forgive them! The Muhammadans hate it when a man dares to ask them how this (Prophet) do such tasks inside a tomb; they will accuse this man of insulting their deified (Prophet) by casting doubt on his stature or position.
2/5: Their imaginary deity named as the (Prophet) has his special prayers and glorifications offered to him; they are never offered to other prophets: Noah, Aaron, Abraham, Moses,...etc. Hence, the Muhammadans invented a special act of worship dedicated to their god whom they name as (Muhammad).
3/1: The entirety of the Quranic Chapter One is phrased that way so that it is employed by believers to worship the Lord God only; it is pronounced in every Raqa within the daily prayers as believers address the Lord God: "In the name of God, the Dominant, the Merciful. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds. The Dominant, the Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help. Guide us to the Straight Path. The Path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided." (1:1-7).
3/2: During his lifetime in Arabia, the last prophet/messenger of the Lord God, Muhammad, pronounced the Quranic Chapter One within piety and reverence within the daily prayers. This what should be done by pious monotheists; no one among the contemporaries of Muhammad addressed the Quranic Chapter One to any mortals including Muhammad who was their imam of prayers. They never did so because they learned from the messenger Muhammad, as he read the Quran to them, that to worship other than the Lord God is sheer polytheism hated by Allah.
3/3: Yet, the misguided, polytheistic Muhammadans employ the Quranic Chapter One as an element within their worshiping their god; i.e., their deified (Prophet).
3/3/1: They read the Quranic Chapter One within reverence while worshiping and venerating the mausoleum/abomination ascribed to Muhammad inside the Yathreb mosque; they read it within reverence while invoking their god Muhammad, as though he were alive, while seeking help/aid in situations of troubles, reconciliations, deals, transactions,...etc.
3/3/2: When a Quranist man calls the Muhammadans to dedicate and devote their religion and their acts of worship exclusively to the Lord God, this will provoke their anger because they can never imagine to believe in Allah only; they have to add other fashioned deities and gods among mortals. They can never imagine any messengers/prophets as mortal human beings chosen by the Lord God to convey the Divine Message; they insist on adding to them God-like qualities. They refuse to confine the mission of Muhammad, as a messenger, to delivering the Quranic Message; they insist on deifying Muhammad as a god who controls this world and the Hereafter alongside with the Lord God! This is why in situations of troubles, reconciliations, deals, transactions,...etc., the Muhammadans invoke and supplicate reverently to this imaginary deity named by them as Muhammad; it is as if this will bring good luck and ward off evil or failure! Yet, catastrophes, accidents, and ordeals do occur! The Muhammadans live in a series of instances of failure all the time!
Secondly: the names fashioned and invented for their deity (the Prophet):
1- It is never acceptable to give a title or a name to one's late father; this father is dead and he never knew about this title or name. Yet, within the terrestrial religions of Satan to which the Muhammadans adhere, it is a basic notion to invent 'holy' titles/names/epithets to honor and describe the dead gods. This is what the Muhammadans have done with their imaginary, immortal deity the (Prophet) Muhammad. Centuries after the death of Muhammad, the Muhammadans have given him so many names/epithets of which he never heard; he died and never knew about such names/epithets; he died and, like all dead people, he has no ties with anything that happened, happening, and will happen after his death.
2- Some of such false names/epithets are mentioned in some hadiths, attributed by force to Muhammad after his death, in the Al-Bokhary book of hadiths and the Moslem book of hadiths.
2/1: (...I have many names; I am Muhammad, I am Ahmed, I am the Remover of disbelief by God's leave, I am the Gatherer as resurrected souls will be gather above my foot; I am the First and the Last...).We comment on this silly hadiths in the points below.
2/1/1: Disbelief is never removed from this world at all; it has existed and will continue to exist until the end of days. Has disbelief disappeared from planet earth from china to Argentina? Disbelief has never been removed from the countries of the Arabs and the Muhammadans until now!
2/1/2: The Lord God, and never any mortals including Muhammad, is the One Who will gather all souls on the Resurrection Day. Yet, the Muhammadans imagine that their deity and intercessor Muhammad is in full control of the Day of Judgment as if he were its master alongside with, or instead of, the Lord God! This is sheer blasphemy! The laughter-inducing element is about the (foot); will it be the right foot or the left one?! Will it carry all resurrected human souls?! Why not both feet?! Will this foot be big enough to carry all resurrected souls from Adam to the last person in the last human generation on earth?! How come?! What if few billions would fall and dirty their clothes and faces in mud?! Will this feet as big as the heavens and the earth?! Where would be the locations of souls of prophets/messengers above this foot?! Will they be like the souls of the rest of humanity or would they live in special hotels at the ankle or the fingers?!
2/1/3: Muhammad was never the first human being or the last one of them; people continued to exist after his death; he was not alpha and omega; he was not a second Adam; as per the Quran, the First and Last is the Lord God (see 57:3); this silly, laughter-inducing hadith does not even mention that Muhammad was the last prophet; we would like our readers to burst out laughing as we did when we quoted this silly hadith here.
2/2: This silly hadith is repeated many times with slightly different versions in other books of lies/hadiths.
2/3: (... The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah descend upon him, had many names and he informed us with them: he said: "I am Muhammad, I am Ahmed, I am the Last, I am the Gatherer, I am the Prophet of Mercy, and I am the Prophet of Repentance."...). We see here six names and not five as is the case with the previous hadith. This difference, in number and in names, is in one book; namely, the Al-Bokhary book of hadiths which is a book revered and sanctified by the Muhammadans as their 'holy of holies'!
3- After the era of Al-Bokhary and Moslem books, many machines/fabricators of hadiths vied for inventing so many names to sanctify, glorify, and honor their deity Muhammad as they saw that the already employed names are never enough! The increasing number of 'holy' names/epithets/titles reflects the historical fact that sanctification/deification of Muhammad increased with the passage of the centuries.
3/1: Many Sunnite authors made the number of 'holy' names ascribed to Muhammad reach ninety-nine, and the same number of 'holy' names are attributed by them to Allah. Other authors vied for increasing such 'holy' names. The Sunnite author Al-Jazoly invented two hundred names for Muhammad in his book titled (Dalael Al-Khayraat). Another Sunnite author, Ibn Dahya, made them three hundred names in his book titled (Al-Mustawfa fe Asmaa Al-Mustafa). Some other authors invented a hadith that Allah has one thousand holy names and Muhammad has one thousand holy names; such authors never wrote down such names at all! We pose these 'innocent' questions: Did such authors receive divine revelation? Did Allah talk to them in dreams?! Did they met with Muhammad to verify their claims?! This means that we have to bear in mind that terrestrial religions of Satan are fashioned and fabricated as per the whims of their authors!
3/2: During the eras when Sunnite Sufism was the earthly religion which dominated all aspects of life, the Sufi authors wrote more than fourteen books about 'holy' names and epithets granted by them to their deity Muhammad. Such authors include Al-Qurtubi, Al-Sakhawy, Al-Siyouti, Ibn Fares, and Youssef Al-Nabhany.
3/3: In the 2nd century A.H., the Abbasid author M. Ibn Ishaq fabricated from his own imagination and from scattered oral traditions and narratives the very first fake biography of Muhammad; his book is filled with nothing but myths, falsehoods, and lies. Yet, Ibn Ishaq never wrote a word about the existence of any 'holy' names attributed to Muhammad. Other fake biographies of Muhammad appeared during the Abbasid and the Mameluke eras; this means the number of myths about Muhammad increased exponentially. Such mythical narratives reflect truly the features of polytheism of the Muhammadans who deified and sanctified Prophet Muhammad. Traditions of writing fake biographies of Muhammad included to write chapters about his 'holy' names/epithets! This is evident in the book titled (History of Damascus) by Al-Khateeb and the book titled (Al-Shefa Betaareef Huquq Al-Mustafa) by the judge and fiqh scholar Ayyad.
3/4: The existence of such books which contain 'holy' names/epithets attributed to Muhammad resulted in writing more books about interpreting, annotating, explaining, and commenting on such books; for instance, the book titled (Al-Riyad Al-Aniqa fe Sharh Asmaa Kheir Al-Khaleeqa) by Al-Siyouti.
4- Such polytheistic authors not only vied for increasing the number of 'holy' names/epithets ascribed to Muhammad but also in their exaggeration in inventing such names which express their deifying Muhammad as an immortal god along with Allah.
4/1: Some authors who claimed that Muhammad had only ninety-nine 'holy' names/epithets made about seventy of these names shared with Allah; i.e., the same names/epithets can be used in order to describe both Muhammad and Allah!
4/2: Most of such names are invented within fabricated hadiths; the most frequently repeated names, within hadiths, are (the master of all descendants of Adam) and (the master of all messengers).
4/3: During the eras of Sunnite Sufism, more strange 'holy' names were invented to glorify and honor the deified (Prophet) such as the ones in this list: Aheed (i.e., the unique), Waheed (i.e., the unique), Maneh (i.e., the giver), Mad'oo (i.e., the invited), remover of troubles, pardoner of sins and mistakes, keeper of Allah's knowledge, the sea of divine lights, the repository of secrets, the giver of mercy, the light of lights, the causer of all creatures, the source of all mercy, the focus of Allah's sovereignty, the focus of eternity, the magnet of Allah's majesty, the all-encompassing secret, the greatest veil, and the ayatollah (i.e., the sign of Allah).
5- Within an Indian printed copy of the Quran, ninety-nine names or epithets of their deity Muhammad were written in the covers; the same ninety-nine names/epithets are carved within the southern wall of the Yathreb mosque which houses the mausoleum/abomination attributed to their deity Muhammad.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Saeed Ali: Indeed, the polytheists never esteemed the Lord God as He should be esteemed. I remember when I took the elevator in a hotel inside Mecca that I pronounced the testimony (There is no God but Allah). The man with me inside the elevator said to me (And Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah!), and I told him it is very wrong to add names of mortals to the testimony of monotheism; I told him monotheists should never make Muhammad as 'better' or 'above' other messengers and prophets. The man was very much hurt by my words and told me curtly that Muhammad is the 'beloved' of Allah and he resides beneath His Throne! This polytheistic man is brainwashed no doubt by the devilish Wahabi media. Muhammad was nothing but a mortal human being who died eventually. The Muhammadans cannot realize that he is dead! Indeed, the polytheists never esteemed the Lord God as He should be esteemed.
(2) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We thank our dear son, Mr. Saeed Ali, for his comment. Indeed, the test you have made for this stranger was employed by many Quranists; the Muhammadans fell into the trap of pronouncing the so-called dual testimony. This means that the polytheistic Muhammadans insist on putting the names of their deities (Muhammad + Ali) within dual or triple testimony; they hate the true testimony of monotheism of (There is no God but Allah); they are worse than Christians who deify Jesus and his mother; the reason: Christians have no Quran; the Muhammadans have the Quran but they have rejected and abandoned it. This Quranic verse applies to the Muhammadans: "That is because when God alone was called upon, you disbelieved; but when others were associated with Him, you believed..." (40:12). They only believe in God when Muhammad their deity is associated with Him within polytheism.
PART XI: The problem of polytheists was with Muhammad the messenger and not with Muhammad as a perso
PART XI: The problem of polytheists was with Muhammad the messenger and not with Muhammad as a person
Firstly: the stances of polytheists in Arabia regarding hearing the Quranic verses read to them:
Muhammad did not offer himself as a deity for Arabs so that they would believe in him; rather, he read to them the Lord God's Quranic verses so that they may believe in them.
1- The Lord God knows best where to place His Messages; the Lord God has chosen Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdul-Mutalib Ibn Hashem to be the last prophet and a messenger who conveyed the Quranic Message because of his very high moralistic level; he was the most suitable man in Arabia to bear the responsibility of conveying the Quranic Message: the Last Celestial Message to all humanity. Because of his very high moralistic level, Muhammad was admired by all people for his truthfulness, honesty, and integrity. This means that before he received the Quranic revelation, he had no enemies because he never committed injustice, violence, or aggression and he never told lies or betrayed any persons. Yet, once he began to read the Quranic verses to those around him as a messenger of the Lord God who called them to reject their saints/allies, gods/deities, and idols, the deniers of the Quran hated him. Muhammad rejected the polytheistic religion of his people inherited from their ancestors and urged them to reject it. The deniers of the Quran were shocked; they repelled people from the Quran and leveled many accusations against the messenger of the Lord God, i.e., Muhammad, who read the Quranic verses to them. Of course his ministry as a prophet required his reading the Quranic verses to people around him: "Just as We sent to you a messenger from among you, who reads Our Verses to you, and purifies you, and teaches you the Book and Wisdom, and teaches you what you did not know." (2:151).
2- Their stances differed regarding their denying and rejecting the Quran.
2/1: They demanded from Muhammad to change the Quran: "And when Our Clear Verses are read to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this, or change it.” Say, “It is not for me to change it of my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the torment of a Tremendous Day.” Say, “Had God willed, I would not have read it to you, and He would not have made it known to you. I have lived among you for a lifetime before it. Do you not understand?”" (10:15-16).
2/1/1: The polytheists desired that Muhammad would be convinced to change the Quranic text to make it match their polytheistic religious culture inherited from their forefathers. This means that they realized the fact that Muhammad received Celestial Revelation from the Lord God, but they hated the Quran and sought to change it. The Lord God refutes them here by asserting that if Muhammad would commit the sin of fabricating hadiths/statements/falsehoods to ascribe the to his Lord God, his punishment would have been very severe: "Indeed, I swear by what you see. And by what you do not see. It is the speech of a noble messenger. And it is not the speech of a poet - little do you believe. Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer - little do you take heed. It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. Had he falsely attributed some statements to Us. We would have seized him by the right arm. Then slashed his lifeline. And none of you could have restrained Us from him." (69:38-47).
2/1/2: The Lord God has commanded Muhammad to announce to his contemporaries that he could never change the Quranic text; he believed in the Quran and followed the Divine Revelation; he fears His Lord God; he lived for years among them before receiving Celestial revelation and they knew that he was not a liar, a falsifier, or a fabricator.
2/1/3: Decades later, the imams and clergymen of the Muhammadans realized the demands of the Qorayish disbelieving polytheists by fabricating and inventing countless hadiths which are deemed as an alternative to the Quran; they make their hadiths supplant and replace the Quranic verses and the Quranic legislations by the Sunnite erroneous notion of Naskh.
2/2: The polytheists in Arabia attacked the Quran itself.
2/2/1: They accused the Quran of being nothing but myths of the ancients: "And when Our Verses are read to them, they say, “We have heard. Had we wanted, we could have said the like of this; these are nothing but myths of the ancients!”" (8:31); "When Our Verses are read to him, he says, “Myths of the ancients!”" (68:15 + 83:13).
2/2/2: They accused the Quran of being nothing but magic/sorcery or fabrication: "When Our Clear Verses are read to them, those who disbelieve say of the Truth when it has come to them, “This is obvious magic!”" (46:7); "And when Our Clear Verses are read to them, they say, “This is nothing but a man who wants to divert you from what your ancestors used to worship.” And they say, “This is nothing but a fabricated lie!” And when the Truth comes to them, the disbelievers say of the Truth, “This is nothing but obvious magic!”" (34:43).
2/2/3: They employed false arguments and empty refutations as their response to hearing the Quranic verses read to them: "When Our Clear Verses are read to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Which of the two parties is better in position, and superior in influence?" (19:73); "When Our Clear Verses are read to them, their only argument is to say, “Bring back our ancestors, if you are truthful.”" (45:25); "They said, “Are our gods better, or he?” They utter this only for argument. In fact, they are a quarrelsome people." (43:58).
2/2/4: The polytheists urged the Meccans not to listen to the Quranic verses when read to them and to talk loudly to make their voices drown the Quranic verses: "Those who disbelieve say, “Do not listen to this Quran, and talk over it, so that you may prevail.”" (41:26). The same grave sin is being committed by today's Muhammadans who scream loudly in admiration as they listen to the Quranic verses being sung like lyrics of songs.
2/2/5: They fabricated fancy tales to repel others from the Quran which is the Best Discourse and the Absolute Truth.
2/2/5/1: "Among the people is he who trades in distracting tales; intending, without knowledge, to lead away from God’s Path, and to make a mockery of it. These will have a humiliating torment. And when Our Verses are read to him, he turns away in pride, as though he did not hear them, as though there is deafness in his ears. So inform him of a painful torment." (31:6-7). The clergymen and imams of the Muhammadans fabricated countless hadiths of distracting tales to repel others from the Path of the Lord God; i.e., the Quran.
2/2/5/2: "These are God’s Verses which We read to you in Truth. In which discourse, after God and His Verses, will they believe? Woe to every sinful liar. Who hears God's Verses being read to him, yet he persists arrogantly, as though he did not hear them. Announce to him a painful torment. And when he learns something of Our Verses, he takes them in mockery. For such there is a shameful torment." (45:6-9). The clergymen and imams of the Muhammadans fabricated countless hadiths of distracting tales to repel others from the Path of the Lord God; i.e., the Quran.
2/2/6: The polytheists attacked and insulted Muhammad himself when he read the Quranic verses to them: "Those who disbelieve almost stab you with their glances when they hear the message, and say, “He is crazy!” But it is no less than a Reminder to all the Worlds." (68:51-52). Before his ministry as a prophet of the Lord God, no one looked at Muhammad with hatred; their looks of hatred and envy were directed at Muhammad only when he read the Quran to them. This means that their problem was not with their companion Muhammad as a person; rather, their problem was their hatred towards the Quran denied and rejected by them.
2/2/7: The polytheists who hated the Quran also hated the early believers who read the Quranic verses to them; they were about to physically attack them: "And when Our Clear Verses are read to them, you will recognize disgust on the faces of those who disbelieve. They nearly assault those who read to them Our Verses. Say, “Shall I inform you of something worse than that? The Fire! God has promised it to those who disbelieve. And what a wretched outcome!”" (22:72). This means the polytheists did not have a problem when the early believers attend their gatherings; their problem was hating the Quranic verses read to them by those early believers. There was no problem between them and the early believers. The only problem of the polytheists at the time was their denying and hating the Quran itself.
Secondly: the problem of the polytheists was not with their companion Muhammad; their problem was with the Quran itself:
1- We quote, for the second time, these Quranic verses: "And when Our Clear Verses are read to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this, or change it.” Say, “It is not for me to change it of my own accord. This means that the polytheists had pinned their hopes that one day, Muhammad, who was their companions for many years, would be convinced to change the Quranic text as per their demands.
2- The Lord God takes this companionship between the polytheists and Muhammad as an argument against the polytheists who denied the Quran; they knew that Muhammad had a very high moralistic level and that he was truthful and honest; how come they accused him of being misguided, astray, or in error when he read the Quranic verses to them: "By the star as it goes down. Your companion has not gone astray, nor has he erred. Nor does he speak out of desire. It is but a revelation revealed." (53:1-4).
3- Because of the fact that the polytheists believed in the Lord God alongside with their other gods/idols and entombed saints/allies, and, at the same time, they knew about the very high moralistic level of Muhammad, who was their companion for many years, in a direct address, the Lord God has told them to stop following their whims in order to ponder deeply about Muhammad: "Say, “I offer you a single advice: devote yourselves to God, in pairs, or individually; and reflect. There is no madness in your friend. He is just a warner to you, before the advent of a severe torment.”" (34:46).
Thirdly: Muhammad's relation with the affluent ones in authority among the Meccans of the Qorayish tribe was the field of struggle between him and them:
1- Muhammad belonged to the powerful Hashemite faction of the tribe of Qorayish; he was not as wealthy and powerful as those affluent ones in authority among the Hashemites; yet, he had a very high moralistic level; this means we should imagine his being – before the Quran was revealed to him as a prophet and a messenger – part of their assemblies and gatherings. We should imagine also that such assemblies and gatherings of the powerful affluent class members of Qorayish turned into occasions to mock ridicule, undermine, and cast doubt on the Quranic verses: "My Verses were read to you, but you turned back on your heels. Arrogant towards it - talked nonsense about it in gatherings - disregarded it." (23:66-67). The same sin is committed by today's Muhammadans; e.g., in funerals, they talk nonsense while listening to the Quranic verses being sung like lyrics of songs.
2- Muhammad attended such gatherings mentioned in 23:67 to try to convince the polytheists to believe in the Quran and to coax them so that they believe in the Lord God within monotheism; yet, the Lord God has commanded him never to attend such gatherings when the Quran was being ridiculed: "When you encounter those who gossip about Our Verses, turn away from them, until they engage in another topic. But should Satan make you forget, do not sit after the recollection with the unjust people." (6:68). This means Muhammad could attend any gatherings, provided that the Quranic verses were not being mocked and undermined; if he heard such gossiping about the Quran, Muhammad should leave at once; of course, once they stopped ridiculing the Quran in their conversations, Muhammad can return to their gatherings.
3- Muhammad had his stature among his tribe of Qorayish since his ancestry is linked to Hashem Ibn Abd-Manaf, the founder of the powerful Hashemite faction of Qorayish, and this familial and social tie allowed the polytheistic Meccans to demand things from Muhammad especially in relation to the Quranic Message he conveyed.
3/1: This began during the early days of Muhammad's ministry as a prophet when he stopped praying and supplicating to gods and deities of the polytheist and began to pray to the Lord God only; some polytheists tried to prevent Muhammad from doing so: "Have you seen him who prevents? A servant when he prays? Do you think he is upon guidance? Or advocates righteousness? Do you see how he disbelieved and turned away? Does he not know that God sees? No. If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock. A deceitful, sinful forelock. Let him call on his gang. We will call the Guards. No, do not obey him; but kneel down, and come near." (96:9-19).
3/2: Muhammad was among them (i.e., the Qorayish Meccans) and this means he was similar to them; this is inferred from the following Quranic verse: "And found you misguided, and guided you?" (93:7). This means that the Lord God has guided Muhammad and made him a messenger and a prophet. The disbelievers did their best to convince Muhammad to return to his former acts of worship and polytheism before his being guided (i.e., worshiping idols). The Lord God has commanded Muhammad to tell them the following: "Say, “I am forbidden from worshiping those you pray to besides God.” Say, “I will not follow your desires; else I would be lost and not be of those guided.”" (6:56); "Say, “I was prohibited from worshiping those you invoke besides God, now that clear verses have come to me from my Lord; and I was commanded to submit to the Lord of the Worlds.”" (40:66).
3/3: The polytheists attempted many times to negatively influence Muhammad to make him fabricate other discourse(s) to be added to the Quran as per their whims; their endeavors to negatively influence Muhammad to commit this grave sin were about to succeed, but they failed thanks to divine intervention.
3/3/1: "They almost lured you away from what We have revealed to you, so that you would invent something else in Our name. In that case, they would have taken you for a friend. Had We not given you stability, you might have inclined towards them a little. Then We would have made you taste double in life, and double at death; then you would have found for yourself no helper against Us." (17:73-75).
3/3/2: We quote, for the third time, these Quranic verses: "And when Our Clear Verses are read to them, those who do not hope to meet Us say, “Bring a Quran other than this, or change it.” Say, “It is not for me to change it of my own accord.
4- The divine command addressed to Muhammad about never obeying the disbelieving polytheists is repeated in the Quranic text.
4/1: Within verses revealed in Mecca.
4/1/1: "So do not obey the deniers. They would like you to compromise, so they would compromise. And do not obey any vile swearer. Backbiter, spreader of slander." (68:8-11). This was within the beginning of the Quranic revelation granted to Muhammad; the Lord God has commanded him never to obey the deniers of the Quran.
4/1/2: "It is We who sent down the Quran upon you - a gradual revelation. So be patient for the decision of your Lord, and do not obey the sinner or the disbeliever among them." (76:23-24). The polytheistic deniers of the Quran are sinful disbelievers.
4/1/3: "So do not obey the disbelievers, but strive with them by it, a mighty striving." (25:52). This means Muhammad strove with them using the Quran itself; i.e., by preaching the Quranic Message.
4/1/4: "And content yourself with those who pray to their Lord morning and evening, desiring His Presence. And do not turn your eyes away from them, desiring the glitter of this world. And do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Reminder so he follows his own desires..." (18:28). Muhammad here has been commanded to adhere to the company of monotheistic believers and to never obey the arrogant deniers who were heedless of the Quran.
4/1: Within verses revealed in Yathreb, we read about other disbelievers and the hypocrites who emerged after Muhammad and the Meccan believers settled in Yathreb. There are repeated Quranic commands, addressed to Muhammad, about never to obey the deniers of the Quran among the Yathreb dwellers: "O prophet! Fear God, and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. God is Knowledgeable and Wise." (33:1); "And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and ignore their insults, and rely on God. God is a Sufficient Protector." (33:48).
Lastly:
The Quranic verses we have quoted above prove two things as follows.
1- The main issue here is the Quranic Message itself and not Muhammad as a person at all.
2- Muhammad as a mortal human being was not infallible; the only infallibility granted to Muhammad by the Lord God was confined to conveying the entirety of the Quranic text as it is; this means, again, that the main issue is the Quranic Message itself and not Muhammad as a person at all.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Omar Ali: Thank you, my dear Dr. Mansour, for this great article. Indeed, this Quranic verse applies to the Muhammadans: "And most of them do not believe in God unless within polytheism." (12:106). This is the reality lived by the Muhammadans now; each of their sects and doctrines revolves around deifying Muhammad; they never deem him as equal to Moses, Abraham, Jesus,...etc. who are never praised by them at all; they overpraise and glorify only the name of Muhammad in their prayers! I once saw a TV show in a Wahabi TV channel and the Wahabi presenter ridiculed Dr. Mansour and fabricated words he ascribed to him which he never wrote or pronounced! This Wahabi presenter warned viewers against following the ideas of Dr. Mansour deemed by him as an 'infidel'! This Wahabi presenter swore in the name of Allah that he says the 'truth' about Dr. Mansour! Shame on him!
(2) Mr. Saeed Ali: May the Lord God bless and protect you, dear Dr. Mansour. This series of articles is amazing and very convincing; I desire to assert here that both the believers and the disbelievers in the Quranic stories never deified or sanctified their prophets/messengers at all. The Quranic story of Muhammad is no exception to this rule. The deification of Muhammad began in the oral traditions of the late Umayyad Era (e.g., in the books authored by Al-Shafei), and then, it was amplified and it gained momentum during the Abbasid Era. The polytheists forget that the center of the Islamic Message is the Quran and not any person(s) at all.
(3) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: We thank Mr. Omar Ali and Mr. Saeed Ali for their comments. The Quranists are the only ones who defend, respect, and love Prophet Muhammad and they never deify him; we implore the Lord God to make all of the Quranists, including ourselves, in the company of messengers, prophets, witnesses, and the good, pious people in Paradise in the Hereafter.
PART XII: The polytheists denied and disbelieved in the Book and in the Quranic verses and not in Mu
PART XII: The polytheists denied and disbelieved in the Book and in the Quranic verses and not in Muhammad as a person
Introduction:
1- If any messenger/prophet of the Lord God told his people that he ate some apples and his people denied his declaration and disbelieved in his statement, this is not disbelief in religion or the divine message conveyed by this messenger/prophet because this is a personal matter which has nothing to do with religion. The messengers/prophets as persons are not the center of belief or disbelief in the Celestial, Divine Religion.
2- Despite the differences in eras, regions, and tongues, all celestial messages are centered on nothing but one clear notion; namely, the monotheism of (There is no God but Allah): "We never sent a messenger before you without inspiring him that: “There is no God but I, so worship Me.”" (21:25). This applies to the divine message sent by the Lord God to Noah and to all messengers/prophets after his era; this is why when the people of Noah denied and disbelieved in the message conveyed by Noah, they actually denied and disbelieved in all of the divine messages sent by the Lord God to all messengers/prophets after the era of Noah after they drowned in the deluge: "And the people of Noah: when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and made them a lesson for the humankind. We have prepared for the unjust ones a painful torment." (25:37); " The people of Noah denied the messengers." (26:105).The messengers/prophets as persons are not the center of belief or disbelief in the Celestial, Divine Religion.
3- The Holy Quran, which has descended while endorsing and asserting the previous Celestial Scriptures of the Lord God, makes the Quranic verses themselves as the center of faith/belief or disbelief/denying/rejecting regarding the Celestial, Divine Religion. Human beings (dis)believe in the Quranic verses and not in persons. We provide some details in the points below.
Firstly:
The messengers/prophets of the Lord God conveyed the Truth revealed to them by their Lord God; in contrast, there are messengers of devilish revelations who ascribe lies and falsehoods to the Lord God and deny and reject His Verses.
1- The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "Who commits graver injustice than he who lies about God, and denies the Truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell room for the disbelievers? But he who promotes the Truth, and testifies to it - these are the pious ones." (39:32-33). Once polytheists attribute lies and falsehoods to the Lord God, this means, ipso facto, that they deny and disbelief in the Lord God's Verses. Both acts of disbelief are linked and intertwined. This is why both (A) denying/disbelief and (B) ascribing lies to Allah are linked together in many Quranic verses. In our modern era, the Muhammadans accuse the Lord God's Book, the Quran, of (1) being lacking and thus in need of their Sunna hadiths and (2) being vague and thus in need of their exegeses and interpretations. This means that the Muhammadans never find the Quranic verses enough for them; they always require hadiths (or fatwas by their clergymen and sheikhs) to confirm the Quranic verses!
2- The expression (Who commits graver injustice) in 39:32 indicates the worst type of extreme injustice because it is a grave injustice against the Lord God Himself. Those unjust ones attribute their devilish revelations, discourses, narratives, and hadiths to the Lord God and to His Religion while they know that they never pertain to Allah at all. This is why 39:32 is a general Quranic rule that applies to all eras, regions, and tongues.
2/1: "Who commits graver injustice than someone who fabricates lies against God, or denies His Verses? The unjust ones will not succeed." (6:21); Al-Bokhary and his likes are among the unjust ones who will never be among the successful ones in the Hereafter.
2/2: "Who commits graver injustice than someone who fabricates lies about God, or denies His revelations? The criminals will never prosper." (10:17); Al-Bokhary and his likes are among the criminals who will never be among the winners in the Hereafter.
2/3: "Who commits graver injustice than he who invents lies and attributes them to God, in order to mislead people without knowledge? God does not guide the unjust people." (6:144); such unjust ones are never guided by the Lord God.
2/4: "...Who, then, commits graver injustice than he who invents lies and attributes them to God?”" (18:15).
2/5: "And who commits graver injustice than he who fabricates lies and attributes them to God, or calls the Truth a lie when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a dwelling for the disbelievers?" (29:68).
2/6: "...Clarification has come to you from your Lord, and guidance, and mercy. Who then commits graver injustice than he who denies God's Verses and turns away from them? We will repay those who turn away from Our Verses with the worst kind of torment because of their turning away." (6:157).
2/7: This is about their moment of dying: "Who commits graver injustice than someone who invents falsehood against God, or says, “It was revealed to me,” when nothing was revealed to him, or says, “I will reveal the like of what God revealed”? If only you could see the unjust ones in the floods of death, as the angels with arms outstretched: “Give up your souls. Today you are being repaid with the torment of shame for having said about God other than the Truth, and for being too proud to accept His Verses.”" (6:93); "Who commits graver injustice than he who invents lies about God, or denies His Verses? These - their share of the Book will reach them. Until, when Our envoys come to them, to take their souls away, they will say, “Where are they whom you used to pray to besides God?” They will say, “They have abandoned us,” and they will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers." (7:37).
2/8: This is about being brought before the Dominant Lord God on the Last Day and the witnesses who will testify against them: "Who commits graver injustice than he who fabricates lies about God? These will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, “These are they who lied about their Lord.” Indeed, the curse of God is upon the unjust ones." (11:18).
2/9: We quote the following Quranic verses about the followers of clergymen/imams/leaders of falsehoods and fabrications who believe in such fabricators and also in their devilish and misguiding hadiths/discourses/narratives.
2/9/1: "Who commits graver injustice than he, who, when reminded of his Lord’s Verses, turns away from them, and forgets what his hands have put forward? We have placed coverings over their hearts, lest they understand it, and heaviness in their ears. And if you call them to guidance, they will not be guided, ever." (18:57); this is why when Quranists urge any Muhammadans to believe in the Quranic Discourse only, those Muhammadans move away from them and reject what they say/write.
2/9/2: This is about the fate waiting for the Muhammadans in case of their death without sincere repentance: "Who commits graver injustice than he, who, when reminded of his Lord’s Verses, turns away from them? We will certainly wreak vengeance upon the criminals." (32:22).
2/9/3: It is no use trying to guide such polytheists: "And who commits graver injustice than he who attributes falsehoods to God, when he is being invited to Islam? God does not guide the unjust people." (61:7).
3- This is about those who freely choose out of their own accord to deny and disbelieve in the Lord God's Verses and they side with discourses/narratives which contradict them: "And relate to them the story of him to whom We delivered Our Verses, but he detached himself from them, so Satan went after him, and he became one of the misguided ones. Had We willed, We could have elevated him through them; but he clung to the ground, and followed his desires. His metaphor is that of a dog: if you chase it, it pants; and if you leave it alone, it pants. Such is the metaphor of the people who deny Our Verses. So tell the parable so that they may ponder. Evil is the metaphor of the people who reject Our Verses and wrong their souls." (7:175-177).
4- The Lord God misleads those polytheists who insist on believing in other discourses besides, or in lieu of, the Quranic Discourse: "As for those who reject Our Verses, We will gradually lead them from where they do not know. And I will give them respite. My scheme is firm. Do they not think? There is no madness in their companion. He is but an obvious warner. Have they not observed the realm of the heavens and the earth, and all the things that God created, and that their time may have drawn near? Which discourse, besides this, will they believe in?" (7:182-185); "So leave Me to those who reject this Discourse; We will proceed against them gradually, from where they do not know. And I will give them respite. My scheme is firm." (68:44-45).
Secondly:
The torment in this world for those who disbelieve in the Lord God's Verses is not an alternative for their Hell torment in the Hereafter.
1- There is the Divine, Celestial Book of the Lord God (i.e., the Quran), and in contrast, there are devilish hadiths/narratives which fill thousands of books authored in all eras and regions. Human beings are free to believe either in the Quran only or in the devilish revelations; one cannot combine the belief in both at the same time. One is to choose freely while bearing full responsibility for one's choice in the Hereafter; those who choose to deny and disbelief in the Lord God's Verses, and die without repentance, will enter into Hell: "O children of Adam! When messengers from among you come to you, relating to you My Verses - whoever practices piety and reforms - upon them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. But as for those who reject Our Verses, and are too proud to accept them - these are the inmates of the Fire, where they will remain forever." (7:35-36).
2- The Lord God says the following in the Quran about the previous ancient nations of disbelievers who ridiculed and mocked the messengers/prophets of the Lord God and the Lord God's Verses: "Messengers before you were ridiculed, but those who mocked them became besieged by what they ridiculed." (6:10); "Messengers before you were ridiculed, but I granted the disbelievers respite, and then I seized them. What a punishment it was!" (13:32); "Messengers before you were also ridiculed, but those who jeered were surrounded by what they had ridiculed." (21:41).
3- This is about the people of Noah.
3/1: They were destroyed and annihilated by the deluge; this was their torment because of their denying and disbelieving in the Lord God's Verses: "But they called him a liar. So We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our Verses. They were blind people." (7:64); "But they denounced him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We made them successors, and We drowned those who rejected Our Verses. So consider the fate of those who were warned." (10:73); "And We supported him against the people who rejected Our Verses. They were an evil people, so We drowned them all." (21:77). Thus, their Quranic description is as deniers of the Lord God's Verses and not as deniers of Noah as a person.
3/2: This is about the people of Aad.
3/2/1: "So We saved him and those with him, by mercy from Us, and We cut off the roots of those who rejected Our Verses and were not believers." (7:72).
3/2/2: "As for Aad, they turned arrogant on earth, and opposed justice, and said, “Who is more powerful than us?” Have they not considered that God, who created them, is more powerful than they? And they went on denying Our Verses." (41:15). Again, their Quranic description is as deniers of the Lord God's Verses and not as deniers of Hud as a person.
3/3: This is about the people of Thamood: "The people of the Rock also rejected the messengers. We gave them Our Verses, but they turned away from them. They used to carve homes in the mountains, feeling secure. But the Blast struck them in the morning. All they had acquired was of no avail to them." (15:80-84). Again, their Quranic description is as deniers of the Lord God's Verses and not as deniers of Saleh as a person.
3/4: This is about most of the Qorayish tribesmen and most Arabs in general during the lifetime of Muhammad: "Like the behavior of Pharaoh’s people and those before them. They rejected Our Verses, so God seized them for their sins. God is Strict in retribution." (3:11). This means they followed the footsteps of Moses' Pharaoh and his people and their disbelieving predecessors in denying and disbelieving in the Lord God's Verses.
Thirdly:
Abiding inside Hell forever in the Hereafter is the penalty for disbelievers who denied the Lord God's Verses; this is not about denying Muhammad, Noah,...etc., but about denying and disbelieving in God's Word. The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran.
1- "But as for those who disbelieve and reject Our Verses - these are the inmates of the Fire - wherein they will remain forever.”" (2:39).
2- "But as for those who reject Our Verses, and are too proud to accept them - these are the inmates of the Fire, where they will remain forever." (7:36).
3- "But those who disbelieve and reject Our Verses - these will have a humiliating torment." (22:57).
4- "But as for those who disbelieve and deny Our Verses - these are the inmates of the Fire." (5:86).
5- "Those who reject Our Verses and are too arrogant to believe in them - the doors of Heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise, until the camel passes through the eye of the needle. Thus We repay the criminals." (7:40).
6- "Those who took their religion lightly, and in jest, and whom the worldly life deceived. Today We will ignore them, as they ignored the meeting on this Day of theirs, and they used to deny Our Verses." (7:51).
7- "Those who deny Our Verses and the meeting of the Hereafter - their deeds will come to nothing. Will they be repaid except according to what they used to do?" (7:147).
8- "But as for those who disbelieved, and rejected Our Verses and the encounter of the Hereafter - those will be hauled into the torment." (30:16).
9- "That is their requital – Hell - on account of their disbelief, and their taking My Verses and My messengers in mockery." (18:106).
10- "Such is the recompense of God’s enemies - the Fire - where they will have their permanent home, in recompense for having denied Our Verses." (41:28).
11- "Those who seek to undermine Our Verses are not hidden from Us. Is he who is hurled into the Fire better? Or he who arrives safely on the Day of Resurrection? Do as you please; He is Seeing of everything you do." (41:40).
12- "Those who argue against Our Verses know that there is no escape for them." (42:35).
13- "And when he learns something of Our Verses, he takes them in mockery. For such there is a shameful torment." (45:9).
14- "But as for those who disbelieve and deny Our Verses - these are the inmates of the Fire, dwelling therein forever; and what a miserable fate!" (64:10).
15- "But as for those who disbelieve in Our Verses - these are the people of misery. Upon them is a padlocked Fire." (90:19-20).
16- We hope those who seek to undermine and cast doubt on the Quranic verses of the Lord God by accusing them of being lacking or missing something (as they persist in asking: where do we find such-and-such item in the Quran?!) to ponder deeply on the following verses: " But those who strive against Our Verses - these are the inmates of Hell." (22:51); "As for those who strive against Our Verses, seeking to undermine them - for them is a torment of a painful plague." (34:5); "But those who strive against Our Verses, seeking to undermine them - those will be summoned to the torment." (34:38).
17- "But as for those who deny Our Verses, torment will afflict them because of their committing sins." (6:49).
18- "And they denied Our Verses utterly. But We have enumerated everything in writing. So taste! We will increase you only in torment." (78:28-30).
Fourthly:
We exemplify the reminding of the Quranic verses (and not of Muhammad as a person and a prophet) within different situations within the Last Day.
Within Gathering: "On the Day when We gather from every community a group of those who rejected Our Verses; and they will be restrained. Until, when they arrive, He will say, “Did you reject My Verses without comprehending them? Or what is it you were doing?”" (27:83-84); "But whoever turns away from My Reminder, for him is a confined life. And We will raise him on the Day of Resurrection blind.” He will say, “My Lord, why did You raise me blind, though I was seeing?” He will say, “Just as Our Verses came to you, and you forgot them, today you will be forgotten.”" (20:124-126).
Within the Scales of weighing deeds: "But as for those whose Scales are light - it is they who have lost their souls, because they used to be unjust towards Our Verses." (7:9).
Within witnesses testifying against the sinners: "“O assembly of jinn and humans, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My Verses, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?” They will say, “We testify against ourselves.” The life of the world seduced them. They will testify against themselves that they were disbelievers." (6:130).
Within their standing before gates of Hell: "Those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, “Did not messengers from among you come to you, reading to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?” They will say, “Yes, but the verdict of torment is justified against the disbelievers.”" (39:71).
Within their seeing Hell-Fire: "Yes indeed! My Verses did come to you, but you called them lies, turned arrogant, and were of the disbelievers." (39:59).
Fifthly:
We exemplify the reminding of the Quranic verses (and not of Muhammad as a person and a prophet) within details about Hell in the Hereafter.
1- This is about their being gathered inside Hell: "...And We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection, on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf. Their abode is Hell; whenever it abates, We intensify the blaze for them. This is their repayment for having disbelieved in Our Verses, and having said, “Shall we, when we have become bones and fragments, be resurrected as a new creation?”" (17:97-98).
2- This is about their never being allowed to get out of Hell: " As for the sinners, they will be in the torment of Hell forever. It will never be eased for them. In it, they will be devastated. We did them no injustice, but it was they who were the unjust. And they will cry, “O Malik, let your Lord finish us off.” He will say, “You are staying.” We have given you the Truth, but most of you hate the Truth." (43:74-78); "As for those who disbelieve, for them is the Fire of Hell, wherein they will never be finished off and die, nor will its torment be lightened for them. Thus We will repay every disbeliever. And they will scream therein, “Our Lord, let us out, and we will act righteously, differently from the way we used to act.” Did We not give you a life long enough, in which anyone who wanted to understand would have understood? And the warner did come to you. So taste. The unjust ones will have no helper." (35:36-37); "Those who reject Our Verses - We will scorch them in a Fire. Every time their skins are cooked, We will replace them with other skins, so they will experience torment. God is Most Powerful, Most Wise." (4:56).
3- This is about their unbearable screaming inside Hell: "Until, when We seize the affluent ones among them with torment, they begin to scream. Do not scream today. You will receive no help from Us. My Verses were read to you, but you turned back on your heels. Arrogant towards it - talked nonsense about it in gatherings - disregarded it. Have they not pondered the Word? Or has there come to them what came not to their forefathers of old?" (23:64-68).
4- This is about chains and being immersed in lava-like water of Hell: "Have you not observed those who argue against God's Verses, how they have deviated? Those who call the Book a lie, and what We sent Our messengers with - they will surely know. When the yokes are around their necks, and they will be dragged by the chains. Into the boiling water, then in the Fire they will be tormented." (40:69-72).
Lastly:
1- Would polytheists still prefer entering into Hell for the sake of adhering to their belief in Al-Bokhary hadiths and other devilish hadiths after reading the Quranic verses we have quoted above?!
2- What about those who believe in the Quranic verses of the Lord God? We quote the following verses about them.
2/1: "They believe in Our Verses, those who, when reminded of them, fall down prostrate, and glorify their Lord with praise, and are not proud." (32:15).
2/2: "Those who believed in Our Verses and were submitters." (43:69).
2/3: "Those who adhere to the Book and perform prayers - We will not waste the reward of the reformers." (7:170).
3- This is about a comparison between those who believe in the Lord God's Quranic verses and those who deny, reject, and disbelieve in them: "Those who believe in God and His messengers - these are the sincere and the witnesses with their Lord; they will have their reward and their Light. But as for those who disbelieve and deny Our Verses - these are the inmates of Hell." (57:19).

CONCLUSION of the book
CONCLUSION of the book
Firstly: the reason behind our writing this book:
1- The sheikhs, imams, and clergymen of the Muhammadans dream of spreading their religion worldwide and feel 'sorry' for those who never heard of the message of 'Islam' in African jungles and in the Amazon woods; they also accuse Christians of disbelief and polytheism because Christians deify and worship Jesus Christ as a son of God (may the Lord God be Exalted and High above such blasphemy). The Muhammadans typically give the impression that they feel that they follow the 'truth'.
2- The Christian clergymen dream of proselytizing their religion worldwide and feel 'sorry' for those who never heard of the New Testament in African jungles and in the Amazon woods; they also accuse the Muhammadans (assumed wrongly to be 'Muslims') of disbelief and paganism because they do not believe in Jesus Christ as a son of God (may the Lord God be Exalted and High above such blasphemy). The Christians typically give the impression that they feel that they follow the 'truth'.
3- The Christians do not know that the Muhammadans never consider Jesus Christ as a son of God because the Quran declares the disbelief of those who adhere to the claim of deifying Jesus Christ. Yet, the Muhammadans have ascribed to Muhammad many God-like qualities in the similar manner we find in the descriptions of Jesus Christ by Christians. For instance, in their hadiths, the Muhammadans claim that Muhammad was created from the Light of Allah; this is similar to describing Jesus as a son of God. Again, in their hadiths, the Muhammadans claim that Muhammad was made a prophet before the creation of Adam from mud; they believe in the hadith that the 'light' of Muhammad was created before the creation of the universe and before the creation of Adam! This deification of Muhammad by the Muhammadans is very similar to how Christians deify Jesus Christ.
4- The Muhammadans do not realize the following.
4/1: The Muhammadans deify and worship their imams as gods besides Allah, and thus, they have followed the footsteps of other polytheists among the People of the Book who deify their rabbis and priests; it is as though the Muhammadans never read this Quranic verse: "They have taken their rabbis and their priests as gods instead of Allah, as well as the Messiah son of Mary. Although they were commanded to worship none but the One God. There is no God except He. Glory be to Him; High above what they associate with Him within polytheism." (9:31).
4/2: The Lord God has commanded Muhammad to declare the following to the People of the Book in Arabia: "Say, “O People of the Book, come to terms common between us and you: that we worship none but God, and that we associate nothing with Him, and that none of us takes others as gods besides Allah.” And if they turn away, say, “Bear witness that we have submitted.”" (3:64); submission to the Lord God here means Islam; i.e., the early believers with Muhammad in Arabia have become Muslims or submitters to Allah. In contrast, the Muhammadans have contradicted 3:64 by making Muhammad, their imams, and their so-called 'saints'/allies as partners or associates of Allah in divinity and in sovereignty in this world and on the Last Day; they have chosen to worship and deify mortals like Al-Bokhary, [the male saint] Hussein, [the female saint] Zeinab,...etc., and this is why we call them as (Muhammadans) and not as Muslims/submitters.
5- The Christians and the Muhammadans never realize the fact that they worship and deify mortal human beings like them; namely, (Jesus Christ, rabbis/priests, and all clergymen in general) and (Muhammad, household member of Muhammad and Ali, the so-called 'saints'/allies, the so-called 'companions', and the caliphs) respectively. Yet, there is a remarkable difference: the gods and deities of the Muhammadans are so many when compared to the number of gods and deities of Christians. For instance, the so-called companions of Muhammad are tens of thousands of men, whereas the disciples of Jesus Christ were tens of men.
6- Until when would the polytheistic Muhammadans continue to disbelieve in the Lord of the Worlds? All human souls will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment and the Dominant Lord God will settle their disputes and differences regarding religion.
Lastly:
1- We hope our readers would ponder deeply on the following Quranic verses: "We created you - if only you would believe! Have you seen what you ejaculate? Is it you who create it, or are We the Creator? We have decreed death among you, and We will not be outstripped. In replacing you with your likes, and transforming you into what you do not know. You have known the first formation; if only you would remember. Have you seen what you cultivate? Is it you who make it grow, or are We the Grower? If We will, We can turn it into rubble; then you will lament. “We are penalized. No, we are being deprived.” Have you seen the water you drink? Is it you who sent it down from the clouds, or are We the Sender? If We will, We can make it salty. Will you not be thankful? Have you seen the fire you kindle? Is it you who produce its tree, or are We the Producer? We have made it a reminder, and a comfort for the users. So glorify the Name of your Great Lord." (56:57-74). The mortal human being and prophet, Muhammad, is not involved in the context of 56:57-74; is he an immortal creator or a human creature like us? Until when would the polytheistic Muhammadans continue to disbelieve in the Lord of the Worlds? All human souls will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment and the Dominant Lord God will settle their disputes and differences regarding religion.
2- We hope our readers would ponder deeply on the following Quranic verses: "O people! A parable is presented, so listen to it: Those you invoke besides God will never create a fly, even if they banded together for that purpose. And if the fly steals anything from them, they cannot recover it from it. Weak are the pursuer and the pursued. They do not value God as He should be valued. God is Strong and Powerful." (22:73-74). The mortal human being and prophet, Muhammad, is not involved in the context of 22:73-74; is he an immortal creator or a human creature like us? Can the imaginary immortal deity named by the polytheists as (Muhammad) create a fly? Can other gods like Hussein, Muhammad's and Ali's household members, Al-Bokhary, and Ibn Taymiyya create a fly? Until when would the polytheistic Muhammadans continue to disbelieve in the Lord of the Worlds? All human souls will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment and the Dominant Lord God will settle their disputes and differences regarding religion.
3- We hope our readers would ponder deeply on the following Quranic verses: "They have not esteemed God as He ought to be esteemed. The entire earth will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right. Exalted and High is He, and He is beyond the associations they make. And the Trumpet will be sounded, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be stunned, except whomever God wills. Then it will be sounded another time, whereupon they will rise up, looking on. And the earth will shine with the Light of its Lord; and the Book will be put in place; and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought in; and Judgment will be passed among them equitably, and they will not be wronged. And every soul will be fully compensated for what it had done. He is well aware of what they do. Those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, “Did not messengers from among you come to you, reading to you the Verses of your Lord, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?” They will say, “Yes, but the verdict of punishment is justified against the disbelievers.” It will be said, “Enter the gates of Hell, to abide therein eternally.” How wretched is the destination of the arrogant. And those who feared their Lord within piety will be led to Paradise in throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you, you have been good, so enter it, to abide therein eternally.” And they will say, “Praise be to God, who has fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the land, enjoying Paradise as we please.” How excellent is the reward of the workers. And you will see the angels hovering around the Throne, glorifying their Lord with praise. And it will be judged between them equitably, and it will be said, “Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.”" (39:67-75). The mortal human being and prophet, Muhammad, is not involved in the context of 39:67-75; is he an immortal creator or a human creature like us? Is he going to be the master and controller of the Day of Judgment or will he be among the witnesses brought within the Day of Judgment? Until when would the polytheistic Muhammadans continue to disbelieve in the Lord of the Worlds? All human souls will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment and the Dominant Lord God will settle their disputes and differences regarding religion.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Omar Ali: I have a suggestion to make to you, my dear Dr. Mansour: One of the previous articles of yours, written in Oct. 2014, titled (The Prophet, in Their Hadiths, Is Marked on his Nape!), should be added to this series of article when it appears in a book form soon enough. This article is closely linked to the topic of this great book, I think.
(2) Dr. Ahmed Subhy Mansour: Thank you very much, Mr. Omar Ali, for your invaluable suggestion. Our article titled (The Prophet, in Their Hadiths, Is Marked on his Nape!) will be copied in the ANNEX of this book.

Introduction:
1- The human gods or lords of the terrestrial/earthly, man-made religions of Satan, followed by the Muhammadans, have invented and fashioned a deity as per their own whims and desires; their imaginary deity, named as 'Muhammad', is described as per their sick imagination of polytheism; the portrayal of this imaginary god combines both deifying him and ridiculing/despising him at the same time! Such imaginary deity has nothing whatsoever to do with the real mortal prophet, Muhammad, whose true character and his only true portrayal are mentioned exclusively in the Divine Message of Islam; namely, the Holy Quran. Of course, all messengers and prophets of the Lord God are the best human beings chosen by Him to convey His Books/Scriptures; the Lord God knows best where to place His Divine Message.
2- One of the Quranic descriptions of Muhammad is that he is the last prophet sent by the Lord God or the seal of prophets: "Muhammad is not the father of any of your men; but he is the Messenger of God, and the seal of the prophets. God is Cognizant of everything." (33:40). The term (seal) is also employed here to describe, in a metaphoric sense, the drink of the Paradise dwellers: "Whose seal is musk - this is what competitors should compete for." (83:26).
3- Sadly, the polytheistic Sunnite authors consider this 'seal' as if it were a mark sealed on the nape of their imaginary deified Prophet which has nothing to do with Muhammad the mortal prophet mentioned in the Holy Quran. In the Arab and Egyptian culture, to say that a man is marked on his nape with a seal/sign means to ridicule and despise him; showing that this man is marked as a local idiot. Besides, cattle are the ones who are sealed/branded with marks. This is exemplified in this Quranic verse about how the polytheists will be despised and humiliated within Hell-torment on the Last Day: "We will brand him on the muzzle." (68:16).
4- In the points below, we quote passages which exemplify what the polytheistic gods/lords/authors of the Sunnite religion of Satan have written in their books about their deity whom they have named as 'Muhammad' who is marked on his nape; again, we remind our readers that this imaginary, false deity of theirs has nothing to do with the mortal prophet, Muhammad, whose only true history and portrayal are found exclusively in the Quranic text.
Firstly: during the Abbasid Era:
1- Al-Bokhary in his hadiths-book writes the following hadith about the so-called seal of prophethood in the chapter about praising Muhammad: (Hadith No. 3348: Ibn Obaydillah said that Hatem Ibn Ismail said that Al-Gaeid Ibn Abdul-Rahman said that Saa'ib Ibn Yazeed said that his maternal aunt took him once, as a child, to visit the Holy Prophet Muhammad to implore him to grant his benediction to the child who fell on his head and was wounded; the Holy Prophet caressed the head of the child and implored Allah to grant him benediction and bless his life; the Holy Prophet performed ablution inside his chamber and the child watched him; the woman stood outside, and the Holy Prophet made the child drink the water of this ablution; the Holy Prophet was naked to the waist; the curious child saw the seal of prophethood, like a mark as big as a grape, on his nape when he saw his bare back; the child was made to perform ablution from the water left by the Holy Prophet...).
2- Moslem in his hadiths-book writes the following hadith about the so-called seal of prophethood within the body of Muhammad in the chapter about praising Muhammad: (Hadith No. 2344: Ibn Al-Muthana said that Ibn Jaffer said that Shu'ba said that Samak said that Jabber Ibn Samra said that he saw the seal of prophethood on the nape of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, when he saw his naked back; the mark was as big as an egg of a dove ... The same text of the hadith is narrated by another series of narrators: Obaydillah Ibn Moussa said that Hassan Ibn Saleh said that Samak said that...etc. ...).
3- Al-Tirmizy (209 – 279 A.H.), who was among the disciples of Al-Bokhary and he lived and died in Tirmiz, Persia (now in Uzbekistan), writes in his book titled (Traits and Descriptions of Muhammad) the following several hadiths about the so-called seal of prophethood within a chapter dedicated to this topic: (... Hadith No. 15: Qotayba Ibn Saeed said that Ibn Obaydillah said that Hatem Ibn Ismail said that Al-Gaeid Ibn Abdul-Rahman said that Saa'ib Ibn Yazeed said that his maternal aunt took him once, as a child, to visit the Holy Prophet Muhammad to implore him to grant his benediction to the child who fell on his head and was wounded; the Holy Prophet caressed the head of the child and implored Allah to grant him benediction and bless his life; the Holy Prophet performed ablution inside his chamber and the child watched him; the woman stood outside, and the Holy Prophet made the child drink the water of this ablution; the Holy Prophet was naked to the waist; the curious child saw the seal of prophethood, like a mark as big as a grape, on his nape when he saw his bare back; the child was made to perform ablution from the water left by the Holy Prophet ... Hadith No. 16: Saeed Ibn Yacoub said that Ayoub Ibn Jabber said that Samak Ibn Harb said that Jabber Ibn Samra said that he saw the seal of prophethood on the nape of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, when he saw his naked back; the mark was as big as an egg of a dove ... Hadith No. 17: Abou Musaab said that Youssef Ibn Assim said that Ibn Omar Ibn Qotada said that his grandmother Rumaysa said that she heard the Holy Prophet Muhammad saying that the seal of prophethood is a mark on his nape in the middle between his two shoulders; Saad Ibn Muaaz desired ardently to kiss this mark, but he couldn't; yet, when he died in the battlefield, the Holy Prophet Muhammad said that his death caused the Throne of the Dominant Lord to shake ... Hadith No. 18: Ahmad Ibn Abou said that Ali Ibn Hajar said that he heard many men saying that Eissa Ibn Younis said that Omar Ibn Abdullah said that Ibrahim, among the descendants of the grandsons of Ali Ibn Abou Talib, said that he can describe the body of the Holy Prophet Muhammad; among his descriptions was the seal of prophethood between his shoulders, on his back, slightly below his nape and how this marked him as the Last Prophet and Seal of all Prophets of Allah ... Hadith No, 19: Ibn Bashar said that Abou assim said that Ibn Thabet said that Albaa Ibn Ahmar said that Abou Zaid Amr Ibn Akhtab said that at one time, the Holy Prophet Muhammad asked him to touch his bare shoulders and nape; this way, he was made to see the seal of prophethood which was in the form of a tuft of hair ... Hadith No. 20: Abou Ammar Al-Khozaay said that Ali Ibn Hussein Ibn Waked said that his father said that Abdullah Ibn Barida said that his father said that Salman Al-Faresi came to visit the Holy Prophet Muhammad inside Yathreb for the first time; when he offered him a plate of dates, while saying it is from charity food, the Holy Prophet Muhammad refused to eat; when he told him it is a gift specially for him, Holy Prophet Muhammad ate from this plate; Salman had but one more sign to assure himself that this is a Prophet of the Lord; he had to see the seal of prophethood on his body when he would have the chance ... Hadith No. 22: Ibn Bashar said that Bishr Ibn Waddah said that Abou Aqeel said that Abou Nadrah said that Abou Saeed Al-Khodary said that the seal of prophethood on the nape of our Holy Prophet Muhammad was in the form of a small tuft of coarse hair ... Hadith No. 23: Ahmad Ibn Abou Al-Ashaath of Basra said that Hammad Ibn Zaid said that Assim Al-Ahwal said that Abdullah Ibn Sergis said that he came to visit the Holy Prophet Muhammad inside Yathreb and he saw him surrounded by a group of men among his companions; he approached the Holy Prophet from behind and saw the seal of prophethood on his nape; it was like small warts grouped together; the Holy Prophet made him feel the seal with his hand to make sure; the Holy Prophet implored Allah to pardon this man ...).
Secondly: during the Mameluke Era in Egypt:
Ibn Sayed Ennas (671 – 734 A.H.) was born in Cairo, Egypt and died in it; in his book titled (Oyoun Al-Athar fi Fonoun Al-Maghazy wi Al-Shamael wi Al-Seyar) writes the following under the title (the seal of prophethood); he compiled all myths of the Abbasid Era about the same topic and how the so-called seal had different marks and shapes either in the nape or in the back! (... Jabber Ibn Samra said the seal of prophethood was like an egg of a dove on the nape of the Holy Prophet .... Abou Rumaysa said that the seal of prophethood was a tuft of hair on the back of the Holy Prophet on his back in the middle between his shoulders ... It was said that when some men offered to remove this mark from the back of our Holy Prophet and to heal him from it, he refused and told them that Allah has put it that way ... Some other men who saw the naked back of our Holy Messenger of Allah said that the seal of prophethood was as red as an apple and it had its shape; yet, Salman Al-Faresi said it was akin to an egg of a dove on the left shoulder of our Holy Prophet ... Some other men assert that it was a round mark with a color that differed from the color of his white skin ... Some other contemporaries of our Holy Prophet asserted it was like a tuft of unruly hairs on his nape; others said it was on his left shoulder ... In other narratives, some men asserted it was a green spot ingrained in the skin like a tattoo; some others said it was like a mole on the nape ... Abdullah Ibn Sergis said that the seal of prophethood was a blackened wart on the left shoulder, as per the hadith narrated by Moslem ... Some other eye-witnesses said that this seal of prophethood was like a walnut branded with hot rod as per the Isnad by Abou Omar who narrated from Abbad Ibn Amr ... In the context of the hadith of how the chest of our Holy Prophet was cut open by the archangel Gabriel, the seal of prophethood was mentioned as like a royal seal in the middle of his back between both shoulders and it was always cold when compared to the rest of the body; Al-Waqidi said it was never seen until the Holy Prophet died when his body was purified with water before burial ...).
Thirdly: during our bleak, modern era of Wahabism and of the Wahabi ISIS terrorist organization:
We quote the following passages from the Wahabi website whose links (containing the passagesin Arabic) will precede every passage in the points below.
1- (http://fatwa.islamweb.net/fatwa/index.php?page=showfatwa&Option=FatwaId&Id=36751). (... A Question: Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you; I'd like to read a summary of what was written about the seal of prophethood which is said to have been found as a mark on the body of Prophet Muhammad. Thank you in advance. An Answer: Praised be the Lord God and may His blessings and peace descend on our Messenger of Allah and his household members and his companions; there are many authenticated and verified hadiths about describing the seal of prophethood found in the body of our Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allah descend on him, for instance, in the Moslem Book of Hadiths, Abdullah Ibn Sergis narrated a hadith about the seal of prophethood which was like a group of warts grouped in one spot over the left shoulder of our Prophet Muhammad. Jabber Ibn Samra narrated a hadith about the seal of prophethood which resembled an egg of a dove; this hadith is mentioned in the Book of Hadiths by Al-Nawawi who added that the seal of prophethood was as big as a fist on the back of our Prophet Muhammad. Some other narrators said it was like mole on the back of our Prophet Muhammad. Some other hadiths assert it was like a tuft of unruly hairs. Allah knows best. ...).
2- (http://articles.islamweb.net/media/index.php?id=58980&lang=A&page=article). We read here an explanation of a very 'serious' issue for the Muhammadans: (... All verified hadiths assert the fact that the seal of prophethood was located in the middle of the back between the shoulders of Prophet Muhammad; it was a red mark in the size of a small egg, and some narrators said it was in the size of a fist seen clearly on his holy body's back; Al-Saa'ib Ibn Yazeed said his maternal aunt brought him as a child wounded in the head to Prophet Muhammad to bless him.......As a child, he saw Prophet Muhammad when he performed ablution and saw his bare shoulders to examine the seal of prophethood. Jabber Ibn Samra narrated a hadith about the seal of prophethood which was like an egg of a dove. The hadith about the description of the body of Prophet Muhammad includes his salt-and-pepper hair and beard, a trimmed one, and that his face was as radiant as the sun and the moon together; the seal of prophethood was an egg-shaped red mark on his left shoulder as per hadiths found in the Hadiths Book by Moslem ... The seal of prophethood was mentioned in the context of the story of how Salman Al-Faresi converted to Islam; he noticed that Prophet Muhammad never ate charity items and accepted gifts of food; he waited for a chance to see the bare back of Prophet Muhammad to see the seal of prophethood which was a tuft of hair on his left shoulder; Salman kissed it as he realized it; Prophet Muhammad told him he showed it to him on purpose since he knew why he came here; Salman wept and converted to Islam; this narrative and its Isnad are mentioned by the imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal in his Hadiths Book titled (Mosnad Ibn Hanbal). By the way, some women who were contemporaries of Muhammad and saw him naked to the waist said they saw the seal of prophethood on his back; when a woman touched it with her hand, her father rebuked her; yet, Prophet Muhammad told him to let her touch it as she desired to make sure he was the Messenger of Allah. We assert here that this seal of prophethood was a very special sign granted to Prophet Muhammad who was honored and distinguished by Allah as he was the Seal of Prophets and the Last Prophet sent to all humanity; no one can deny these hadiths and proofs about the seal of prophethood. Allah knows best. ...).
3- (http://fatwa.islamweb.net/fatwa/index.php?page=showfatwa&Option=FatwaId&Id=247432). Because it is a matter of life-or-death for Sunnites, questions continue to be posed about it; here is a one about more details about 'deep' faith of Sunnites about the branded mark of the 'Beast' on the nape of their deity and this question is followed by a 'decisive', 'comprehensive' answer: (... A Question: Was the seal of prophethood marked on the back of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, since his blessed birth-day or not? Or was it branded by the archangel Gabriel when he tore open and purified his chest in Mecca? Is it true or not that a Jew came to Mecca to verify this seal of prophethood on the newly born baby Muhammad? An Answer: Praised be the Lord God and may His blessings and peace descend on our Messenger of Allah and his household members and his companions; there is a dispute among scholars of hadiths about these narratives; for instance, Ibn Hajar in his book titled (Fath Al-Bari), which is a commentary and an exegeses on Al-Bokhary Hadiths Book, writes that the seal of prophethood was not found once Prophet Muhammad was born. Yet, other historians who wrote biographies of Prophet Muhammad assert he was born with this mark on his back or his nape. Yet, many other hadiths collectors, like Al-Bayhaqi, endorse the narrative that it appeared on his back after the incident when the archangel Gabriel tore open and purified his chest with Light of Wisdom; this narrative contains the incident that Gabriel branded this mark on the left shoulder of Prophet Muhammad and another one below his left nipple ... Yet, other historians like.............assert that Prophet Muhammad was born with that seal of prophethood; few historians like...............assume it appeared later on during his adulthood. Hadiths by Aisha and Abou Hurayrah assert that the seal of prophethood appeared once Prophet Muhammad began his ministry after his encounter with archangel Gabriel during the Night-Journey; these hadiths are asserted by Al-Siyouti. As for the narrative of the Jew who came from Yathreb to Mecca to see if a male baby was born with a tuft of unruly hairs or a black mole on the left shoulder which mark the Last Prophet of Allah, it is mentioned by the historian Ibn Saad and hadiths collectors like Al-Bayhaqi and Al-Hakim; this narrative is ascribed to Aisha and in it there is a detail about jinn trying to verify if the Last Prophet was born or not; the narrative ends in the Jew seeing the seal of prophethood on the shoulder of the newly born baby Muhammad and he screamed and fainted; he realized the end of the line of prophethood among the Israelites; this story is mentioned by the historian Ibn Hajar; most People of the Book at the time knew about the seal of prophethood and some of them demanded from Prophet Muhammad to see it before they converted to Islam; even the Byzantine governor of Egypt sent an envoy to see it to verify if Prophet Muhammad was indeed the Messenger of Allah; the hadith by the narrators Abou Zar and Otba Ibn Obayd and Aisha asserts that this mark or seal of prophethood was branded by Gabriel when he tore open the chest of Prophet Muhammad to clean it with Light of Wisdom ... Some historians assert that this seal of prophethood removed itself miraculously after the death of Prophet Muhammad before his burial when his body was purified with water; other many historians refute this narrative because of its weak, doubted Isnad or series of narrators. Allah knows best. ...).
Lastly:
Traveling within the outer space is a common, ordinary journey now in spaceships and space shuttles by many people in the West and in the East; in contrast, the 'scholars' and sheikhs of Wahabism are busy with studying and teaching such nonsense and balderdash invented during the Abbasid Era. It is as if there were no problem in the Middle-East countries and their Sunnite Wahabi sheikhs and clergymen have more than enough time to study, propagate, spread, and teach such nonsense and balderdash; this is because their Wahabi religion of Satan is based on nothing but such nonsense and balderdash.
COMMENTS:
(1) Mr. Ahmad M. Ahmad: Muhammad the Prophet was an ordinary human being and not a superman with super power; as per the Quran itself, the sole mission of Muhammad was conveying the Quranic Message; after completing his mission, he died. Why can't people realize this fact?! The focus of Muslims should be on the Quran itself and not on Muhammad who delivered the Quran. To elevate Muhammad as 'greater' than other prophets and messengers is to deify him as a god besides Allah; this is sheer polytheism. The Quranists are the true Muslims/monotheists; one day, I hope, the polytheistic Muhammadans would be warned by the Quranic facts elucidated by Dr. Mansour in his writings.
(2) Ms. Marwa Ahmed Mustafa: The Lord God know best where to place His message; He chose the truthful man, Muhammad, for his being an honest person with integrity and a very high moralistic level; it is a nonsensical idea that there were any marks on the body of Muhammad at all. This idea has been invented by those who deify Muhammad and insist on making him a god besides Allah; they have abandoned the Quran and desire to misguide others and distract them from the Quranic Message conveyed by Muhammad.
